| If you agree with Elara on that one, Pockets, you could always add an elipsis there.
"Then... she was gone." Or "Then... she was gone...." I do agree with Elara on that part, but only after a second look at it. To me, a period signifies a break in the flow of words, and it makes it kind of akward. I'm also agreed with the imagry part... things like "pushing back she spun about" could be altered or added onto to give the reader more of an image of what's going on. I'm a fan of a lot of description in my writing, but it really depends on how you want your first chapter to sounds. You may want to leave it as it is and get a bit more detailed later. Overall, I like.  If you have more, you should post it.  |

| TROM and Xeo, even if no one reads it (which we would), it's a good way to get out your feelings. Also, people can offer advice on the same subjects over and over, unlike boards like these where you'll get in trouble for opening the same thread every week.
Such examples as "I'm gunna be a bad mom!!!!" in my journal. lol. Anyway, sometimes it's a good thing to have. *nods* |

| Me likies full screen. there was a time when I was stuck watching a movie widescreen, and it bothered me at first, but after watching like 3 movies on hte same TV (no remote to change to fullscreen), I began to not really notice it, however, when I do notice it, it PISSES ME OFF! BASTARDS!

| Crythole, I'd get one. If you use it, you use it, if not, you don't. You might discover you actually like it, unless you're more of a private person like Pockets.
I, however, like to have emotional support, and I also see it as a good way to keep in touch with others that have Live Journals (LJ). And if it's not your thing, you don't have to update it, but with random quizzes and such. |

| Hmm... There are so many lessons left to be learned. However, the one I find the most valuable to me is
"Honesty is the best policy." I almost got fired from a job for doing something stupid. Because I was honest about what I did and that I'd fire my own ass, my current employer let me stay my last day (it was the end of the season and I was getting laid-off anyway), and also invited me to come back next season. Honesty is also important in relationships. When most people cheat, they usually hide it, but since I came out and told my fiance, he forgave me and trusts me, because he knows that I will talk to him every time something is bothering me. Honesty is the one thing I pride myself in and I believe it's one of life's most valuable lessons and learned traits... |
