I still usually download, but youtube is pretty easy access and has a lot of stuff thesedays.
I don't even have speakers for my new PC and don't really care, I've had these babies for a few years: It's falling apart from falling off my desk too much though, lots of tape holding the plastic together on the right side. |

You know it's been an epic weekend when a picture of my eminence emerges, donning female glasses and all!
And awesomely mysterious as well. You just can't capture me on camera! (Last edited by Lord Xeusalexanders VII on 10-18-10 02:54 AM) |

I have never had major issues with allergies...
... until this year. Anyways I'm just throwing this out there to maybe get some idea's, I figure it could be different for everyone but I dunno. Anything specific that might be bothering my eyes consistently? They've been extremely dry lately, feels burning at times, etc. In my own home, even after going outside for fresh air and going places, etc. Got some good eye drops finally though, seems to help a little bit. Next time I take Alka Seltzer or Claratin D I'm gonna pay attention and see if that helps this too. It's been so bad this year and such a long time that I'm kind of interested in getting tested for allergies again. I don't have any, but maybe that's changed. Anyone know how much this kind of thing usually goes for? |

To quote my friend whom saw it a few months ago, and who also isn't that big into mecha: "Wow this show is like the feeling of being alive turned into a show".

I took Claratin D again today and paid attention to my eyes this time, it definitely helped tremendously... and when it wore off I could really tell. Ugh, thought I'd never say this but just give us winter! | |||

Well everyone, I'm alive. Surgery was yesterday morning. Such a simple surgery turned into a nightmare, I can surely say that. When it was all said and done and I was in my private room getting ready to leave I told my mom "I'm never fucking doing this again", I've never said anything like that in front of her before.
So here's the chain reaction: - We had to call in the day before because they never called, apparently they had an address and phone number to a place we lived like 4 houses back at. Pure luck. - Firstly I didn't sleep Wednesday night. As you've all probably heard me say a lot, I do have major insomnia and it was just one of those nights. The slight nervousness probably didn't help. So no sleep probably didn't help at all. - Secondly when we got there and I was talking with Admission to get ready, I was told we needed a financial aid counselor since we had no insurance, we were never contacted about this (again could be the address mix up), but they finally got a hold of somebody and the aid was pleased with how "pleasant" I was and I put down a chunk, hopefully that means they'll go easy on me. - So I get in on time and go back to get my gown on and ready, get into bed and so far so good. I meet the anesthesia guy who was pretty fun to be around and another nurse was around, both asking questions and stuff. First off this place was a bigger hospital than I was at for my last surgery two years ago, so instead of private area's I was just in one big room with curtains separating me and other patients. A bit nerve racking. Well then the fun begins, the anesthesiast misses a vein on my hand and hit a valve or something, which absolutely hurt like hell. I didn't want to look at it, he's trying to fix that up while some guy across from me is asking questions and doing paperwork, then another girl comes in to do the same and all of a sudden I had for a first, what I'm guessing was a major anxiety panic attack. I started boiling and sweating like waterfalls, completely lost focus and barely answered the ladies questions, I can't even remember what she was talking about. Luckily one of the more profound nurses there got me going on anesthesia on my other hand so they got some fluids in me to calm me down. Now all of a sudden other nurses noticed my wrist tag had a different code number than my paperwork. This was a huge deal and literally took them about an hour and a half to fix. So instead of 7:30, I remember going in around 9:00. This definitely didn't help my patience and anxiety. Finally I get in and it was easy to get to that other table, get that mask on, I was ready. It happened and all went well from what I'm hearing. But afterwords I wake up and the complications continue. I wake up to excruciating pain and on a scale of 0-10 I was telling them an 8, so they loaded me up with drugs. Now it gets worse because I have to pee real bad, so they hand me a container and I literally tried to go for about 30 minutes to an hour. I even was able to stand up with another nurse thinking that might help but it didn't. My heart rate was in the 130-140's and the nurse wasn't going to let me go anywhere. They then tell me all the pain meds can cause this and I'd probably need to be catherated. They did a bladder scan and I had 650 units of whatever when they said 250 is about when normal people go to the bathroom, so it had to be done. They basically stuck something up there and sucked it our or something. Not very pleasant but at this point I didn't even care and it felt good to get that all out. After this my heart rate dropped and I finally did better. Eventually they took me to a private room to meet up with my mom, then I get dressed and almost starting crying from the pain and shock apparently, because it was so damn hard to get dressed. Got some gram crackers and sprite in me which was good. Finally wheel chaired out and headed home. The whole day I felt like shit from all the drugs and took a few bites of my dinner, but it got better as the day went on. Today I'm doing much better, got a lot of rest yesterday and the same today. Probably going to bed again right now. So yeah, that really sucked ass. But it's over and I'm alive. I don't know if that's your typical day at surgery, but I certainly don't want to do that again. |

Definitely getting better day by day... I think, it really hurts like hell if I move wrong or whatnot. I'm starting to wonder if I'll even want to go into school early this week, guess we'll see.
Was actually able to eat yesterday though. Feeling pretty normal today again too. Walking more too, but yeah the pain... I hope it's going alright and I haven't done anything crazy. I will finally get to shower tomorrow. , then I've got to pull off this padding and I guess the rest of the stuff on there is dissoluble stitches that will be on there for about 2 weeks or something from what I remember them saying. I think I mentioned I thought this hernia was giving me other complications? Because I have got to tell you guys, it feels like I have an entirely new stomach altogether. Even physically my entire lower stomach is flatter and feels so much better. I go in on the 10th for a checkup with the surgeon so I'll probably get some details then, I want to assume this hernia was moving a lot around but my mom said the surgeon said everything went perfectly and didn't mention anything was out of place. Pretty weird, but I'm so glad this seems to have fixed a lot more like I was hoping. It's seriously just really weird. I thought it was some fat under my belly button, but it looks completely different now. This is a bit above where the hernia really poked out, so I guess it was just really putting pressure on my intestines or something. |

Overall, I don't think I was ever very pleased with any version of 3 compared to 2, I think I remember some others here agreed with me on that one too. 3 seemed to slow things down so much and just wasn't as slick. So this is all good to hear.
I still haven't really jumped on the Chrome bandwagon, but I like Opera. It doesn't seem as secure as the others though. |

Your hair looks thick, maybe full of callaces, and uncooperative like mine perhaps? Haha... maybe.
I just wish I could do facial hair, then I'd probably be able to be more creative with my hair. I think about maybe trying to straighten it out sometime, but I dunno. It's just all over the place when it gets longer. Maybe I could try buzzing it again since I haven't done that since grade school, but I have a feeling it'd make me look like I'm 12. |

Astrophel: Have you experimented with installing it on the HDD or anything? Wonder if that helps load times and such.
I'm still pretty tempted to get this sometime soon. I've been craving a really long single player experience again. I got some more b-day money and could probably either get Vanquish, Black Ops, or perhaps this. I'm pretty sure this would probably be the longest game out of those... and although I think Black Ops looks far better than MW2, I wonder if it'd just be another "fun for a month" kind of game. Vanquish looks epic but I'm guessing it's short. So, I might pick this up soon. I dunno. |
