| Xeios looked at the assembled party. There were eight of them. Three in to of the groups, two in the last group. Oh dear.
"Ajax. This group would be too large and would leave someone without a member. Having four people here, where the help would not be so necessary, would leave two groups without three members. Try and find one to follow." Xeios pointed to the other two doors. And studied the movements after this point, he wanted to make note of who was with who... | Xeios let hte energy loose. It sped out in the form of a beam, arching to come out underneath of his foe, hopefully striking him at an angle, directly under his heart. Xeios wanted to end this quickly and without Shinfu, but ihe could not remove it from his hand. Father was forcing him to weild it. And attempting to teach Xeios something. Bastard...
"Son, I have a technique for you." "Not now." "It will guarentee victory." "I said, Not NOW!" Xeios began swuinting as he truly beheld the shining light in Beo's right hand. He realized that Beo was now being completely possessed by his Father. What cruelty. I must put an end to this. There is no reason that a possession should have come about, at least, not this early. Xeios drew a card, it was tipped with razer sharp metal and the edge shone between Xeios' index and middle fingers. He threw the card, following up his energy attack. The card was attempting to hit Beo in the chest. Xeios had such skill, that cards such as these would be able to cut through most metals, and would slash flesh to ribbons. |

| Xeios' eyes cautiously attempted to meet Alby's. Did I hurt her that much? She was not usually like this. He shot a glance at Grim. That man was flirting with Alby. This angered Xeios a bit. He quickly turned and tried to get his focus off of Alby. He looked at Azrael, and then at Ajax. His body moved without thinking, and pushed open the door. A darkened hallway was revealed. Not so long, but alas, it still seemed bleak and hopeless. A true comparison to Mundus. There were several small torches that littered the walls. Giving off light that seemed to be drowned by the darkness. Xeios took several steps into this deep dark hallway, and turned. His face was lit up by the flames. Casting odd shadows about his face. His eyes glowing in an uncanny way.
"Come on now. It's time to go." Xeios extended a hand, and though he stood in the hallway he opened. He could still see Alby, and his mind was settled. |

| The pull between Xeios' swords, was greater than before, and they connected at the black orbs. A blinding white light surrounded the arena, and if someone where looking at Xeios, the light would blind them for one turn. But with Shuyin's special eye trait, it should blind him no matter what. The light continued to be amazingly bright, but snickers were heard from the inside of the light. One would think that Xeios had gone mad, spending all that time and energy just to create a blinding light, but the light had not cleared yet, and Xeios had done something devious. Out of the light, five cards came spinning. They all flew to Shuyin's position, and hoped to slice through him on his shoulders, neck, and thighs. The cards have a thin line of razer-sharp hardened blood on each edge, which would permit the cards to cut through skin and some types of armor. (Last edited by Xeios on 09-01-05 11:31 PM) |

| Xeios didn't know if Alby was following him but he walked after Azrael nonetheless. (Katana is away until friday,I'm leaving an opening for her to take either path.) The ringing of the weapon, and the way Azrael moved reminded him of the stories he had heard of Dante. That seemed like a man that could handle himself. Azrael impressed him at this point, but that was only because he killed things that were in the hallway with no problem. And they were practically invisible in the light. Xeios stepped into the courtyard not more than a second after Azrael. It was bright, well, in comparison it was a heavenly light, but actually it was just average sunlight.
Xeios peered into the sky, there were a few patches of dark clouds, but Xeios figured they were not of natural causes. Nothing here was...Natural. There was an odd green field of grass before them, and a cobblestone path which led to a large wall of hedges. Not completely hedges mind you, They seemed to have grown around two-hundred foot tall walls. The entrance to this hedge covered maze, which Xeios determined it was for the entry path was crooked and turned against another wall of equal height. It surely was something to behold. It was grand, and must have taken hundreds of years to build, and then grow the hedges onto. Or, if it was like the rest of this abomitable caste, it was unnatural, and maybe grown in two weeks. Xeios shook his head, what a shame he thought, something so beautiful should have taken its time growing...
