Yeah, Wahtang? Something like that, but yeah he's easily one of my favorites too. I also like the Samurai, and Rouge.

Hmm, I might watch Episode II tonight I guess, but I'd probably pop in the DVD instead of watching it on TV (commercials ).
Truthfully though, Episode III just makes me want to go back and watch IV-VI since it ties in with them so well.

But for the summer, I'll probably be working a lot. I have a few lawns I'm mowing for easy $20 a piece, but I also plan on actually getting employed someplace, so I'll probably keep that lawn money.  (I need to save a ton for a car, and I'd like to actually get a decent one).
That's basically it, I guess.
Maybe I'll go to Chicago, our family usually does every year to visit some of our relatives.

Well, I don't really define music by there lyrics personally, I look more at the style. Progessive Metal is upbeat and somewhat fast paced. Stratovarius is a good example. Power Metal, in my opinion, is faster, and usually has somethng Progressive Metal doesn't; double bass drumming. Then you can add Symphonic onto these and have kind of a "sub genre". Anyways, I kind of look at Power Metal as a descendent of Thrash. If you ask me, the styles are somewhat similar. Power is just more recent, and probably a little faster and more upbeat. I guess some people say bands like Gun's N' Roses are regular Metal, but I'm personally not sure about that. To me, they're more just like Heavy Rock or something else. I'd say Iron Maiden is regular Heavy Metal. Edit: For the record, I've come to like Rhapsody even more than Edguy now. (Last edited by The Emperor on 05-22-05 05:00 PM)

This thread is uneccessary. You're free to have your own opinion on this place, and from what I've seen X Marks The Spot a lot of members agree with you. A reason? No. Not one I have seen. But with members like you who'll keep on going on and on about this place "not being what it used to be", get over it. Keep that up, and it truly will always be the "same", for yourself. We've been getting a lot of new members lately, if you haven't noticed. Yes the board was very unactive for sometime, because of school, and other conflicts. But now activity is starting to pick up. New people are joining, and summer's here, people are out of school, etc. I understand the board is nothing that should be a person's life, so why have such a negative attitude about it's stance? I personally think the activity could have been better within the last couple of months, compared to what it used to be, but it's starting to get back on it's feet if you ask me. People will leave. Members will stop posting. Members will groan about flaws in the board. It's the nature of a messageboard, and nothing I, and anyone else can stop, unless we all had a positive stance on this [in an ideal world]. This thread is useless in my opinion, if you wish to leave, not post anymore, or so have you, and seriously want to make it KNOWN (like everyone else on messageboards that leaves, there usually has to be drama) put your thoughts in your bio, and so be it. Thus, I am closing this thread. If you honestly feel this way about the board, I do feel sorry for you. If any other member of staff would like to add anything else, you may do so.
