| Oh my God, Rogue... when I opened this thread and saw the headline of what you posted, I thought you were seriously opposing it. O.O
But, on topic. I never thought of all those arguments before. I have heard people say "If gay marriage is legal, then people will wish to marry their dogs next!" Those are a lot of valid points that I would not have ever thought of. Thank you. Though I do think this belongs in crazy, I think it gets the attention it deserves here. Nice decision. |

| Hmm.. just thought of this. You know when you were younger, you thought there was only one version of "there?" Just simple, plain ol' "there?"
Well, in about 3rd or 4th grade, you are introduced to the other "there"s (they're and their). When you learn that there are other versions of the same word, you are also taught the meaning. It just dawned on me that if you are educationally advanced enough to know that there are other 'there's in existance, then how come you don't know the meaning of each one?!?! Your teacher isn't just going to say "Oh by the way class, you can spell 'there' three ways: T-H-E-R-E, T-H-E-I-R, AND T-H-E-Y-apostrophie-R-E" and ot explain the meaning. |

| Alright. Let me clarify a little bit. Let's all think of words that sound the same but have completely different meanings and spellings. Or words that are spelled the same but sound different. I'll give examples of each, then it's your turn!
Dough - "batter" for bread, also a term for money. Doe - a female deer. Doh! - Homer's way of saying "darnit!" Or! Live - "Coming to you live from New York, it's Katie Curry with..." Live - A variation of "life;" Living. Ok, let's play! |

We know the game. A word spelled one way, then spelled backwards (last letter first) makes another (real) word. Example : Live = Evil Nap = Pan And so on. What can you think of? |

| Well, technology is advancing. How does that make you feel and why?
As a gamer/computer nerd, I am excited, but as a regular person, I'm frustrated. Why? Here's an example that happened less than two hours ago. I went to the bank to get some cash out of the ATM. I wanted $20, and I wanted it from my savings. Now, Wells Fargo has been replacing their old ATMs with the buttons with new ones that have touch screens. I entered my PIN and it asked me what I wanted to do. Here are the options it gave: Quick Cash ($40 from your checkings account instantly, your card back, and a reciept) Get Cash (Chose from Checkings or Savings, and how much you want) Some Other stuff. I touched the screen right above "Get Cash" so I could get money out of my savings, and the screen glitched and picked it up that I had hit "Quick Cash." It spit out the money, my card, and the reciept without even asking "Is this correct?" |
