All seem to freeze in darkness and fear as lone aura made its presence known, all across the sands. Life dared not move as the presence became stronger, like an immense shadow become deeper and fuller with each dying breath of the candle's flame. A soft, gentle wind stirred the sands, almost parting it, as if attempting to set a path for someone or something.

Whispers...everywhere. Warnings from the dead? Warnings from the cosmic beings above? Regardless, whispers began to fill the land. Chilling, cold, and incoherent, many voices gathered and whispered, their foreign words echoing throughout the desert. Suddenly, a hush. They've gone silent. It could mean only one thing...he's here.

In the distance, a significant figure emerged, seeming to appear from nowhere. He was advancing slowly towards the lone man who stood there, waiting. As he grew closer, his features could be more easily seen. A tall man, with long, black, spikey hair, with a light skin tone. His attire was hidden completely by the large, yet magnificent black cloak he wore. His dark brown eyes scanned the area as his slender right hand slowly reached for the handle of the massive sword, which was strapped to his back.

Slowly, he drew it, revealing the glory, magnificence, and terror that was his sword. A truly formidable weapon indeed, boasting a length that was nearly as great as its master. Wielding a large blade, with a single carving on the very bottom of the blade where it met with the hilt and handle. The blade shone, despite the fact that the sun was slowly setting.

He stood there, the image of a fearsome warrior. His face showed no expression as his dark brown eyes slowly met that of his opponent's. As if his weapon wasn't enough to bring great fear to his opponents, his deadly presence would.

He did not reply for a moment as he simply just stared at the man that stood before him. He could tell his opponent was no human. But then again, when has that ever stopped him? A small wind blew at his black cloak and long, spikey hair as he took his time, as if trying to find the best words for an answer. His grip on the handle of his sword, however, remained calm and loose.

"I've come for both...and much more."

His left hand seemed to twitch ever so slightly.

"And you?"

"Friend. There is still one empty grave."

His expression suddenly changed from a calm, indifferent warrior into a look of great insanity and chaos. A wild and large grin appeared on his face as he glared at his opponent, chuckling under his breath.

"Not only will I disgrace you by using that grave to bury your head..."

A soft, almost indistinguishable red glow appeared, eminating from his left hand for only a few seconds.

"I will tear off your limbs and feed them to the vultures."

Slowly, a new, strange aura grew, filling the arena with its terrifying power. Yet, it was simply a mere drop of the ocean.

"As for the rest of your corpse...I shall drop it into the ocean."

He took a single, small step back with right leg so that his left side now faced that of his opponents. A simple sword stance that he has always started battles with. Regardless of its simplicity, it was extraordinarily effective.

"There's no need to pray. I am god."

Sparda wasted no time. It just wasn't his style to waste time. The moment Murimasa signaled for him to attack, he didn't spend another second to conjur his first strike. Without any warning or hesitation, a large wave of sand suddenly arose right in front of Murimasa, controlled by the will of Sparda and his immense psychic powers. The wave of sand, approximately stretching ten feet high and twenty feet wide came crashing down at the significantly smaller opponent with such force and impact, each grain of sand would have easily ripped Murimasa's flesh from his bones.

While this was done, Sparda's body remained loose and relax, never once leaving his stance, regardless of how large the wave was.

Sparda Hellsing, the figure that Cairoi was addressing, gracefully turned around, allowing the wind to softly kiss his long, spikey, black hair and the tails of large yet magnificent black cloak. Sparda Hellsing...the Chaoticdeath. It was and was not surprising to see that such a name and title belonged to such a man. For though he had the looks of a warrior, he did not seem to possess the passion of one...at least not yet.

He was tall and of light skin tone...a man of the East in his lands. His dark brown eyes locked themselves onto Cairoi, but showed no sign of aggression. His face bore no expression of hate or chaos, but rather, was quite indifferent and calm. To an outsider, not much could be told about Sparda at the moment. He was quiet and calm. If the outsider were to look at his fashion in order to judge the man, he wouldn't have much to say. After all, Sparda's attire was completely concealed by the cloak he wore. All that can be seen, other than the cloak, were the black boots that he wore.

Perhaps the only reason one could tell that Sparda was a warrior was the massive sword that he had strapped to his back...a sword that seemed to be the very personification of chaos and fear. It was a formidable instrument of mass destruction, for its very length was almost equal to that of its master. Wielding a large, yet extraordinarily sharp blade, it seemed to give off a very soft glow.

He was silent for a moment, looking at the Terraknight before finally speaking.

"Some strange force compelled me to come here. I think I know why now."

"Always biting more than you can chew."

Sparda chuckled under his breath as he slowly drew the massive weapon from his back, releasing it from its restraints, with his slender right hand. Indeed, it was a fearsome weapon, and one of unnatural yet amazing design. At the bottom of the blade, where it met with the hilt, there was an ingraved carving, in the shape of an oval.

A small, menacing grin slowly crept its way onto Sparda's face as his dark brown eyes seem to take on a new glow. The aura that Sparda had been emitting became twice as strong, able to be felt from miles away. He took a small step back with his right leg so that his left side now faced Cairoi's front.

"Well? You've been waiting so long. What are you waiting for now?"

He stared at him through the corner of his eyes.

I was surprised to find that I was very familiar with the song "Planet Hell". So this is the band that made that song!

So anyway, I checked out the website, a bit skeptical. Though I completely disagree with the fact that it's the most 'beautiful band of all time', I will say that this band is certainly very unique and innovative. Some of their songs, I like. Some of their songs are a bit awkward.

A good band...but certainly nowhere near the best, imo.

"Hmm.."

The grin on Sparda's face grew wider as his expression grew even more menacing. This was obviously child's play for him. He took one look at the attack and easily found a major flaw in its premise, using it to his advantage. Heat...DNA...and Aura...indeed, these were all things that Sparda possessed...but they were also things that his sword possessed, factors what were identical to its master. Though he could have easily survived the blow had he allowed the strike to hit him, he decided against doing something so rash and used his sword instead.

He quickly flipped the positon of his sword upside down, so that the blade pointed downwards, as he suddenly took a big step forward with his right leg, using this stance and momentum to throw a powerful strike with his sword at the incoming beam, just as it was about to make contact. It seemed as if a battle of beasts took place, that very moment, when the beam collided with the sword. For a few moments, the blast and the blade of the sword were locked in a heated deadlock, but the superior 'being' soon prevailed as the 'dragon' became overpowered by the might of Sparda's sword. Slowly, it 'disentegrated' into nothing.

Of course, Sparda was a man of twist and turns and he was certainly not one to allow a strike upon his cheek without a dagger in the heart of his opponent, per se. Thus, just as the beam deadlocked with his weapon, Sparda unleashed a sudden wave of immense psychic energies into the ground below Cairoi so that, suddenly, without much warning, within a time frame of just two seconds, the molecules of the bridge, below Cairoi's feet, were free of their old bonds, and were given new ones, thrusting itself into its new shape, five sharp spikes, which attempted to impale themselves into Cairoi. Each spike being approximately ten feet high and 15 inches in its widest diameter, formed in a circular formation, thrusted itself upwards at Cairoi with such force, it would have been extremely easy for each of them to impale through Cairoi's body completely, regardless of sharp the point was or how effective Cairoi's armor was (since the spikes come from beneath).

As Murimasa took his time, swinging his sword, before expelling the lightning bolt of energy, Sparda was already ready with an invisible, yet existing psychic wave barrier around him. Thus, he didn't have any need to react very fast when the bolt was shot forth for he was already prepared. As the Dark Bolt was about to make contact with Sparda, the air around him seemed to become distorted as the Dark Bolt was suddenly sent reeling into a totally different location: the sky.

Sparda just stared at his opponent, never leaving his stance, as he simply waited. A new aura was being emitted from his sword and body now...one not felt before...a totally new feeling. It seemed that he was preparing something. Whether it was an attack of some sort, or perhaps some kind of defensive measure, it was unknown. What was known was that it would be big...very big.

Eric snapped the case shut and picked it up, holding it by its handle. He stared into the distance, where Sector 2 was located and shrugged as he simply started walking towards it, his destination clear and set. He didn't bother following Pyros, and decided to go with his instincts instead. After all, how many times had he been through this route? He tucked his magnum into a holster that was strapped to his pants, and placed the headsets over his ears, turning the CD player on once more.

"It doesn't matter which way you go. As long as you reach Sector 2 alive."

And with that said, he started his walk towards Sector 2...or was he headed somewhere else?

While Cairoi's eyes may have opened in a flash and the blast traveled faster than the speed of sound, it was practically all for nothing if the attack was prepared in a very slow manner. Since this was exactly what happened, Sparda had more than enough time to stop the incoming onslaught...and then some.

He held his sword in front of him, almost as if using it like a shield, in a diagonal stance so that the blade was able to cover a portion of chest as well as the lower half of his face. As this was done, Sparda unleashed UltraViolent all around him. All this was done as Cairoi was continuing to prepare his 'air spear'.

"Let's see how this turns out."

By the time Cairoi unleashed his air spear, the grace period was ended...and an invisible hell was let loose.

UltraViolent- Using an extraordinarily rare form of alchemistic skills, Sparda uses his powers to manipulate electromagnetic waves around him. The amplitude and frequency of the immense electromagnetic waves are increased to a point where it becomes quite a feat just withstanding the intensity of the waves. The electric field and the magnetic field are slightly ‘upgraded’ by the alchemistic skills mentioned earlier to make this possible. As a result, the light if a ‘color’ that can neither be described or imagined. The amplitudes and frequency take the photons of light to a completely different echelon of power, making it a truly devastating force. The waves, out of range of a human’s visible spectrum, are known as Ultraviolent Waves. The Ultraviolent Waves, though not visible, rip apart (literally) and disintegrate all living tissue upon contact (proven by the Photoelectric Effect), within just a nanosecond, due to their supernatural properties. The only possible way to tell that Sparda is even using these strange waves is by taking notice of the strange set of shadows casted upon the ground, of Sparda’s figure, regardless of the presence of light within the visible spectrum of human eyes. When in contact with metals of any sort, regardless of its place of origin, the metal will instantly become nothing (instantly, being one picosecond, after applying the Photoelectric effect, taken to a new level). When in contact with anything else, it will slowly disintegrate that matter into nothing (taking approximately about thirty minutes to disintegrate it completely; 10 posts, not including the opponents.) For as long as the UltraViolent Waves is in affect, Sparda’s psychic powers are completely shot. When the UltraViolent Waves are deactivated, Sparda has 5 posts to recover, not including the opponent’s. Sparda’s immunity is due to his superiority over a certain element (it will not be revealed, unless it is asked for). There is a grace period of exactly one second before the Ultraviolent waves are launched…this can be seen when Sparda is surrounded by a strange glow, possessing a color never before seen.

Yeah, there pretty much isn't anything to say. Cairoi said he would post but it's been a month. Therefore, victory is mine.

Might I suggest Ac/Dc? They are one of my favorite bands and they have some excellent albums.
You may also enjoy The Clash. London Calling anybody?

Also, if you're into rock/rap, check out Rage Against the Machine.

"Team?"

He turned around with a smirk on his face as he stared at Jack, a crazed look in those dark brown eyes of his.

"You're telling me about teamwork when that pyromaniac fuckhead walks away like that? You pansy, wake the fuck up. I live in this fucking city. I'd think I know a tad bit more than that shithead there."

He muttered something under his breath and continued on his way, pressing the play button to resume his music. Obviously, Eric meant business and he didn't give a damn what others thought. Suddenly, he stopped.

"Besides, there are still some working underground transportation systems. I'm just walking to get to my ride."

Speaking of Guns N' Roses, if you enjoy them, you might enjoy Velvet Revolver. Velvet Revolver basically consists of three of the GNR veterans, including Slash, along with a new guy for rhythm guitar and Weiland (sp?) for vocals. I cannot honestly say how satisfied I was with their Contraband album. I literally enjoyed every single song in it, which is very rare for me. The song "Slither" is absolutely amazing.

I do not concur, actually.

But, I'm a fan older music, when people liked to scream, and had really long hair.

I'm a GNR fan, hands down, but I really haven't liked anything from what I've heard from Velvet Revolver (my mom has one of their albums).

They're similiar, yeah, but just not really the same ... it's hard to explain.

...I thought there was only one album.

Question...

Should I have the semi-automatic rifle handy for the castle part? I haven't gotten a chance to play yet but I want to go into the castle well prepared. However, I don't want to be buying any crap I don't need. I've decided to go with the Red9 over the Blacktail for now. I've traded in my old shotgun for the riot gun. I've refrained from buying the Broken Butterfly since I will be able to get it for free later on.

He didn't move. He just seemed frozen in that position as if waiting for something. But didn't look like he was waiting for his opponent...no, Sparda was waiting for something else. The aura around him grew more radiant, its presence growing stronger by the second a soft white glow engulfed his figure, ever so slightly.

A phenomenon then occured as massive wing-like structures slowly emerged from Sparda's back. Yet, these did not have the appearance of the wings that belonged to angels or devils...for the wings were invisible...all that could be seen of them were the veins and arteries within the wing itself. For now, only a pair of these 'blood' wings appeared from his back, extending to about 10 feet each.

All the while, Sparda never left his stance...

What was he planning?

Vulkar, i reviewed your thread and realized that there was an error. I shall make amends, somehow. Please be patient as I do so.

Elara will remain DQed. After reviewing the evidence she showed me, I still found that she still went past the 3 day post limit. And she wasn't 2 hours late. According to her evidence, she was 6+ hours late.

And finally, the winner of the Wild Card will get a chance to fight in the semis. But in roder to save time, this is how I'll go about it. For all those who i said were eligible for the Wild Card, it is required of you to simply post here saying so. Those who fail to post here to apply for the Wild Card within 3 days, starting from the time of this post, will be unable to attend.

His steps were quick yet quiet as Eric casually strolled through the ruins of an old familiar street, trying to regain his memories, if any, of the place. He took notice of one of the old NY skyscraper that seemed to have been split right down the center so that only half of the building stood up, in the distance. That skyscraper marked the entrance to Sector 2.

"Still a while to go..."

He suddenly stopped and lowered the headset from his ears, as he looked around. Was it just his imagination or did the shadow of that building seem to grow darker? Ever so slowly, he lowered his guitar case and placed it onto the ground as he withdrew the magnum from its holster.
