| I saw some screens of this game and the new unreal 3 engine at unrealtechnology.com. Unreal 3 has the best looking graphics I've ever seen, and I thought others might want to check it out as well. I just hope it wont slaughter my computer. | |||||||||||||||

| I heard somewhere that they used dual p4 extreme editions and dual 6800 ultras for the demo and still dropped below 30fps at times. Maybe Ageia's upcoming Physx ppu will help to raise framerates. | |||||||||||||||

| They are both more expensive and less powerful than a comparable Athlon XP/64. Get one of those, get better performance, and save some money. Don't be fooled by their lower clock speeds. They use much more efficient architecture that intels and don't need as high of clock speed to have the same performance. Also, don't be fooled whn people say that intel chips are more "stable". I have used both Intel and AMD processors and neither have had stability issues. I use an Athlon 64 3200 (socket 754, 512k, 130nm) and have had no problems. | |||||||||||||||

| I prefer ATi. Their prices seem a bit better than Nvidia's if you count the MHz, and Crossfire seems like a better multi-VGA "solution" than SLI. Plus, I have an ATi card (9800Pro). | |||||||||||||||

| That seems like a good build for the price. However, you should have bought an nForce 4 Ultra SLI mobo so that you could upgrade to SLI in the future. Also, I hope that's not value RAM you're using. The hard drive should also have a larger capacity, and should be a SATA drive if its not. I hope you didn't forget to order good heatsink for that CPU. | |||||||||||||||
