Victory goes to Kaijin after Cairoi failed to post within the 3 day limit.
Kaijin is now qualified for Round 2.

Cairoi is now eligible to participate in the special Wild Card Matches, assuming that he follows the instructions for them which will be posted later on in the WMT Tournament Thread in the Sim-Battle Arena

Note to all fighters that are still competing in Round 1:

All Round 1 battles will be closed in exactly 1 week. At that point, I, and only I, will judge the winner of the battle. Explanation for why that person won is not necessary.

Or of mine. Since Xeios has not broken any rule whatsoever, unless he lied about sending a PM to Leon which I doubt he did (lying that is), this battle is 100% legit.

And as I mentioned earlier, the trainer can be of your approval as well as mine. I'll be the qualified trainer. Therefore, this battle has reached the criteria for an official Division battle. Leon has one week to respond.

Xeios, you have now been demoted to the regular divison of Middleweight and Cairoi has been placed as Leader.

Xeios, you're already borderline flaming. It'd be in your best interest to calm down. Stuff like that could've been done through a PM.

A report card...you're joking right?

Unless a fighter personally asks for some kind of evaluation on their battle, I will not implement report cards of any kind. Not only is it time consuming...but the fact that most fighters in the past have ignored literally all the advice I've given them is enough to warrant a 'no report card' policy/rule/whatever. And after thinking it over, I decided that I still will not give any explanation whatsoever on the reason behind my decisions in each fight that is unless a request is made through IM [pay attention, note that I said IM, not PM]

Also, all fighers must note the method in which I shall judge the remaining undecided fights.

One mistake is all that I need to declare a person the victor/loser. The moment I find that one mistake, my decision will instantly be made. I won't even bother reading through the entire fight. I don't care if the other fighter made 1500 mistakes after that one mistake made by the first fighter. The first mistake I find is what will determine the fight.

I beg to differ. You beat Leon, not as a result of your skill, but due to time. In no way does this actually prove that you are worthy of the heavyweight division. I'm pretty sure Kaijin would agree with me on this. Unless you actually prove your worth against someone in a complete battle or one that is almost at completion, you should stay at whatever section you are already in.

Therefore, Xeios is staying in Middleweight as far as I'm concerned.

T'was overall an ok battle.

Both Shuyin and Xeios attempted some rather risky moves. While both fighters both received some damage, it seemed that Shuyin's damage was slightly more 'fatal than that of Xeios'. Though I slightly begin to question one of Shuyin's moves after receiving damage, regardless of how small, I cannot help but also wonder about of one Xeios' moves.
Nevertheless, there has to be winner.

Taking into account:
1) Damage received/given
2) Stance
3) Counters
4) Defense

I decided that Xeios shall move on. It is quite a shame since it was a very close match. It would have helped if there had been more posts but since all was done within the time limits, I had to work with what was there.

Xeios will move on. Shuyin is now illegible to enter the Wild Card tournament. Info for the Wild Card Tournament shall be issued soon.

Lineups for the Second Round will be made soon.

Xeios, this is not the topic one should argue against. The Divisions are determined by your skill, not by the number of battles you have won. Your so called 'victory' over Leon told nothing of the skill you're supposed to have for the Heavyweight division. Heck, you could have some complete idiot beat Leon due to the 3 day post rule. It doesn't necessariliy mean that certain idiot is ready for the Heavyweight Division. My suggestion to you is to stop arguing and go challenge someone who's more active than Leon.

Also, the title belongs to Cairoi. You gave it to him. You no longer have the right or privlege of saying 'it's only fair if I get it back now' since it is his title, not yours. If you wwant that title again, you're going to have to beat him for it.

A fair attempt at coming up with some unique ideas, but I feel that the "Timed Test" option should perhaps be taken out altogether. Most tournament battles have already been undergoing this "Timed Test" idea. After a certain period of time, the battle is closed and a judge analyzes the battle, deciding who was the more effective fighter.

And I also must question the Impulse tournament. Exactly how much freedom will one receive in customizing this character?
