To keep it simple...
Xeios is DQed. Anything that he might have missed in the rules is obviously his own fault. I'll get to making the final battle soon. |

What would people (both fighters and spectators) like to see in the battle, in terms of weapons? I've been debating on whether to use new weapons or weapons previously mentioned in earlier battles. Suggestions would be nice.

i'll be gone for the rest of the week. When I get back, I'll get the finals up. Thanks for the suggestions.

Fighters: Kaijin vs. Vulkar Rules: 3 day post limit rule Battles will NOT automatically end after certain period of time (after the battle has already started and both fighters have made at least one post) Rule breaking will result in automatic disqualification 7 Days for each fighter to make first post, starting from the moment in which this post is made. The entire arena is open to you. Terms: Mortal combat No special powers whatsoever Each fighter will be given one week to make their first post in the battle Extensions may be granted, but only a maximum of 2 extensions will be given Special Note- This is how the Final Round will work, in terms of weaponry... Each fighter starts off with a simple dagger, approximately 12 inches long. They will continue to use this weapon for five days. After the five day limit has been breached, each fighter's weapon will uniquely change into something slightly more advanced. This method will repeat itself every 5 days until a winner is chosen. Information on new weaponry will be posted accordingly. For now, the weapon given to both fighters (the dagger) is exactly the same. The arena, or rather the space alloted for fighting, was much bigger this time around for both fighters. In fact, there seemed to be an excess of space for it hardly seemed like the fighters would use it all effectively. Regardless, it was there. The arena was nothing more than a massive crater, nearly ten miles in length. However, the bottom of the crater has been evened out so that it seems more like a large circle, encased in miniature plateaus. The arena was approximately twenty feet deep into the ground. The weather was sound and all seemed calmed. Isolated in the middle of nowhere, the arena served only one purpose, to provide setting for the two fighters. Unlike before, where the conditions were harsh, this one seemed to be the exact opposite. Even the ground was tarred so that there was a preferrable amount of grip and friction for the contestants. ...
mkay. Fine. Vulkar wins the Weapon Master Tournament. Therefore, he deserves the title "Weapon Master". Thanks for all who participated...i guess... This as well as the Weapon Master Thread can be closed (don't bother putting it in the Hall of Fame...none of the threads are even close to being worthy of being in the Hall of Fame, seeing as how almost all of them were ended prematurely.) Make way for the next tournament, ladies and gents! |

It has been said by all true religious leaders of Christian groups that all people are loved and respected by God. I'm somewhat confused on where you found out that non-believers do not go to hell. If someone told you, they are being ignorant. If you got that from the Bible, you either read it with too much bias or you interpreted it wrong completely. Hell is reserved for those who have completely rejected God and consciously refused all of God's teachings. One who does not believe but lives a reasonable life will not go to hell. One who does not believe but goes on killing sprees and desecrates all that is human will most likely go to hell. Another way to look at this entire situation is this: A person dies and stands before God for judgement. God gives him one last chance to seek forgiveness. Only if the person refuses does he go to Hell. Granted, this is a very..."lame" method to explain it but i find that it often gets the point across. Vulcanlogic, i really have no blessed idea where you're pulling all that info from. But since I don't pretend to understand the afterlife, i won't contest it. Teundusia, just out of mere curiousity and nothing else, if you know what hell is, how could you not be scared of it if it does exist? By the way, your last sentence really confused me. This question about Hell and non-believers and such has been asked so many times before. In my opinion, people constantly repeat this question, not because they want to know, but because they are trying to find another way to disprove the faith and reveal the corruption and deception that they believe is the Church. My apologies for any typos and such, for i'm sure they are definitely present. If you wish to challenge anything i've said, feel free to do so, but please do it in a respectful manner. Cheers. I'm not going to tell you I'm sorry because i'm not. I'm not going to say i'll be there for you, because i never met you in real life. I'm not going to go on a ridiculous senseless and empty post about how everything will be alright.
I will tell you this: Shit happens. Whatever does not kill one will make one stronger. You need to get over it and move on. When worse comes to worst, smile at Fate and flip her the finger. |

i doubt you're going to get around this. This thread is just going to end up becoming inactive and forgotten.
But if you decide to prove me wrong, take a stab at Sparda. There's a pic of him in the SImbattle Character Profile forum. |

There's one on the main site....
but if that isn't enough, well, guess someone could make a new one. I've always had a problem with the Forum banner, but that's just me. |

i honestly do not believe christian parents 'persuade' their children by threatening them with hell. Besides, it doesn't even make sense.

I'm a bit confused seeing as how that screenshot looks exactly like the tech demo. What exactly are you getting at? I think SquareEnix is too preoccupied with Final Fantasy XII and XIII to be working on a remake of VII. Plus, didn't they say so many times before "There will be no remake of FFVII for the PS3?"
Btw, the Buster Sword is clearly not made more "realistic" in that screenshot. It's only being seen from an angle. Plus, his left foot is there...you can even see the left edge of it. |

i have no idea what you just said about the italics, but just know that whenever someone quotes you, their post will be in all italics as well because of your HTML coding.
also...i seriously hope you're not basing your arguments off of some movie that was made whenever. Movies such as the one you just showed me are fiction. And also, if people are left on earth during the apocalypse...does that mean they survived the apocalypse or what? |

why can't you close off the italics in the signature?
oh, and you are so not telling me what Christians actually believe because of what your Christian friend told you. Friend, i am Christian too. |

Vulcan, are you a Christian? I'm not so sure if what you're saying is in line with what Christians actually believe. `
EDIT: Also, The books of Moses and Abraham...are those supposed to be books rejected at the Council of Nicea? Or are those something else? (Last edited by Sparda on 07-10-06 07:08 PM) |
