| Three weeks in and this is pretty crazy. I'm really starting to feel like a different person... IE, I'm starting to feel like I can be myself again and live life. Way more energetic around people, anxieties are going away, I am more composed and organized when I'm at home doing things now (like making plans to do stuff and not just sitting around doing nothing), and there's been several things that happened this week at work that would've made me go crazy just a month back... but wow it's like I just didn't give a crap.
I like this feeling. I still have some bad days though, which they said is normal with my body just kind of freaking out now. But wow, can't wait to see how I feel in the coming weeks. |

It's funny how much I've always been fascinated with astronomy, space travel, robotics, and things like that... always hated science in school though, haha. Guess it's different though.

Nowhere near the level of Alien for me, but the more I think about it, the more I like it.

Major spoilers, but this is a good read. With that said, it's apparent a lot of the same themes that are in this are in Blade Runner... which is just on a whole new level. I rewatched it last night, the Final Cut, and it just seriously might be my favorite movie of all time. I can't believe how good both it and Alien look in BD. It also helps that they're not really held down by many weird cultural elements of the past... maybe aside from some hairstyles and stuff here and there, but in general I think these are some of the most timeless movies ever made. I can imagine Prometheus could get better with rewatches though, like most of Scott's classics. That and I hope when it lands on the streets we'll get a lot of extended scenes or something.
