| Unless Cairoi and Xeios tell me I'm wrong...photos are misleading. I actually haven't changed much...well, I dunno. If I posted stuff from when I was a little kid, people are like "You still have your same face!"
**shrugs** But um...btw, my hair is too straight, and I refuse to cut my hair dramatically short, so the layers don't look different. It's just easier to curl and makes it look fuller. **shrugs** XD Also must point out...was 15 in the old pic...gonna be 20 in a few months...  Yay! I finally look like a typical 15 year old!

| Holly did as she was told. She allowed the new commotion to camouflage her journey back to the helicopter. Once she made it safely, she frantically searched for the gun Seifer had given her. She hadn't been searching hard before the weapon's luster caught her eye.
"There." She announced to herself. She made her way back to the helicopter's enterance, watching the scene. It was dumb enough that she threw away her shard so easily. However, now, for the first time, Holly harbored an extreme anomosity toward her mother, cursing the woman under her breath for leaving such a dangerous article with her. She held the gun steadily and ready to use. This time she was ready to act when they needed her. She didn't even flinch at the appearance of Jack. Eric had been hurt. Her father; hurt. Seifer and Brad took heavy blows even. She trusted their strength, but she knew they would need time to bounce back. Slowly, she made her way back onto the scene, ducking behind the mounds of snow and debris along the way, to keep from being seen. When Jack took his saftey off of the gun, she prepared herself to stop him, but before she had done anything, Jack backed down. She still didn't trust him. She was close enough to hear their words, and upon hearing Jack speak, she had no reason to believe that he had anything other than a selfish purpose in mind. She remained still, gun pointed, watching Jack's hand. If he made one wrong move with his hand, she was ready to fire the weapon out of his grasp. |

| "Hmmm..." Nina's voice could be heard once again.
She tilted her head for a moment, looking at Mr. Nathaniel. She sighed, her body relaxing by a fraction. "Then...they won't kill him...nor can they do much harm to Eddie yet..." She said. "If he has something that they want..." She paused and glanced around at everyone. "We have time to find him before they hurt him...right?" It was as though Nina hadn't heard the talk of power, and the possibility of there being more powerful people out there. It was something that was beyond her head for the moment and not something she was too concerned with. She knew, that if these powers were such an issue, she and Eddie would have plenty of time to sort that out once she got him back safely. "But what I don't understand is..." Her temper suddenly was rising and she rose to her feet. "Is how this fucking school let total strangers just take him away!" She slammed her fist into the desk. "Even if they had enough documentation...they can't...they can't just let people walk out with him! Wouldn't they need a lawyer with them or something? If they were there, claiming to be family...how can they snatch him up from a school?!" |

| She still kept her gun pointed toward Jack, but Josiah was naturally within eyesight. She could hear them. She knew, that once Josiah found no more use for Jack, whether it be for a specific purpose or Josiah was simply done playing his game, Josiah would have no problem getting rid of Jack.
Protect Brad... she thought to herself. He was still in possession of the shard. |

| Nina slouched, defeated. Nathaniel was right. Since they did not have much information, it was a 50/50 chance that Eddie would be kept safe for the time being.
However, when Alyssa spoke up, Nina's attention diverted toward her. "Excellent idea!" she exclaimed. "But..." She glanced around the classroom. "Mr. Nathaniel, could you maybe get Miss Isiadore into the principal's office? If they were posing as family, they must have had to meet in the office...correct?" |

I see Christrian Bale as more of a Leon-ish character...but that may be a bit of a personal bias. I kinda see a bit of an older version of Chris in Leon...and...well, Chris IS Christian Bale. I'm sure Cairoi can back me on this one.  He just reminds me so much of him.  |

| After she fired the weapon, Holly found herself to be trembling on the inside. She had seen many weapons fired and had fired a few herself, but it was the first time she truly had to use it on someone else. However, after being raised on a Marinae base, Holly was far from having terrible aim. There was a deep dent in the snow, where the bullet had landed, just inches from Jack's left boot.
She stood, arms stretched out, weapon between her laced fingers. Ready to fire again. Now, she was pointing it toward Josiah. "If you help this bastard..." Holly's icy voice boomed. "He'll kill you without remorse. You have nothing to gain Jack." Despite her inside trembling, Holly's voice was strong, her posture calm. However, her blue gaze never left Josiah. At this point, there was nothing to lose. If Jack sided with Josiah, with everyone else out of it, they would all be defeated anyway. Jack was their only chance for the moment. The gun clicked, ready to be fired again. "You will get no warning shot, Josiah." |

| Holly looked up at Seifer as he appeared beside her. Usually she would smile. This time she glared. "You need to lie low as long as you can...you're hurt..." She managed to mumble, but knew he wasn't listening. When he lunged for Josiah, she gasped, but it was too late.
Seifer had already made his attack. Josiah had already deflected it and was now on his way up toward his machine. She couldn't help but flinch as she glanced around at the chaos Josiah left behind. Some were still encased in the stone. Brad was clutching his head, and Seifer had sustained an injury far worse than ever so far. She didn't even bother cursing up at Josiah. She didn't even think about her next action. Instinct simply put her at Seifer's side. She was crouched down beside him, hands trembling. She didn't know what to do for him... |

Holly shuddered as Josiah activated his machine. She looked over at Alden, who had gone paler than the dead. Her resentment toward him faded and for the first time, Holly felt horrible for him. Slowly, she rose to her feet. At this point, there was nothing they could do. She didn't need to stray far from Seifer to be standing next to Alden. Gently, she reached up and placed a hand on his shoulder. When he looked down, she smiled softly. After a few seconds of locking eyes with Alden, Holly made her way back to Seifer's side. She cringed as the wave passed over. Eric's cry of pain ran right through her and she wanted nothing more than to make it stop. Her soft spot for the man continued, even while facing death. Then, the battle begun. Holly looked up toward the sky and smiled, mouthing the word "Leon." She looked back down at Seifer and grinned. Everything would be okay. As the battle progressed, she couldn't look any longer. Gently, she leaned her forehead on Seifer, and closed her eyes until it was over. When everybody else rushed toward the puff of smoke, it wasn't until she could head the sighs of relief did she look. A smile pressed across her lips as the figure became clearer and she could see Leon between the crowd around him. |

Name: Kara Winchester Age: 22 Birthplace: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Country of Residence: United States Appearance: Chestnut brown hair, straight and layered, resting about her shoulders. Pale skin, brown eyes, and brown freckles sprinkled across the bridge of her nose. Thinly framed, but not unhealthy. Stands at about five feet even, but is more often than not, seen in a pair of three inch heels. Her style depends on the moment. While in the office or out in the city, blouces, stockings, and skirts are the norm. While at school or on her days off, she is not afraid to be caught in public doning her sweatpants and hoodies. Background: Kara was brought up in a wealthy family. Her father was in charge of a local college's law school department and her mother, much younger than her father and a former student of said law school, a prestigious lawyer. Despite the money and success, both Kara's mother and father weren't as fortunate to have been brought up in such a family. When Kara's mother had gone into labor, her father had received a phone call from his brother, stating that his wife had gone in to have her baby, a month earlier than the original due date. The family now jokingly considers Brian and Kara to be "Irish twins", despite the fact that they come from different parents. Kara and Brian are both the only children their parents had, and their other cousins are either much younger or much older. As a result, the pair were raised together, bonded, and became inseperable. | Holly looked up at Brad as he made his way over to the pair. She smiled and nodded. She was at a loss for words. Now that it was all over, even though she had managed to be the only one to come through completely unscathed, Holly was shaken up on the outside, as well as the inside.
Slowly, she glanced around. Every one was hurt somehow, some worse than others...Alden and Jack seemed to be in good shape, but she was sure that things would hit them later, but everyone was alive, and for that, Holly was grateful. As Leon finally spoke, she smiled as she listened. Then, Seifer began stirring. Despite his injuries, she did not stop him. It would do more harm to him if he didn't at least sit up to speak to Leon, than it would if he didn't. She scooted over slightly, to give him room to move. As he propped himself up, Holly moved closer again, leaning gently, so that he could have something to lean on, other than his own strength. She kept her eyes down to the snow, not wanting to look up at Leon. She grew attachments to each person there, perhaps even Alden, and re-attaching herself to her father. Leon died once, and he was already speaking of leaving again; but it was Seifer she worried most about. Edgar had already passed. Leon was another close comrade of his... "The Phantom Shards..." She mumbled. Holly cringed, recalling the day she ran away...when she met Josiah and agreed to search for the Phantom Shards with him. I was lucky... she thought ruefully. He never harmed me physically...even now... she thought as she realized that if they weren't dead, everyone else had been crushed, shocked, thrown about...part of her was grateful to the others for helping to keep her safe, even Brad, who had offered protection while she was at the E'shyum base...and especially Seifer...but another side of her was displeased with herself. If she hadn't gotten in the way, perhaps some of the injuries could have been avoided...or perhaps Holly could have been able to help them at least... Finally, she looked up at Leon, a sly grin slowly creeping across her lips. Some time spent in thought would cure her of her regret. She would not pity herself. "So you get to stay long enough to find these suckers?" She asked, playfully. |

| Even though she spoke to Leon, her eyes were on Seifer as he struggled to hide what was already obvious to her. She smirked, knowing what it was like in his position. Despite the physical pain he was causing himself, Holly didn't budge as he moved. Physical damage will heal before the pride does...that was the way she had always felt at least.
However, when he dropped to his knees again, Holly fell right beside him, speaking to him in a stern voice. "Okay, I let you go for a little while. No more being dumb." She placed a finger gently on his chest. "You're not allowed to move until we can get help." She then tilted her head upward to peer at Leon through her dark, mangled hair. "So you're not..." She shook her head. "The Phantom Shards need to be destroyed...how long will it take to find them? We need to get everyone back..." She sighed, looking over at Jack. "We're the only ones who are not injured..." |

| Nina sat quietly, as she and her teacher waited. She looked up at him, opened her mouth to speak, but he had already beaten her to it.
When ordered to hide, she obeyed, which was out of her usual character. However, while proud, Nina wasn't stupid. They had been talking of powers. Something way out of Nina's reach and not something she was in any position to stand up against. When she crouched beneath the desk, she peered up from beneath the desk to see what was going on. Quickly, her hands flew to her mouth to stifle her gasp as the intruder fought with Mr. Nathaniel. She bit her tongue, until a duplicate was made. Her teacher was being teamed up on. "STOP IT!" She shouted, fists clenched, as she jumped to her feet. Immediately, Nina knew she had made a mistake, but it was too late, and she was prepared to jump on one someone if need be. |
