| Is Dominion War the later post season 3 stuff? That's what I've heard makes it awesome later on. People claim it has more action in the later stuff than like any other sci-fi show out there, haha.
I am a huge fan of android "what is human" stuff in sci-fi, so yeah that sounds cool about Voyager. Data is easily one of my favorites, just saw the episode where his mechanic wanted to dissemble him and take him away for mass production. Good stuff. This made my day: |

We had our iPod privileges stripped away from us at work a few months back, but one of our new bosses came in and setup a global Pandora account for everyone in the back end, so we pick an artist per week and go for there. Outside of metal or old hair glam stuff, I'm pretty ignorant to everything... but that's how bad and repetitive some of this shit has become already. Rihanna, Drake, whoever uses auto-tune all the time, etc. My god the rap especially that gets played all the time is super grating. So yeah, metal, to rock, to country, to opera, to oldies... it's quite a hilarious transition sometimes. (restricted) |

Technology is definitely a love/hate thing for me. I don't miss dial up a damn bit, or massive hilariously bulky devices. At the same time, it was nice when not everyone and their dog had cellphones and were FORCED(?) to make conversation with people in break rooms and stuff. Never see anything like that anymore. I'm guilty as charged myself, but what can you do. Multiplayer / split screen gaming. Nuff' said. Gaming was more niche' and awesome. Badass action heros with explosions arms always saved the day. Cartoons were good. Sci-fi was relevant. Dinosaurs were everywhere. Here's a good one, the experience of renting movies. I DON'T MISS Eminem, grunge, and just about all mid to late 90's mainstream music. (restricted) |

So do you guys stick with cow milk, or have you switched over to something else?

I don't think I'll ever give up dairy completely, but dropping dairy milk sounds like it can only be a good thing in many cases. Even the calcium you supposedly get from it isn't even good calcium, and not balanced out with the magnesium or something. More interesting is hearing how this can contribute a lot to allergies apparently. So this is my first week back off of it and I tried some of the popular alternatives again, coconut, almond, and soy. Soy doesn't sound all that great now either... especially for men, lol. I didn't even like it though and also used it to mix with some alfredo, egh that ruined it. But basically it boils down to my ass exploding and feeling bloated/cramps after a bowl of cereal, or glass of milk, etc... so that sums it up. Figure I'll jump on with the other stuff and stick with it to see how I feel. So far I like coconut a lot, that one sat with my stomach perfectly, though it was kind of watery (got the So Delicious brand). Sweetened Almond Breeze wasn't bad either. So I might stick with coconut for cereal, and try some other stuff around to see if there's good alternative chocolate milks since that's my favorite thing ever. I hear some of the non-dairy ice creams can actually be really good too. Might have to look into that sometime if I hit up Trader Joe's / organic stores or something. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
