| *Etsu shruged* "Meh to you and your squables. I will be back before those two, so chow for now." *With that etsu walked off twards the kitchen. Since he had already eaten more than enough the night before he really wasn't hungry. Though thinking of the journey ahead dedcided to go to the kitchen and pack more food for later. As he walks he greets all the other servants and people in the castle. Then making his way to the kitchen starts packing food up and after which opens the door to his house in one of the shadows. After making several trips with food etsu then closed the door to his house and begain walking back to the dining hall where every one was. Finally ariving and sitting back at the seat to which he had left not but 15mins ago. Then continued to sit bored casting small fire spells and every once and a while juggleing a few fire balls. | |||

| Etsu looked to Dave and Elara. "Well first off, I am Etsu, Matsuya. Secondly some would call it practice, other entertainment, they would be fools for I call it bordom incarnate." With that Etsu combined all the fireballs into one Basketball sized orb and fired it at the wall behind dave, just missing his head and possalby scorching some of his hair. Then began freezing the air into ice crystals then tossing those up into the air and fireing at them with tiny bolts of what seemed to be lighting. As he did the ice crystals exploded into what looked like snow. As he continued to do that it started to look as if it was snowing, above his head however if you were to look at the ground you would seen nothing at all. After five or ten minutes of that he stoped. Then starting to levitate objects, candles, plates, and other random small objects that weren't being used by anyone. After a minute or so of that, etsu then began to create small thunderclouds making a small storm on the table for which rained, snowed, did with with the thunder and lighting, lastly began to hail. All of which doing small bits of damage to the table cloth. Etsu scanned the room not moving his head and then asked. "Where is our other party member? His name began with a K and he sword fough with Elara last night. Meh no matter, I just want to get this little show on the road before to long." | |||

| OOC: Well the reasons for my lack of post is simple not much to do at the moment other than idol chatter, which I have never been very good at IC or IRL. So once this story really gets on its feet and we start moving or getting more interaction as a group. I will post and keep up with everyone. I would like to see this RP to the end. Though I do wounder what happened to Pockets and DG. Also what is up with this Dave? Just need more random people eh? Though now that I have alot of free time I will proably post more even if it is just random non-nessary stuff. Though I started playing Ragnarok and got addicted. Oh well.
BIC: *Etsu looks up a the ceiling and thinks* "Wow I didn't know I could throw that high." *Then summons another ice shard and tosses up to the ceilling and sees it get suck for a second then fall back down onto the table shatering and sending small ice crystals flying in all directions mostly evaporating before touching anyone. Etsu then stands and looks to eveyone. "Ok well since I missed the party mind filling me in on what type of mission this is and what it intales? | *Etsu stood and looked directly at Artemis* "Well I for one would like to know more or less what our real goal is. I wasn't there at the party seeing as I arived late. So of all of you *looking around the room to each person for a second* I know the least of what is really going on. Secondly it is not your hospitality that is at issue you have been a lovely hostess and that is greatly apreceated. Its just that I would like to know better what we might be up against as so that I may better prepare myself for the journey ahead. Lastly I have never been only to just sit and wait. It is not in my nature, this is why I wish to leave and begin this adventure. Lastly I get the feeling that I am being watched on almost constantly. By people or things with much greater shadow powers than my own. For they lurk in the darkness and I can not see them. Nor sence them when I dive into the shadows yet I know they are here watching us, I am not sure of there intent and I do hope that they are just your shadow warrors studying us, for good reason since we are strangers, and protecting you since that would be there job and duty as your bodyguards." *With that Etsu sat down and just looked to Artemis waiting for a reply. Then thinking for a second and quickly replying* "I am sorry if that sounded rude. Though we do have a right to know. Lastly where is the last member of this little group?" | |||

| "Well this information has been very helpful. I will go prepare for the journey ahead." Etsu then took three steps back and disappeared into the shadows. Emerging in front of the weapons shop, etsu walked up to the man behind the counter. "I have a request for you. I would like you to fashion two daggers based off this sword and have them ready by tomorrow." Etsu drew his sword from his back and handed to the man. "Can you do this?" The man nodded and took the sword. After which etsu turned and walked away, now heading towards the archery shop. Once there he entered and began to look around. Etsu looked around for a while, picking out a few things. Then walking to the shop keep and placing the items on the table in front of them. "How much?" The shop owner told etsu the price of the items. Etsu paid for the items, one being a new Quiver that held 50 arrows, also a larger bundle of 150 more arrows. Then a set of 25 arrows that were pre-cast with elemental spells of the Holy element. Etsu knew these items would not come cheap but was willing to pay for them knowing he would be paid much more after he returned from the mission. Also what he didn't use he could sell back or to other adventures on the road. After getting the equipment etsu headed to the wizards tower, though doing so slowly looking around and admiring the town and its people as much as he could seeing has he didn't know the next time he would be in a town. Etsu passed many shops as he walked, none of which really caught his eye. At his slow pace it took etsu about two hours to reach his destination the Wizard's Tower. Once there etsu tried to enter but was blocked by a guard at the entrance saying "Only those wizards and mages of this guild are permitted in this tower." With that etsu pulled out the invitation to the party with the royal seal on it. This was enough to allow him entrance into the tower. Once inside etsu began to talk to the wizards there. Etsu still being a rookie mage he had many questions that were left unanswered after the death of his master from his old village. Mainly he wanted the rest of the spell book he received from his master translated into elven. The wizards looked at the book and deemed etsu not ready to handle most of the spells contained within the book. Etsu understood that but still ask that they translate the book and the spells within to Elven. The wizards told him that it would take a great while before they could translate and transcribe the entire book. So with that etsu left the book there with the wizards for them to study and translate. However in exchange etsu was given another book with lesser spells inside that was already in elven. These spells were much more attuned to etsu power and abilities but also had spells that he could learn to use with time. Etsu also asked that he have several potions made, however the wizards there didn't have the ingredients to make most of the spells nor did they deem it wise to give the spells to a mage of such low power. Etsu sighed and left the tower. Now etsu made his way back to the castle, by this time the sun was already begining to set. He first made his way back to the blacksmith to check the progress of his weapons. The smith assured etsu that they would be finished by morning and ready for pick up. Satisfied by the smith etsu continued back to the castle now using his powers and the extra shadow from the setting sun to practice his shadow walking. Though he did get odd looks from the villagers, not really knowing what to make of it. As he walked he remembered his cloak, and the spells he had learned for it. So etsu began to practice them, first he made the cloak look as if it were aflame, then as if it were water cascading off of him, and lastly he put his hood up and tried to blend with his surroundings as to look invisible. The last of these spells etsu could not hold for very long, the invisibility spell was far to draining for a low level mage like him to hold for more than a minute or two at a time. Though this was long enough for him to randomly attempt to take small items from people to see if they would notice, of course he returned the items after taking them. Most of the villagers were amazed and mystified by his ablates however others were very mad to have found there items taken so easily. Etsu did this about three times before being too exhausted to continue. Also he was not at the castle gate. After talking to the guards’ etsu was allowed to enter the castle again. Now etsu walked through the castle and into the garden, where he summoned the door to his house and put away all of his items. Etsu left his house in only his shirt and pants, and walked to the bath. He didn't know the next time he would have the opportunity to take a bath, let alone in a castle. After a bit of walking mostly lost etsu finally made his way to the bath. Once inside etsu disrobed and entered the bath it was very hot, which made etsu jump. Then etsu adjusted to the heat and began to bathe, once done etsu took a clean robe and walked into the sauna where he sat and relaxed. For many hours etsu just sat in the sauna and collected his thoughts and began to plan how he would make it through this adventure alive. | |||

| Name: Shintaro Kiyomitsu
Gender: Male Age: 22 Occupation: Underling and Teacher of his father's Dojo Weapons: One Katana (right) and one Tanto (left). Strapped to his back, two pump action shotguns. Lastly on his belt were fourteen extra shells, three in front of each sword and eight along the back of the belt. Clothing: He wore, black jeans and a black shirt with red flannel over shirt, and a jacket tied to his waist in a manner that left the hilts of his swords unobstructed. He also carried an extra pair of glasses (near sighted to a point of almost blindness) in his jacket pocket, incase something went wrong with his contacts. Description: He stands at 5'10" 170lbs, with a fit yet not over muscular build. He has dark black hair, and brown eyes. He also has a light tan complexion from all the training done outside. Transport: A bicycle left on the side of the road, by what he assumed was an attacked survivor as there was a lot of blood on the bike when he found it. History: Born in Koriyama Japan, where he studied the art of Kendo. He and his family moved to America when he was seven. Where his father opened a school for Kendo in New Fall City. Shintaro continued to study the art of Kendo, and study the code of Bushido. For the reason that his father wish for him to run the school when he died or was no longer able to. In this way he would pass something along to future generations. So it was the Shintaro studied Kendo and Bushido preparing to take over his father. That was until the day the virus broke the city in panic and ruin. The school obviously closed with no more students to teach, his father moved back to Japan with his mother and two younger children. However Shintaro stayed behind to wait, if after enough time the city became safe he call his father and have him return with the rest of his family. If not Shintaro too would leave back to Japan to figure out what his family would do. It was early morning when Shintaro left his family Dojo. Even with the city infested with zombies and other various undead, he still continued to train not only in Kendo but also the rest of his body. So that assuming the city is cleared of the infestation he may still take over his father's Dojo as head master. As per his usual routine he jogged up the city block and continued for five or so miles until he began to become winded. At which point he would stop in to the liquor store that was left pretty much unopened or damaged. He assumed that the owners just ran from the city like the rest as soon as the news broke. Which was why the store was still fully stocked and ready pretty much for a normal business day. Shintaro walked into the store and strait to the bottled water section. He look around till he found an unopened bottle, there were many there since the owners had left so quickly there weren't may zombie or undead types who bothered the store since it was devoid of any thing that would suit them to eat or drink. So he knew it was safe to eat anything that wasn't opened or damaged. Since there was no power in the store and assumebly through out the entire town he stayed away from anything that expired quickly. After drinking about a litter of water he once again ventured out of the store and jogged back to the Dojo. Once there he practiced his kendo, and read the books that he kept on Bushido until about noon, or what he assumed was noon since the sun was in the middle of the sky. At which point he made a pot of rice, and green tea. Since both of which were non-perishable items he knew he could stockpile them. This was his food for the most part along with any meat he could find that wasn't contaminated, there was very little of that still remaining. So what he could find he cured with salt and other spices, so that it would remain as fresh as possible and would also be left alone by any undead that happened by. Now done with lunch he once again took up to practicing Kendo, and memorizing his books about Bushido. Until the sun was almost ready to start into a sunset. At which point he once again took a jog this time in the opposite direction, for he knew from a very painful experience that there were many a zombie that would come out of what ever pit they lay in at that point during the day in the other direction and near the store he used as a stopping point. This day he had decided to take his bike, well not his but a bike for which its owner assuming him alive would not miss at this point, and began to ride. As he did he noticed the zombies come out a few of which noticed him and took chase, though they were far too slow and unsteady to keep up with him on his bike. He continued to ride until he heard an odd sound coming from and old church (well old as far as a new town was concerned). It was neither the normal sound of zombies nor the disturbing sound of the undead mutations that would frequent this part of town. Instead he heard the almost unfamiliar voice of people talking. At first he couldn't tell if this was just his mind playing tricks or if they were real. He decided to chance it and ride ever closer to the sounds hearing them grow louder. They from what he could tell came from inside the church; this was just odd as far as he knew. "Are there really survivors?" he wondered as he crept ever closer. He continued to ride ever closer to the sound of chatter. Until such time as he heard the yelling of a man, something about zombies. It was at this point he got off his bike and took the hilt of his sword not yet unsheathing it, for he didn't want to seem threaten as he entered for fear of being shot, or worse. Though he kept his hand on the hilt of his Katana as he entered the church leaving his bike lying on the steps to the church. Once entering he saw the small group of people, it was truly an odd sight to behold after living in the city for what seemed like an eternity without seeing any living souls. He looked to the group, mostly males and just stood in shock. He slowly walked towards Asuka who was bandaging the wounds of another female, sitting down. As he walked ever closer his hand still on his hilt until he was directly behind her. "Are you all survivors?" was the first obvious and stupid question to come out of his mouth, after he blushed. Since zombies would neither speak in a conversation like manor or much at all. Nor would they bandage there wounds let alone each others. He took his hand from his sword and used it to smack his fore head, "Of course you are survivors, why else would you be here in this now God for saken town. Which makes it ironic that you are here in a church of all places." With that he stood and looked around to the group. "Well I am Shintaro Kiyomitsu." As he spoke he bowed to the group and as he rose "You all may call me Taro. Heck call me what ever you want, I am just glad to see someone still alive in this awful city. | Quickly getting his wits about him, after the shock that is finding living people in this most dead town. "Ok" He said as he stood. "Which way to the Humvee? Although I don't personaly beleave in spliting up. If the rest of you feel it is best, then I will follow." Puting his hand on the hilt of his katana, and walking behind jobes.
"I think that we should swing by my house since we are going cross town. I have two guns and more ammo, along with melee weapons for those who want them. Secondly there is a larger store that has ammo and possably weapons near my dojo. Since we will be going into a hostal zone, we should be prepared. Also I have non perishable food and a small generator there that can be loaded onto this Humvee easly enough. Lastly there is a ham radio that doubles for a police scanner at my dojo that could come in handy." After that long winded speach of sorts he stood quiet listening for undead or zombie activity, scanning the room and walking carefully outside seeing only two slowly moving zombies. Taro, quickly sprints to the zombies walking next to the humvee. He draws his sword and almost in a single motion decapitaes the two zombies sheathing his sword in the process. After which continues to scan the area around the humvee listing for anything else that maybe in the area. Also watching the backs of anyone who exist the church. | "Agreed" As he spoke jumping into the humvee. "Its not too far to my place, it took me six minutes or so by bike" Taro pointed to the bike and then forward in the direction of his place. "Just drive forward until you get to Oak Street, from there it is just a few businesses down. Once we get there I will load up everything I have, it won't take long. You three can sit at the car; possibly find a smaller less noisy way to travel. If nothing else a smaller more fuel efficient car. Since it is not only the sound of the car, but also the heat generated by the engine that will attract them. So on foot is best but slow, if we can find an electric car or a hybrid that would be the best mode of travel aside from on foot or bike."
With that Taro hoped into the back of the humvee, seeing Chris fire off at the zombies. "I also agree with Rico, don't kill what isn't about to kill you. We have scarce amount of ammo, and I don't know how much will be at the Army base. I would feel it best if we use Melee weapons for those able. I personally am much better with a sword than a gun." Taro looks to Asuka "well I have been trained in Kendo since the age of five. So I am good with a sword though if too badly out numbered, I always carry my shotguns." he pointed to his back where his two shotguns were strapped in a crisscross fashion preloaded and cocked. He looked back to Rico, "I do think it would be best if we attacked the Army base at night. If these things are getting as smart as I think they are. They will leave the base at night to feed, which will leave less for us to deal with. During the day I would assume they use the base much like they were using the church to shelter in and confine any enemies that would attack while they are weak. | Etsu wakes, the sauna haveing put him to sleep mid thought. It is now early moring the sun just cresting over the horizon. "Well today it the day." Etsu stood and walked out of the sauna and into as small changing room putting his clothes back on. He then walked out of the bath and down the hall then out into the court yard. He opened his still summoned door to his house from the shadows and ventured in. Once inside he walked around picking up all the things he would need for the day. He got his bow, putting it across his chest, and sheathed his daggers and sword, then though about the other daggers he ordered. Also he put on his new quiver and filled it with arrows only taking along five of the holy arrows. After finishing dressing and preparing he walked out of his house and back into the new light of day.
Now etsu though about his newly forged daggers, so he walked to the smith. This took more time than he though since he was now tired and hungry from that nite in the sauna. Once there he took his daggers and payed the other half of what was owed. Now compleatly broke etsu dipped into the shadows and emerged in the dinning hall. Etsu was far to hungry and tired to walk all the way back so the teleportation as of such was the fastest and quickest way. Once there he saw Artemis along with Pel, and Dave. "Hello to you," He bowed and then sat at the table across from Dave. Then looked to Pel, "Hello there are you new to this group. You look farmilar though I don't think we have formaly met yet. I am Etsu Matsuya, and you are?" Etsu continued to look at Pel waiting for a reply. Though he also took an apple from a close by tray and began to eat. He was oddly hungry and somewhat tired. |

| "Yes I knew I say you somewhere before. Good to see you have changed your mind somewhat and decided to join us. As far as food, I can make my own. So I will just help myself, since your staff is very helpfull." With that Etsu walked into the kitchen and started to make his own breakfast. He walked around the kitchen bumming into the staff running around making the offial breakfast. Etsu made himself a cut of steak with some potatos and some rice along with some green tea(Or what ever would be the equivalent is). Etsu returned with his meal and then began to eat, waiting for the rest of the group to enter and the real adventure to begin. | |||

| Etsu was stund as he was hit with the broom and shoved back out of the kitchen. "Ow" He walked back to his seat and watched as Avron walked and sat, along with Elara and Shadow. "Well excuse me... I am not used to being serverd on let alone by the Queen of the castle." Etsu just continued to sit there thinking and twitched his nose. After thinking for a bit, "Ok today being the offical start to what shall be an intresting to say the least travel. I do but wounder where we are going to enter the underdark? Also about how long will we be traveling through there?" As he finished started to look around and see what was being put out. Still waiting till after it was all finished before starting. | |||

| "Sounds like a plan to me." Once at the dojo taro sprints out and into the second story of the dojo. Inside he packs all of the food into a large camping backpack, along with his simple futon and the generator fully fueled sraped to the botom. His two shotguns straped once on each side of the camping backpack.
Taro storms out of the apartment above the dojo, though once getting to the stairs runs into three zombies. He unsheaths his sword and quickly decapitaes the zombies with swift slices. As he exits killing another two, zombies. All of the zombies were bloodless so there was no splater on his clothes and sword, which disturbed him. Once with the others "Ok the Wal-mart is just three blocks this way." Taro points down in the western direction. "If we hurry we can get there in about ten minutes or so" as he finishes pointing he hands a pistol to Asuka, "Here you shouldn't be without a gun." Taro puts the other gun on the outside of the pack, then hands each person two gernades. "Just incase, the rest of the ammo for the pistols is in the outer pocket of this pack." He points to it and then slings the pack back on. "There is also a canteen of water hanging from the bottom of the pack if anyone wants it as we walk." With that he sheaths his sword and begins to walk in the direction of the wal-mart. |

| "I disagree, I can go alone. I stand a much better chance of getting in and out silently to prevent swarming. Also I know this store better than any of you. It won't take me long to get what we need and get out. The camping gear we want will be on the second floor near the back wall, as for the weapons they are also on the second floor near the west wall. The food is on the first floor and near the east wall; there are escalators in the middle of the store. I can easily go in and grab three more camping backpacks and ammo once I have the packs and ammo. I will go to the food section and packing enough non-perishable food into those packs to make it to the center of town, and still leave enough room for more weapons and ammo once we reach the army base, then moving as quickly as passable out of there. If I don't make much noise I shouldn't have any problem with zombies, being that it is fairly dark in the store, not much light for them to see anything. Though if I am not back in twenty minutes just take my pack and go to the army base."
After speaking Taro bolted inside and silently up to the middle of the store, he could see a few zombies wandering around on the first floor. None of them noticed him as he made up the escalator. Once upstairs he looked and saw the camping gear he wanted, he managed to grab the three packs with out disturbing the other zombies on that floor. Once he hand the packs he made his way to the guns and ammo department on the other side of that floor. He was doing fine until he tripped and fell making just enough noise for the zombies to notice him. As he stood he took the largest object he could find an empty canteen and threw it across the store making a large noise as it hit a display knocking it to the ground. With that taro made it to the right section and began loading the packs with ammo. He filled each pack with 120 rounds of ammo, after which the packs now much heaver he managed to make it back to the center of the second floor and down the escalators with little to no noise made. Now back down on the first floor, he made it to the food section. As he did start to fill the packs with as much food as he could find, he filled them with various crackers and trail mix. After filling the packs half way with food, which would be more than enough to make it to the center of town. Taro went over to the bottled water section and filled the canteens on the packs with water, each pack having a half gallon canteen. Once taro had filled the canteens he made his way out of the store, by this time the packs were very heavy combined which made him become unbalanced and fall over. This made a loud crash, such a sound that could be heard even outside the store where he left the others. After picking himself up he finished making his way to the exit and outside to the others, where he dropped there bags in front of them and also picked up his in the process. “Ok see that didn’t take me more than fifteen minutes. Though my last fall might draw those zombies inside out her, so I recommend we start walking to the base as fast as possible.” Once again taro took the lead and started walking until he realized, he had no clue which way the base was. “Ok which way is the base?” he spoke looking to Chris, “You should probably take the point since you know where we are going better than I do.” |

As for seeing in the dark, we don't really need to you can hear them a mile away. Though thats just my oppion what every the group decides is fine by me." Taro then took off walking in the direction Chris told him, waiting to see who was smart enough to join him. As he walked killing a zombie or two that appeared from the shadows with silent yet effective attacks. As he walked he though for a moment. "Wait I have a better mode of travel that I should have though of earlyer." Taro droped his bag and ran back inside the Wal-Mart. He hacked and slashed his way and returned moments later with two bikes. After which he walked back in the store and once again returned with two more bikes this time one male and one female. Taro wiped off his sword and sheathed it, now taking his pack and getting on the bike and ridding off a block ahead then looked back and waited for the others. | Etsu walks to the stables with everyone else, and then mounts the horse offered to him with one quick hop. He was quite used to horses and knew how to ride quite well. He rode with the others but also almost without notice or real though he was constantly scanning the area, almost searching for something. As the rode and entered underdark his eyes only scaned more closely trying to notice every detail even things moving in the shadows. For Etsu didn't like the underdark, and was very uneasy while in it. When they got into town he dismounted and followed the group into the tavern, noticing Avron depart from the group to deal with his horse. Though as the group entered the tavern etsu entered the shadows and disapeared into them, now following the group in the shadows almost compleatly unseen, except for a faint glimmer of his eyes. He stood in the corner of the tavern compleatly engulfed in the shadows, unseen by most yet constantly scanning the room for anything unusual. Etsu not really knowing of Artemis's past but still some what aware of it. He watched as Avron entered the tavern after dealing with his horse and join the group. He felt odd as the woman walked into the tavern not really knowing what to make of his feeling he continued to scan the room. He only noticed her for a split second and huffed. Then went back to scanning the room, now with his bow at his side and ready to defend his group, should something happen. | |||

| Taro follows both Chris and Rico into the base. After entering the base and hearing the two talk he walks over to the weapons locker and enters the code. As it unlocks and opens he looks around finding what he was looking for. He walks into the locker and grabs to chest straps and puts them around his chest, then proceeds to load them with ammo and flashbangs. He knew that the zombies while not sencitive to light were very sencitive to sound and would be made deaf for several minutes after a attack with a flashbang. This would either give him time to flee or kill what ever was standing in his way. Taro also took two pistols and two silencers along with the matching straps and put them on his legs. Then walked out of the locker and rejoined Rico and Chris. "Its fine by me if we stay here the nite. Though I would recomend we try to use the bases comunications aray to contact those other surviors asumeing they are still alive." | |||

| In one quick breath, Etsu prepared himself and then in almost as fast as the girl could think, he recited his entire life story in about three or four minutes so quickly as not to give the girl time to speak herself. He told the story right up to the minute he was dragged from the shadows. "Now, I have told you all that you could EVER wish to know about me. So how about you release me from under your body and then tell me twho things, one how were you able to drag me from the shadows, and secondly why is such a young girl wearing such ODD armor doing on the edges of underdark?" With that etsu pushed the girl aside and sat down at the table on to which she was now laying, and ordered himself a bottle of elven wine, he knew it wouldn't be anything really strong since they are soo far from the elven woods, though it would also be sweeter than the Dwarven spirtes and proably cheaper.
OOC: You suck!  Secondly how in the hell was she able to see me let alone drag me out of the shadows SO fast as not to have time for me to react. |

| Taro drew his katana and followed jobes. "I would recomend only using weapons that can be equped with a silencer, and using only those weapons unless faced with numbers dictaing otherwise. Since as was stated earlyer, these zombies are attacked to sound. So being that we would like to atract as few as posable, I feel slencers or melee weapons would be best."
He then walked infront of Jobes. "Ok you tell me which way to go, and I will take point since I have a quiter weapon, and also the training to deal with large numbers in stessfull situations. Secondly I would prefer to us as little amo as posable. So which way first?" Continuing to walk slowly and very alertly forward. |
