I agree Rose could have been a lot better. That whole arc just seemed pointless (if only Poe was told about the plan). Finn was like the one character I felt was the most consistent, but it's too bad everything going on around him was pretty dumb. And did anyone else feel like the anti animal cruelty message was pushed pretty hard? So they freed the animals... and not the child slaves. Kind of funny. I wish I could get into Kylo and Rey like you guys and others. I liked Rey a lot in TFA, but here not at all. Kylo was better, but him together with now Nazi Clown Hux, how am I supposed to be intimated by the First Order with these two calling the shots? Like you said Elara, Rey and Kylo's shift makes no sense. Let's not forget that only mere days separate the events from TFA and TLJ. Days ago she see's Kylo kill his own father, but now she's getting a little blushed seeing him without a shirt and wants to be buddies. Just doesn't seem believable. As a fan of big expansive worlds, imagination, and sci-fi, it really bothers me that this entire movie was basically just like one day of content with two ships at a standstill in space and that's literally about it. The scope of this movie feels so minuscule compared to all the others. This is really Snoke's ship and the leading crew of the Resistance? WTF. The action in Rogue One was 10x better and bigger in scope. |

| I'd have to double check when and where how the progression there with Luke goes, but he does see his home and aunt and uncle burned to death. So he lost everything, putting stock in faith overnight from those dire circumstances seems believable.
I can give it this, TLJ is certainly better than Star Trek Into Darkness haha. Which makes me worry even more about Episode 9 when I remember just how unbalanced JJ can be. Frankly I don't even think he's that great in general. Disney seems afraid to let established veteran directors tackle Star Wars. |

Been out of it and not too happy lately, other than getting in some gaming and whatnot. Something is up with my neck. Seeing the doctor on Monday so I hope I get answers and it's not too bad. Feels like serious inflammation, maybe a goiter or something really bothering the left side, pain and discomfort radiates down across the left of my chest and up through my jaw on the left side... it's really annoying. |

Put yourself first Rogue, these people have never sounded worth it. I had trouble leaving some jobs in the past because of holding on too hard but things turned around once I finally went out of my comfort zones again. This month marks my two year anniversary at Quest and it's the best job I've ever had.

I had an ultrasound done on my neck a few weeks back and nothing came up, which is good... but I still don't know what the hell is going on. I finally started taking some Tylenol and it's helped a lot with my neck and face tension, blurred vision, etc, now I'm noticing all the pain seems to stem from my left shoulder and arm. I'm seeing my doctor again this Monday and hoping for X-Rays and maybe an MRI. I've been hiding this chronic pain too well for years now but this is the worst it's been in ages, it doesn't matter what I eat, if and when I workout or do yoga, or how well I sleep, the symptoms are so random and happen pretty much everyday. Really hope I can figure something out. There's no way this is some mental BS and my imagination... I've dealt with a lot of anxiety or depression off and on throughout my 20's but mentally have learned so much and gotten strong, yet you can only do so much when there's real chronic physical pain. I think all these years I focused too much on my neck and maybe it's been my shoulder. Hope I get some answers.

Good call Elara, I've been stumbling into information on Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which sounds like what you're saying with the rib. Was he feeling tension/tightness and discomfort like right under the collar bone? I've noticed it lately myself. Then the pain is a bit on the top of my shoulders, down the shoulder blade a bit, and weird sharp pain and tingles go down my arm, even down to my hand at times.

I saw the doctor today and was a bit annoyed, she wants to put me on some muscle relaxant to sleep with and then do physical therapy for about a month or something. I tried to insist on just getting x-rays and or an MRI right away, but I guess I have to go through these hoops. Try this crap out and if it does nothing then we can go that route... I mean god forbid I've only been doing yoga and other things for years now, I don't think physical therapy is going to fix crap for long term... (Last edited by Xeoman on 03-19-18 11:05 PM)

Yeah I'm about a month and a half into the physical therapy and sure I feel better than I did a month ago, but I can tell this is only putting a bandaid over things. I personally don't like chiropractors, I spent four years with two doctors many years ago and it never gave me long lasting relief and just drained me of hundreds of dollars. DDP Yoga helped me far more than that ever did. I saw that there's actually a decent looking stem cells place around here locally, I might look into that. Already checked with my insurance and of course they don't cover that, but oh well. I've heard a bunch about it on some podcasts and it seems fascinating.

But yeah probably going to drop this doctor, not a fan so far. It's just a pain in the ass... literally took me like a few hours to get the first appointment with her when I was looking into that one weekend. Have to cross reference reviews with doctors on the net, then check with my insurance if they're in network, and then see if they're even taking new patients and most of the good ones I tried of course weren't... or were not free until months out. WTF our medical system sucks.

I agree on Fallout 76... it looks gorgeous but I don't want to play online and the nuke thing seems pretty weird.

My favorite reveals were Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5! Sekiro Shadows Die Twice should be amazing. Cyberpunk 2077 sounds incredible. Doom Eternal, Prey DLC, Dying Light 2, Control, Last of Us 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, Nioh 2, Mega Man 11, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, I'm going to need a second savings for 2019. Biggest disappointment was no Metroid Prime 4 or Bayonetta 3! Also across all the podcasts and news I'm keeping up with, barely anyone is talking about Anthem. I fear it might be the end of Bioware if it flops... it looks like a Destiny knockoff to me and I have no interest in it. EA's been horrendous this gen and it's a shame Bioware is trapped under them.

That got me thinking, I kind of wish Microsoft could have bought Bioware back in the day. Since MS helped publish the first Mass Effect actually, it took years to pop up on the PS3. I haven't bothered to get an Xbox One yet and maybe never will, but I think MS would have given Bioware a lot of free reign and backing.

I'm just pissed EA closed Visceral of Dead Space fame and cancelled their Star Wars game... only to buy Respawn to start a new Star Wars game. WTF?

No other scans since I kind of gave up on that doctor. She seemed like she wanted to do everything to avoid simple X-Rays for whatever reason. |
I went through three physical therapists too which was annoying. I'm not sure if that's normal or not? The first woman I saw I liked the most and she seemed to have some good ideas about my C5 area being messed up. But then she had to leave to take cake care of a child or something like that. The other woman I saw was okay but didn't seem nearly as good or thoughtful. Then they gave me this old dude I didn't like much at all and he even called in sick during one of my appointments, they called me ahead of time which was nice at least... but I've never had something like that happen before. The whole experience was kind of weird. I just gave up on them. Great timing for my bed to have some dip in it too and it's only a few years old! My back was killing me these last few weeks/months. So that's really annoying. I tried rotating it which gave me a few good days again but the dip in the middle appeared again. Even though the box spring seems to be in good shape. For now I put a folded up thin blanket under the dipping spot and that seems to help. And my apartment is having some carpet beetles again... this happened last year and I don't want to deal with that crap again. More spiders popping up too.
