| I only saw some episodes here and there. But I read the entire manga and the one after story featuring that detective lady from the beginning. Misora or whatever?
I liked the Manga. Like Boss, I was a Light fan, so I didn't mind it too much after L. I keep hearing about Durarara!!...what exactly is it about? Personally, I'm back to falling asleep to my DBZ DVDs.

| I don't know if it's because I scheduled ALL of my classes for the same day, or it's because my boss is retarded with scheduling and I have to work more/days that I couldn't originally work.
But FUCK...this is going to be a loooonnnnngggg semester. Basically have to review EVERYTHING from HS math, because I forget so much and am TOTALLY not prepaed for this math course. I have a professor that doesn't speak english too well and doesn't speak up. I mean I can just remedy that by sitting up front, but...plus side, she is a super sweetheart, but seems fair. So Ima have to work my ass off, but at least I don't "hate" this one. Gotta read 265 pages worth of shit for Sociology by Friday. And between both History courses, I'm looking at somewhere near a thousand pages...but luckily they're not "due" til Monday. Oh, and I'm working 12 hours tomorrow. Off on Friday luckily, but another 12 hours on Saturday. So I have to get the majority of my reading in by tonight, and not go to bed tomorrow night into Friday morning, and 'til who knows when.... S'what I get for taking honors shit. The business course, at least, is hybrid. We talk online, but it's mostly a marketing research course, so we only have to meet up like once a month....but still... **dies** And today was the first day. XD |

| I caught as much of it as I could. Was actually intending to find it, as I'm sure there's a recording of it somewhere, after work this evening.
I will say this: People keep saying it sounded like his proposal a few years ago...I say it reminds me more of Roosevelt's New Deal... **shrugs** I dunno. It feels like right now, they're all assholes. And I don't mean that statement like the people I tend to get at least, who know nothing of the world and just say it because it's "cool" to do so. I don't really have much faith in ANY of the people that run this country. And I'm starting to lose faith in my ideals as a democrat. The Tea Party, in my opinion, are making Republicans look bad...and Republican leaders are making them look bad...but I feel like I'm so stuck in the middle, it's making me unsettled. From what I saw, I was both excited AND cynical about the things the President was saying. I think NOW is the time for a "New Deal" sort of mentality. I think this whole "war" of Republican's against Democrats(not that this is a new thing) is stupid. Globalization has taken over. We need a more united front. But the Republican leaders we have now are being big babies. (Notice I'm saying Republican leaders. A lot of the Republicans I know personally, while I don't agree with EVERYTHING....my GOODNESS are they swaying me on their ideals for the business world.) There's a time and place for everything. And I don't agree in big government ALL the time. But I do think, like the President proclaimed, that we need to help each other. We need to look after each other NOW. We're ALL effected by the bull that's going on in Washington, whether some care to see it or not. I'm still not confident enough in my political views to go on a full on rant...but at the same time, I like listening to other people, whether they agree with me or not. It helps point me in at least A direction. |

| Granted, but today, being the ONE day you don't go in when you should, is the day they have a power outage, so you have to kick everyone out, but your bosses say you all need to stay there until it's too dark to see anything, just in case the power goes back on. In which case, it does not, so everyone there at work not only did not lose pay, but they got to get paid doing shit like building forts and throwing things at each other, AND got to leave earlier than usual. (My best day at work...ever.)

People tell me all the time you can only have one best friend...until I show them the pictures of our mother's standing together, all pregnant at the same time, and them holding ity bity baby Timmy and Kim in the pictures, and go "We've been together since."

| Actually...I think sterio-typical nerds are hard to find.
I mean...for starters, people think "gamers" or "nerds" are shy. Pfft. Sir Aileron will tell you. Get me in front of a crowd, and you're mine. I THRIVE on being in front of people. Public speaking, while I'm "normal" enough to say scares me, I love it at the same time. It's like bungee jumping, to me. Something I'm afraid of the moment before every time, but super exhilarating once I'm doing it. Plus, Ails will tell you I'm NOT shy by any means. Nor withdrawn. Just as chatty IRL as you all get the "joys" of witnessing here. (and I could say the same about Ails, actually.) Also, I'm not the best looking thing out there, but I'm hella clean. I look presentable. I'm able to be in other situations and function properly in them, if not actually excel. But NONE of this means I won't own your ass in Gears. Just sayin'. (I was bored enough to type out this mini self-evaluation.) One thing that DOES upset me though, is when people think I'm not able to enjoy the thing I enjoy oh so much (Like video games) and they treat me like I wouldn't know what I'm talking about...yeah...So...don't judge. :p |

And the more bored I am, the more I do it. I just couldn't handle the reputation of being "that" kinda girl, no matter how bored I was. That's the one thing I will probably forever be awkward about...but unless you boys know otherwise, no worries....I haven't found chicks online that are whores AND better at games than you. XD Speaking of games and weaving this in with the topic of boredom...because of games, I only get bored VERY rarely. It's a nice way to live. |
