| Jack Dreddin paced in his office many miles away, thinking. He currently had a well working, powerful army. He had no shards himself, he needed none. He was a politician, a leader. He personally needed none, and simply gave it, or a copy, to his soldiers.
He listened on his radio to his chief general, Brad Desin. "All troops are in postition for our latest movement. We'll proceed when they appear unprepared, and there is the least chance of collateral damage. Permission to use deadly force?" "Permission granted, Brad. Thanks for doing this, tell me when you're ready." "No thanks needed, Jack. You know I'm with you all the way. | Over Erick's radio a quite message was sent, "Hold your ground, don't move yet." came Brad Desin. "Fan out and surround them, if the gang tries to leave, let them, unless they have our target with them."
Desin held his magnum pointing towards the group, "Don't move in until I fire the first shot." Desin was tense, they had more soldiers than anyone else yet there was still something dangerous about this, everything had to be perfect, and with these bikers now in the equation, things might get a bit more difficult. Once his soldiers fanned out, surrounding the group, he spoke into the radio. "Move in, stay under cover for as long as possible, and try not to shoot until abosolutely neccesary." |

| OOC: The real question is, how are you able to move faster than the speed of light without a single problem? The air in the atmostphere should be tearing you apart...
IC: Alex smiled, and his energy suddenly reversed. As Kajin's attack was moving with Alex's, it should also be pulled along. If not, Alex merely takes a step backwards, going just out of range. "That's what I love about mental attacks. You can't use them against me, and seeing as how they are all me, I can do what I want with them. As for now, you shall die." Alex's charged attack was prepared. The first thing he had charged was shield, the second, a basic nuclear bomb. If one were to split an atom, the resulting force would be extreme, along with the radiation. That is basically what a nuclear bomb is, splitting an atom to cause a massive explosion and great radiation. Alex had been able to concentrate hard enough, so that with a bit of telekenesis, and a bit of charging, he simply split an atom, and as he had already reached that level of concentration, he split threee others with it. This explosion should be deadly, and should destroy anything within several miles. Kajin was fact, but no mortal could move that fast, and as Kaijin hadn't started charging a shield, blocking would be nearly impossible. Alex himself, had spent two extra posts charing a shield to defend himself. A helmet also eppeared, covering Alex's face. He was protected by lead armor, all over his body. He did have some things under that suit, and just now was it clear that he was wearing gloves. However, this was but the begining of Alex's attack. A distraction mostly. Alex concentrated on Kaijin's brain, and attempted to erase the mind. Most people in the world were not aware of the place in the mind in which Alex struck, and as such, a shield was nearly impossible. Alex's mind was strong enough to batter through most creature's, even vampire's, mind without a second thought, but as he went through the other place, Alex should succeed. If this works, Alex would erase the mind completely, one simply strike, and then it is all gone. Memory, personality, motor funtions, everything. The body would merely be a dead shell, with nothing in it. Alex's attack would ordinarilly not even show itself until it had already entered the mind, and it was too late to do anything, and with the distraction of a nuclear bomb coming first, Kaijin should have no way to know what was happening until it was too late, although just the nuclear bomb would have the potential to kill him. |

| What's interesting, is that only a little bit before I looked at this article, I had watched the Mummy Returns and wondered if there was going to be a sequel. Guess so.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I like the Mummy a lot, and like The Mummy Returns more. While I disliked the Scorpion King, hopefully the Mummy 3 will be good. |

| The men stood from cover, surrounding Leon, Zaku, Edgar, and the rest and one of the soldiers shouted out, "Freeze, drop the shards, your weapons, and everytihng else, and you won;t get hurt!"
Only a few soldiers stood, most of them staying under cover, prepared for a fight. Desin himself stayed under cover, aiming his magnum at Don and Leon. "One false move, and all of you will be pumped full of lead so fast that you won't even realize you've been shot." |

| Desin smiled. Leon wasn't nearly as intelligent as he may have thought.
Quickly he moved his arms, and hit the gun from above. If he is hit, he will stagger back, but then smiled, and activated his own shard, and energy one, mostly effecting kenitic energy. It would stop bullets as they fly, and cause it to drop to the ground. He smiled, "Kevlar armor, ordinarily I don't need it, but it is useful at times." Many of his soldiers suddenly stood up, with at least ten guns pointed at Leon, and seven pointed at Don. Desin himself had a magnum leveled at the uncoinscious Eric. "First one to move killed Don." he said, "or kills himself when he jumps in front of the bullet. We can walk out of this alive if you give me the shard." Honestly though, Red Steel looks good. Gamespot has approved fo it, some IGN editors liked it, and if only because it's the first shooter coming out, I'll end up getting it. By the way, what about Prject H.A.M.M.E.R.? That looks interesting enough, if with a somewhat stupid idea. |

| As soon as the flames appeared, they disappeared. Had Barrek kept hold of them they would have caused problems, but as it was, Desin, with his energy shard, was able to quickly get rid of the flames. "Cover me!" he shouted, and ran towards Barrek and Eric, bullets flying all around them towards Barrek and Eric, they would have to go towards shelter if they wanted to survive.
Aiming as carefully as was possible while running, Desin leveled his pistol, and fired a shot at Don's heart, and another at his head. He kept his promises, especially when they were behind the thin veil of threats. Over fifty men were currently firing at Eric, Don, and Barrek, and of course the fact that these soldiers had actually surrounded the group while under cover meant that bullets were coming from all sides, not just from behind the wall of flames. In addition, Desin used his shard to concentrate on the shard, and used kenetic energy to suddenly pull on the box holding the shard with extreme force. No human hand could resist the pull, which means that the chances of them holding onto the shard were weak, unless they were pulled along with it, in which case they would get shot. ic: Desin thought quickly, these Marinae were agressive, and there was little chance that they would leave this place unharmed. "Allright men, load up, now! We meet as location epsilon. No leaving until your buggy is full unless we know there is an immenint threat. These bombs won't be able to destroy more than ten yards around each. Go, go, go!" All hte men quickly rushed into buggies. Alright, so that would be the last of them. Just in case, he shouted into the camp, "Anyone who needs a ride we'll be happy to give it to them. You have until the count of three to get over here!" Desin smiled, he had come prepared. Two stealthed robotic probes(ooc: they're in development now, by 2013, they will exist in ar) had followed the helicopter. He radioed his fighter squadron. "Squadron star, make sure that no fighters come anywhere near us, and squadron ninja, use your stealth bombers, and go after the helicopters. There's no way we're letting them get away!" |

A good poster doesn't restrain himself because of rules, he does because he doesn't want to irritate the staff that will send him on his way. Come to think of it, until five minutes ago, I still didn't know there were any rules. We don't need them, we need intelligence, respect, and peace. Anything that contributes to that is good, anything that does not, is bad. I think I'm probably disagreeing with every single forum policy on the internet here... |

Trillian(for AIM). MSN(yeah, I don't like MSN on Trillian). Skype. At least three MSN conversations. One Trillian conversation window. Around three or four Explorer windows. Three microsoft word documents. And occasionally... Oblivion. I have yet to have it crash, even when I had my old low quality decade old computer. I need to try running Bittorrent too, except that all I've done with that is 3% of RO to play here. I stopped downloading it when I got Oblivion. |

Suddenly he slapped the ground, hard. This should result in a shockwave being thrown towards Wolverine, a tremor in the earth. If wolverine should jump, Blonsky would throw the tree at him with extreme accuracy, regardless of what position Logan gets in when he jumps, and as Logan would be in the air, he would be hit. If the ground his Logan, then more than likely he would recieve flesh damage, and would break his bones were it not for the adamantium skeleton. |
