| Dude, that's fucked up.
I really don't understand why Paganism is attacked the way it is. I have an understanding and acceptance of it's practices (at least I try to understand it, I hear so many different and conflicting aspects, it confuses me sometimes)....and I'm not even Pagan! Grant it, I don't know what I am anymore, but still... And for the record, I wholeheartedly believe in that stuff...it's religion, not hocus pocus...I have some very good friends who are Pagan...and there are plenty of times they've helped me cope with shit with their beliefs. It's a very peaceful and beautiful thing and your co-workers need to get beat up. I really wish your job wouldn't be at stake....would be nice to mess with people. |

Fact is, not that I should be having babies right now, but, figure last year when I miscarried, I was 20, and though not in the perfect situation, I was in a physical and mental state of well-being. It wouldn't have been easy, but I would have been fine. Again, I'm not perfect myself....I guess it's not the problems of my family that set me off, it's the fact that they can't handle them, and they're oh so good at creating more. |

That's another thing that kinda sucks...I mean, I haven't read anything on it or anything. It's just that...the ending was very open ended. They made Christopher seem honorable, so I could see them making another solely on the basis that Christopher has a promise to keep... ...but anyway...good movies like this seem to be destroyed in their sequels...like...why? Work. Work. And more work. Although, I baked lots and lots today, because I can't afford gifts this year. So, a friend of mine came over, and he was my kitchen bitch for the day.
Otherwise, yeah...doesn't even feel like Christmas this year. Just like another day at most...and yet somehow, I like it. I'm not stressed this year. It's a bad year for everyone of my family and friends...and...with few exceptions, I like it. No one's at each other's throats or being really competitive and nasty. My sisters all brought home dinner for my friend and I and sat down and ate with us, and we all got along. It's just nice. **shrugs** |

| Worked 12 hours today, but I scored off for New Year's Day, so that's good.
Got some necessities, and a hundred bucks, collectively. Like the Boss says, free is free, so I was stoked.
Worked a 19 hour day Christmas Eve. (Yup, that's right, was in 7am sharp, and didn't get outta there 'til 1am.) but, it was fun. We were only open 7-7, so after cleanup, which wasn't finished until about 10:30, it was marketing and having a few beers with the boss and District Manager. **shrugs** So it wasn't too bad and I was paid. And, yeah, I had a white Christmas alright. Over two freaking feet of snow! We're used to snow, but not like this. Snow is still that thing where three or four inches is like "ZOMG, it's fucking snowing!!!" and school are closed and shit. **shrugs** BUT, I ended up having fun. I whitewashed the shit outta my nephew coming home from school one day. For those who don't know what whitewashing is, or who call it something different, I'm talking about tackling someone, rubbing their faces in the snow, burrying them, dumping them...basically kicking the shit outta someone, only in the snow, and with snow. **shrugs** It can be quite barbaric, as my nephew refered to it as. Haha. And then, when my brother-in-law tried getting me, one of my not so tiny friends got him instead. So...payback? Heh, my brother and nephew got up an hour before I had to leave for work, were outside digging and making sure the snow pile was soft and not freezing, since it was mostly becoming ice by this point, my brother grabs me as I walk out the door, drops me in the pile, I immediately sink to the bottom, and he and my nephew both respectively sit on me until I can't get up anymore as they burried me. They got me good. I seriously couldn't breathe, and the snow was so heavy I couldn't get up. But they got me out right away, so in hindsight, it was quite hilarious. |

| Hey guys...posting here to let y'all know that I am most definitely in. I am coming to the end of a pretty difficult week, so I won't have the time to really do anything here until this weekend. Mostlikely Saturday, being as I somehow scored the day off. **shrugs**
I do have a few questions though, prolly not gonna remember to ask 'em all right now, but..are you expecting us to each come up with our own race to protray? I'm thinking you want this world to be big, so I'm intending to come up with a thing ot two myself, but as far as character, I wouldn't mind playing a muse, water elemental (A, water is my favorite, and b, it's like Xei said, similar to the Nauticans. While it's a challenge to conjur up something of your own, it's even more of a challenge, to me, to make something very similar turn out differently. So, I'd like to take up that challenge.) Um...lesse...I will come up with more later...gotta get going to work. 
I'm definitely interested...like, something to focus on creatively means a lot to me at the moment, so none of you guys are allowed to back out and not post in this one anymore. Haha. |

| Well...I guess one could say 2009 sucked, but, I dunno. I'm happy, and things are moving forward, so, I suppose that's good.
Was in an art school last year, that I LOVED dearly, but there were extenuating circumstances that made the demanding nature of that school to be impossible to handle, and finally, school in general was utterly impossible. Dealt with family drama as usual. Um...my gramps died. Considering this is "general chat" I'll only express that it effected me quite terribly financially, and leave it at that. Which, the financial hardship of paying the expenses that went uncovered otherwise, wasn't that big of a deal. Worth every penny of it, so I don't mind, and I didn't hesitate to bear the responsibility for my grandpop, but it still put a damper on life in general, so.... HOWEVER!!!!! 2009 ended with lots of promise. I'm kinda in the "waiting" portion, but still. Recent weeks allowed me to find a direction at least. I JUST finished off the grandpa expenses, I'm not paing off a credit card, and then I owe the local Community College $1,500.00. Considering I'm actually awesome with money, I know I'll have all of that paid off by the end of May, at the latest. Soon as I get my W-2, I'ma file FAFSA, and just list the three schools I'm currently chosing from, that way it'll give me a general assumption, three sums for each school pretty much, I'll make my decision by May, that way FAFSA can be finalized and the money distributed before the August payment dates, then this summer, Ima just work my ass off and save money. **shrugs** And those are my goals until September. Then add in school to the mix, minus the three bills I've been stressing over the past few months, and add in less work and more concentration on school, and Ima be all aces. I make enough money at my job now that I can afford to work 20 hours a week and have enough to pay my rent for the month. Moved out by the way. With family friends, but still....I've known them my whole life, lived with them before, so we all know the deal. So, this means I can love my family, and not be directly involved in their antics anymore. Yay!!!
So yeah...I'm pretty much taking this year one pay check at a time, and in the meantime, now have more time for the other things I love. Writing, art, and music. And, while it's no living, when I REALLY need the cash, I've found ways to receive small commissions for those things. **shrugs** All in all, life's not perfect, and it never will be, but I'm still happy. **shrugs** Oh, and fuck that 2012 bull. :p |
