| Maybe I'll use the good version of yourself, but If there are no more people wanting to be good guys then probably not the evil shadow self... there are too many evil guys at the moment with only three goodies. Also from now on, please PM me any requests for the game
Update Characters: Goodies: Grey Fox, Kaijin and Jaques Baddies: Pretty much everyone else from down below this post I have nearly finished the outside of Xeo's caste and am starting on the jail Kaijin starts in (You start off in jail and have to escape at first). Then there is a long cutscene where you run off with two imperial guards chasing after you. They eventually catch up and you have to battle them. They are rather easy (well they have to for the first battle). If you lose the fight you go back to jail and have to start again. When you make it to the first town you meet up with Jaques (I havent figured out how yet) and he joins your party. I'm thinking he comes in not to far after you entering the village, he is wounded from a battle further ahead and you have to help him destroy the first boss, after getting through the dungeon. That is about as far into the story I can go at the moment. If there is any further news I will keep you updated. EDIT UPDATE I have the first screen shot of the game: OUTSIDE XEO'S CASTLE

| Well IF you're talking about being able to play MP3s, Videos, veiw pictures etc. on the PSP and the DS can't do that, there is this thing in japan. It is a gba cartridge but it has a little slot to put an SD card in so you can view pictures/videos/mp3s. Yeah right it IS a gba cart but at least DS can still play them | |||

*Ryan carries on down the second path and comes to what looked like an air vent. several people where walking around normally inside it. Ryan kicks the vent down and jumps in, immediatly recognising the people being yet more zombies. He takes his pistols out and fires a few shots, killing 4 zombies, then running out of ammo. He takes his sword out and slashes a few more before climbing back up the vent, getting scratched by one monster down his leg. He also realises that his rucksack is on a zombie's back* "Damn" |

| wow... my first sticky thread...
anyway, i've got a couple more pics of the castle, mainly around the outside and the jail cells where you start off and escape from. I'm still currently trying to make some sprites of Kaijin, Grey and Jaques but am currently using inbuilt ones for testing so this will be why the characters look wrong. Full outside the castle:

I haven't manged to get much work into it because of homework and such. What sort of cameo would you want Cairoi? Party? bad guy (like everyone else)? Random NPC? |

| Bear in mind it doesn't have the effects from the fog etc. and it is still incomplete... only trouble is I'm currently trying to make one giant chipset with all of RMXP's basic set... when I do that I can put iron bars in. I'll get an in game pic soon aftre i've finished it | |||

| that sounds cool... that also explains why kaijin would be in the jail in the first place too
and for the opst about 2 posts above, I have already said it is still incomplete, the effects of fog and such aren't in there because it isn't an in-game shot, and I have other stuff I need to do besides the game like homework etc. (Last edited by RYjet911 on 03-17-05 02:08 PM) |

I'm currently setting up a site on this development thingy on lateralshift.net. There will be updates there but I will keep current here too. I've got about 1/5 of the tilesets together so maybe the castle can get a bit more evil. There are also now four maps, two main ones and two sub maps: - Xeogred's Castle - Jail Cells - Throne room - Plains Continuing from the original creators post, I think that story is great, and that will be used (maybe with some minor tweaks and adjustments). I MIGHT put a part for Jaques to get his dragon powers, like in a story of him, he fights the dragon and after killing it he gets dragon powers *End of Update Report* Also, just need to get an opinion... should I include a caterpilla script? so the characters follow the main one in the party?
