Hey guys. I'm going to need some help from all the guitar players of XGF...or just anyone who knows their guitar brands.

I'm looking for an ax electric guitar (is that how you call them?)) and I saw a couple ones that look really nice. However, i'm not sure which brands or models are very good. I saw a couple of Brownsville electric guitars such as JDV200 and the IV400 which looked really nice and were at a very affordable price. However...would they last very long during a gig? I'm looking for reasonable quality, reliablity, and affordable price.

if you don't know about guitar brands but you do know of some guitar review sites, that would be very helpful too.

Sparda grinned as he began to walk normally again, almost as if he had not been wounded at all. What such sorcery was this? He clenched his hands into fists periodically, as if trying to regain some kind of feeling within them once more. He looked at the company that had survived the assault upon the Black Horse Pub.

"I did nothing to destroy the trust of my country. It is the ruler that destroyed my trust in him. After the most recent usurption of the king of Ulgath and the rise of power of Sir Leonis, the odds have been against me. That traitor, Leonis,...no...he calls himself Azrael now...he fears those that may challenge his rule. Thus...I was a target."

He took a few steps forward, observing his surroundings, pondering to himself, being sure not to make too much noise. They would have to find new refuge soon.

"As for the other three knights...I know not what have happened to them."

"We must not stay long. Those who cannot run under their own strength must be carried, if necessary. Surely, if we are to delay, both kingdoms will be after us."

Sparda turned his head slightly to look at Xeios.

"If there are provisions here we can take, it woudl be best to gather them now. Though it is evening, I do not doubt that we will be sought after. Afterall, I have slayed both Transmarians and Ulgathians. They have seen all of you in my company...therefore, they shall think you are my allies."

Sparda dug his hand into one of his pockets and pulled out a small, unusual contraption which he studied for a moment, in the darkness.

"We should head south...and take refuge in the dark forests. I know my way well there...and they will not think to search there for us...at least for some time."

Sparda smiled as he looked at Kira...the only female of the group. It was a sly smile, one that a person usually had when he possessed some sort of knowledge that someone else didn't and seemed to be enjoying this feeling, though it was in no way malicious.

"My lady, there is no reason to fear the forests. Many of my happiest memories can be found there...it is not how the stories have portrayed it."

He placed the little contraption back into his pocket and took one last look around.

"If we are all ready to depart, then let us do so."

I do plan on getting a Gibson Les Paul in the future...but at the moment, it's not what i'm looking for. Maybe I didn't explain it clearly enough. I'm looking for a guitar that has an ax design to it. Something like the Gibson Explorer.

Oh, i know a good example. Randy Rhodes' guitar.

"Hmmm..."

Sparda stopped for a moment and looked up at the dark nothingness as if something had struck him. Was that a small grin on his face? Regardless of what was there, it was there no longer. It was getting rather dark outside...they would be able to use that to their advantage.

"Come...we cannot delay. The moon has been kind enough to not reveal her gaze today."

He quietly stepped out of the hole from whence they entered the warehouse and examined the immediate proximity, not uttering a single sound or noise as he did so, scanning for hostility. There was none...at least not yet.

His movements were swift and his actions were silent as he took a few advancing steps, just to make sure the coast was clear.

I noticed the same thing: ridiculously small textboxes. I especially hate those without textboxes and a ridiculous background that makes it impossible to see the text. So basically, what I did was, i practically blocked every single layout that bothered me.I thought there was a rule in the layout rule announcement that said your textbox had to have a limit to how small it can be. If not, then Tanis, you should probably edit it.

EDIT: Oops, you're not the local moderator for General Art. Well, maybe you should PM an administrator and have them edit it. I'd do it...but I don't know enough about making textboxes anymore to make a reasonable rule.

Sparda turned around, a bit surprised, and looked at the Terraknight. He stood there, staring, silent for many moments. The darkness of the night made it impossible to tell whether he was smiling or frowning. Regardless, his reply was spoken in an indifferent tone.

"Do as you wish, Terraknight. Your services are relinquished upon my death or until you choose to relieve yourself."

He bowed slightly and returned his focus upon the road ahead.
"We cannot afford to delay any longer. We are losing precious time..."

"Come...we have to go...now."

And with that, he continued forth, guarded by the shadows, heading due south to the dark forests.

Yes? Yes.

I'm out I guess...

Oh well. At least I've seen what this sim battleing stuff is.

Good luck to those who are moveing on.

Sorry, I forgot to mention. Since I you went on to fight for two rounds, you did not qualify for Wild Card. Those who were eligible for Wild Card were those knocked out in the first rounds.

OCC: My apologies for the delay.

The aura grew greater and more magnificent. Sparda's figure as a whole became difficult to distinguish as the radiance of the light all around him grew greater and greater. Now, it became nearly impossible for the opponent to even begin to comprehend what sorts of changes were going about his opponent. What could be told was that Sparda's presence seemed to rapidly increase, yet, it was not the same 'presence' felt earlier at the beginning of the battle.

In a few ways, Sparda was like and yet unlike his opponent, Xeios. As another door opened in the midst of the infinite world, this soon became apparent. A figure stepped through, becoming the negative of the brilliant white that would be their arena. He was a tall, straight figure with light skin tone. He possessed sharp features and dark brown eyes that pierced the brightness of the room, unlike the feminine features of his opponent Xeios, with his yellow eyes.

His black boots tapped against the white floor as he stepped forward, the door closing by itself. It was hard to tell what else he was wearing due to the large, yet magnificent black cloak that he wore over his attire, the color matching his long, spikey hair. Strapped to his back was an instrument of pure death and destruction, a massive sword, extending to nearly the size of its master. Even amongst the bright whiteness of the room, the blade of the sword managed to give off an eerie glow.

His was the face of indifference when Sparda walked through that door and entered infinity. But of course, infinity really didn't mean much to him. After all, he was the ChaoticDeath. To him, infinity was quite limited.

Sparda simply stared ahead at Xeios, but no longer focused upon his eyes. Instead, he seemed to be staring at his opponent as a whole, not concentrating on a certain part of his figure. His expression was still very indifferent, as if he really didn't care who was standing in front of him, friend or foe. All that was around him, he did not care for, for to him, it was always the same. Infinity meant nothing if it could not be understood. It just so happened that he was one of the few immortals that could understand it...and beyond it.

His slender right hand slowly reached for the handle of his great sword and grasped it tightly, steadily drawing it from its bindings. For a weapon of its great size, he seemed hardly affected by its weight...if it had any. All that time, he did not make a single sound as he relaxed his arm, lowering his weapon so that the tip of the blade pointed to the white nothingness of the ground.

What was in his mind? What could he be possibly thinking? It was hard to tell...especially since the expressions of his face never betrayed him.

The crowd that had formed around the unusual figure suddenly began to back away when they recognized the presence of another rather unusual figure. Soon, the massive group of people stepped back so that there was enough room between the strange humanoid being and the tall figure, dressed in black. Though he seemed perfectly human physically, the people around him seemed to be somewhat disturbed his presence. As if that weren't enough, he was rather well-armed and dressed in the most unusual fashion.

His back was facing Z-35, his eyes focused upon the sky. A small wind blew at his body, kissing his long, spikey, black hair and blowing at the ends of his long, yet magnificent black cloak, which successfully concealed everything he was wearing underneath, with the exception of his black boots. Strapped to his back was a massive weapon, an instrument of pure destruction: a large sword, nearly the length of its master, which gave off an eerie glow, one that was unnatural and truly uncommon.

Sparda had already ran ahead of the group, amazing silent throughout. Something in his mind kept telling him not to stop. Stopping meant death. He was now responsible for the lives of an entire group of people...their death would mean he was incapable of saving them. Such a thing was just too much for his conscience.

"Too many deaths by my hands. I can't afford to send more away."

The numbers of trees they began to encounter were slowly multiplying, though it never really constituted enough to be an actual forest. In actuality, the dark forests were quite a distance away from their current location. The trees that they were surrounded by now would merely be used for cover in case the situation proved to be dire.

Every so often, Sparda would draw out the little device that he had pulled out in the warehouse and examine it for a few brief moments before putting it away and continuing forward. His breathing was calm and steady, being able to handle the immense pressure that was placed upon him.

Sparda turned around, and stared at the humanoid being standing before him, the Z-35. His dark, cold brown eyes observed his opponent, examing every inch of it as he stood there calmly, as if he were waiting for the thing before him to move. He didn't recall every fighting a machine before, but he wasn't particularily worried.

Another wind softly blew at his long hair and his black cloak. Sparda didn't even bother reaching for his sword, like he usually did at the beginning of the battle. Rather, he just kept them loosely at his sides, staring through those expressionless eyes of his. His voice was soft as he spoke.

"I don't think it will make a difference whether I put my weapon down or whether I decide to fight."
