Yakuza 4 is amazing. Yeah, I'm a little behind... excited to hit up Yakuza 0 sometime soon I hope!

Ugh, super sick. But I'm glad I remembered Zinc this time. I've been taking Zinc, D3, and Vitamin C at night, then drink some warm water with ACV and honey in the morning. I seem to be fighting off symptoms a lot better than last time.
Started as a sore throat, which has kind of gone away now. But then the fever and chills hit. Now my head just feels really heavy and dizzy, I'm ultra stuffy and can't breath well either. Sick just in time for my weekend! I got a lot of sleep last night... but it was really sporadic and odd broken up hours. It's 12:35am as I'm typing this which is pretty late for me thesedays. Hope I can sleep tonight. I honestly think something is funked up with this apartment. Ever since I've lived here these past few years, I've been getting ear/sinus infections 2-3 times a year and more than that one bad flu case a year or so. Allergies have been way worse too. I think it does have a mold problem and my hoarder roommate probably doesn't help, he hasn't cleaned his room once in four years and I wonder if that nastiness seeps through. Well... I'm moving in March. Hope the new environment does change things for the better. (Last edited by Xeoman on 01-29-17 01:38 AM) |

Horizon looks so epic. I'm weary about Mass Effect for some reason, it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Luckily, I think when you get to FF4 and on, I'd say the series is honestly varied enough to consistently be interesting and different. But maybe I'm a fanboy.
I have beaten FF1-10, 13, 13-2, and 15. FF1 - PSX, GBA, and PSP versions. I can't really stomach the chunky original. FF2 - PSP version, more refined and balanced than the GBA version FF3 - NES, yeah I emulated this one and it was extremely hardcore. Felt like a boss beating it. FF4 - One of my favorites, I have beaten the hard type PSX version, SNES, GBA, and PSP remake FF5 - GBA version, way better translation than the crappy PSX Anthology version FF6 - SNES and PSX Anthology I really enjoyed FF12 but never beat it. Couldn't stomach much of Lightening Returns. I don't like the look of the 3D remakes for 3-4 so I haven't bothered with those. My favorites are FF4-FF7. |

Yeah I couldn't get into The After Years myself. All the separate stories and stuff was pretty boring and disjointed.
Just know that the jokes about FF13's 20-30 hour tutorial is real. But the combat is pretty awesome to me when you finally have access to everything. 13-2 fixes it by... letting you do whatever you want with it from the start, who would have thought... lol. |

Two weeks later and it already feels like I'm getting another cold!
I think stress and moving soon has something to do with all this... |

Wow, only 20 hours for Lufia 2? I never beat it, but it was pretty cool.

Haha dude, no worries about the later Final Fantasies. Yeah, they have some long final dungeons... but FF3 was absolutely insane. I emulated it (obviously) and so I could keep track of the time better, I'm pretty positive it took me a solid 10 hours to beat those final dungeon(s) alone. It was so hilarious, there was a dungeon to get to another dungeon to get to the final dungeon which was made up of 3-4 different sections each the size of a separate stand alone dungeon. Insanity. Felt like a boss beating the game after all that.

Overkill! haha, did you go for the Ninja classes? Or whatever secret class it was at the bottom level. I got those and it was mostly a cake walk from there.

Glad you're doing PSP for FF4. I don't like the 3D look of DS FF3 and FF4. The PSP version is awesome though, but rather easy. Unfortunately it had the ATB bug that plagued the GBA version too. Ah well. You should check out the PSX Chronicles hard type version sometime too. I thought the art style was really cool and still pretty classy, wish FF3 and FF5 would have gotten that PSP remake treatment too. (restricted) |

Lots of overtime lately, my roommate still hasn't found a place, and the stress of moving in a few weeks has been boiling up. Phew! Crazy times. |

Nope... I already signed a one bedroom apartment and all. Out of my hands. He's been that friend that's kind of latched on too much over the last decade or so. It got to the point where people were group texting us and we had mostly the same circle of friends. I am so ready to break free and have my own space and life again. lol
|
Not like I'd allow him to end up on the streets or anything crazy, but his dad has a place he could move in with if he doesn't find anything. Wedding's don't sound fun at all. (restricted) |

I still need to try the Pie 5 that went up here recently. I guess it's like Chipotle but with pizza. |

I love how you can't mess around with Zeromus. You should play the hard type PSX Chronicles version sometime. That said I found to be really easy to grind in the final dungeon, the old trick of killing off characters since exp was shared... so you could beef them up quicker one by one. I think I just powered up Cecil to SSJ status and managed. lol |
