A friend forwarded this to me. It's rather silly, but it's good for a cheap laugh here or there.

If Santa Answered His Mail Honestly.....

Deer Santa,
I wud like a kool toy space ranjur fer Xmas.
I'v ben a gud boy all yeer.

Yer Friend, Billy

Dear Billy,
Nice spelling. You're on your way to a
career in lawncare. How about I send
you a book so you can learn to read and
spell? I'm giving your older brother the
space ranger. At least HE can spell.

Santa

*****************************************************

Dear Santa,
I have been a good girl all year, and the
only thing I ask for is peace and joy in
the world for everybody!

Love, Sarah

Dear Sarah,
Your parents smoked pot when they had you,
didn't they?

Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
I don't know if you can do this, but for
Christmas, I'd like for my mommy and
daddy to get back together. Please
see what you can do.

Love, Teddy

Dear Teddy,
Look, your dad's banging the babysitter
like a screen door in a hurricane. Do you
think he's gonna give that up to come
back to your frigid mom, who rides his
ass constantly? It's time to give up that
dream. Let me send you some Legos instead.

Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
I want a new bike, a Playstation 2, a train,
some G.I. Joes, a dog, a drum kit, a pony
and a tuba.

Love, Francis

Dear Francis,
Who names their kid 'Francis' nowadays?
I bet you're gay. I'll set you up with a
Barbie.

Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
I left milk and cookies for you under the
tree, and I left carrots for your reindeer
outside the back door.

Love, Susan

Dear Susan,
Milk gives me the shits and carrots
make the deer fart in my face when
riding in the sleigh. You want to do
me a favor? Leave me a bottle of
Scotch.

Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
What do you do the other 364 days
of the year? Are you busy making toys?

Your friend, Thomas

Dear Thomas,
All the toys are made in China. I have
a condo in Vegas where I spend most of
my time making low-budget porno films.
I unwind by drinking myself silly and
squeezing the a$$es of cocktail waitresses
while losing money at the craps table.
Hey, you wanted to know.

Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
Do you see us when we're sleeping,
do you really know when we're awake,
like in the song?

Love, Jessica

Dear Jessica,
Are you really that gullible? Good
luck in whatever you do. I'm skipping
your house.

Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
I really want a puppy this year.
Please, please, please, PLEASE,
PLEASE could I have one?

Love, Timmy

Dear Timmy,
That whiney begging shit may work
with your folks, but that crap doesn't
work with me. You're getting a sweater
again.

Santa

****************************************************

Dearest Santa,
We don't have a chimney in our house.
How do you get into our home?

Love, Marky

Dear Mark,
First stop callling yourself 'Marky', that's
why you're getting your ass whipped at
school. Second, you don't live in a house,
you live in a low-rent apartment complex.
Third, I get inside your pad just like the
boogeyman does: through your bedroom
window.

Sweet dreams, Santa

Answering my own question out of boredom...

The newly published Jack Kerouac and WIlliam S. Burroughs book And the Hippos Were Boiled in Their Tanks. They wrote it together long before they wrote their respective books that made them famous: On The Road for Kerouac, Naked Lunch for Burroughs.

It was only published this year because Burroughs wanted it published after all the people considered had already died, as it's based on a true story with names and some of the details changed.

Have you ever had a remarkable teacher who showed you ideas and other such things past what they were really supposed to teach you?

But still funny.

It's weird how that works, TP... er, PT. You think you did terrible and you come out with an A, but then the ones you feel you blew out of the water--damn, does it burn when those come back lower than you expected.

Took the final yesterday. Not really feeling confident about it, but then again when I turned in the short answer part of it my prof threw a fit when she saw how much I wrote remarking that it was way more than necessary saying, "You know I have to grade all of these, right?!"

Then don't ask so many questions and expect us to be thorough in answering it all...

Got a history final tomorrow and a bio one after that. Should probably study.

All right, so after the hiatus, we just might be revisiting New Orleans. Hooray!!

How friggin' anti-climactic, though, with the super soldier. This season is just filled with disappointing endings and twists.

I'm surprised Margaret Cho had only one line in that. Seems like most of these pro-gay, L.A. productions tend to feature her rather prominently with solos and such.

It's kinda sad they put this out AFTER the election.

Keanu Reeves Hopes to Star in Live-Action Cowboy Bebop
posted on 2008-12-17 15:04 EST

Matrix/A Scanner Darkly actor says plot outline is partly based on 1st episode

Actor Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly, Johnny Mnemonic) told the MTV Movies Blog that he hopes to play the lead role in Twentieth Century Fox's proposed live-action film adaptation of Sunrise's Cowboy Bebop multi-genre action anime series. Erwin Stoff, a film producer who worked closely with Reeves on The Matrix and A Scanner Darkly, told the IFMagazine.com entertainment website in July that a film development deal was signed. Stoff and Reeves both emphasized a desire to remain faithful to the original work.

Reeves said that Cowboy Bebop's "Western film noir aspect, […] that kind of Old West, bordertown, low-tech science fiction aspect" attracted him to the project. He added that Stoff and the development team have already hired a writer who is penning a scene outline. Right now, the outline includes a drug, developed by the military, that is partially based on an element from the anime. Reeves explained, "We're taking the Red Eye [story], the beginning part of the series." He acknowledged that the episodic nature of the story will be difficult to adapt into a feature-length work: "[…] It's got so much of an origin-story obligation; you've got to get people up to speed, but you don't want to do much of that. There are a lot of things to take into consideration, but we think we can do something good."

Reeves is self-professed fan of anime and science fiction. He personally attended the opening day of the first (and last) North American branch of Japan's ANIMATE store chain in Los Angeles on December 23, 2000. He also reprised his Neo role from The Matrix in the Japanese-animated "Kid's Story" segment of The Animatrix video anthology. Not coincidentally, "Kid's Story" was directed by Cowboy Bebop director and co-scriptwriter Shinichiro Watanabe.

Watanabe's original Cowboy Bebop series follows the motley crew of the spaceship Bebop as it travels throughout the solar system in search of the next job. The anime distributor Bandai Entertainment and Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block released the 1998 television series in the United States, and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the subsequent 2001 animated movie. The anime was also adapted into two separate manga series, and Tokyopop released both manga series in North America.

My dad had a friend back in the '60s who had the same problem at a carwash she managed. Every week this old guy rolled in with his Cadillac, paying for a $1 carwash with a $100 bill.

Despite his smugness and her getting pissed off, she still made the change anyway, every week. One week, she got pissed off enough that prior to his weekly visit, she hit up the bank and changed $99 for 9900 pennies.

He never came back.

I guess it's just a matter of flashing that you've got money for these people.

Well, my fuck you for the day.

Fuck you, you old hag who back in April did something rather stupid and dangerous and said it was okay because you're "from Africa" and you know better than anyone. Then you Google yourself and pick fights with people who were describing your stupidity to others because you're oh-so self-righteous and people from Africa are more in-touch with nature.

You were under threat of being crushed by stacked blocks of ice...

What's more it's quite underhanded that you Photoshop'd the pictures of yourself being an idiot to try and make yourself look blameless.

It figures. Tim Burton was bound to have another whimsical piece with Johnny Depp in a starring, or at least supporting, role.

Not at all surprised that it's Wonderland this time.

Well, check out Johnny as the Mad Hatter here:

Any bets on if the music will be done by Danny Elfman?

And in this case, the same star.

The goth chicks will eat this up.

Just like they've done all the Burton/Depp or Burton/Elfman, but still quite often Burton/Depp/Elfman flicks.

So we're coming up on another major traveling for some, kick back and do nothing days for others.

Any plans for your holidays and/or respective breaks?

I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing this year. Was planning on Arizona again with the boyfriend's family, but our car's not really up to the trip--we're concerned one of the wheels might fall off on the highway going that fast for more than half an hour at a time. Rest stops are few and far between.

I hoping we can hitch a ride with our friend who's heading out there with his parents and talk him into taking him truck instead and we'll pay the gas.

Anyway, this week's still up in the air. My cousins are in town and I may or may not have to shuttle around one of my cousin Carrie's kids who wants to see L.A.

You know it's the holidays when you sit down at your computer and find "ashley tisdale's boobs" in the Google search bar at the top. Ah, family.

Yeah, I know that feeling on this end as well. Both my family and boyfriend's aren't doing presents this year, mostly because in each family one loud-mouthed control freak is insisting no one give anyone anything for one reason or another. In Brandon's family, his aunt doesn't want to feel guilty for not giving anyone anything, so it should even.

And in mine, my aunt feels that her presents weren't appreciated (she mostly gives shirts and sweatshirts from casinos she gambles in), and she's using the economic climate as her excuse.

Oh well. C'est la vie.

I just hope I can leave town.
