Been here for maybe 3 and a half years? I had my absence back in '06 and that's when activity seem to take a nose dive. A lot of people missed me and I felt really bad. By the time I came back it was too late. Only a few of us remain to keep it alive. Sometimes I wonder if I was the cause for the inactive apocalypse. In fact, it seems ACMLM boards have been dropping in size over the past few years. I remember when I first discovered them thousands of people were joining and requesting the PHP code like mad. Vizzed board is the only one I know of besides Acmlm's place that is still going strong. Actually Xeo, you might want to consider linking Vizzed as an affiliate. | I'm an avid sim-battler. I used to do it all the time a couple years back. I was even part of staff of a board dedicated to simbattles until it died down. In fights I make a lot of long posts with many actions strategies. When it comes to RPs I like to be desctiptive. I haven't done either of those in a long time. Simbattling went down when people stopped posting at Acmlm board over past few years. I remember times when those specific forums rivaled General forums in activity. Lot of people did battles and RPs back then. Bad-ass stuff. But if you want to start something, any of will join. | |||

Well, well. Getting married already, huh? Who's the lucky guy? Good stuff to ya, True. (noticed the name change again. )
I've actually the opposite of everyone here it seems. My unit is getting ready to send the first group of people back to the states (next week). Less and less work is what we have everyday. Some things are packed up in the motor pool which means the mechanics can't do much work. Which in turns creates less work for me since I order the parts they need to install on the vehicles. Once the replacing unit begins arriving and certain personnel start to take over my job I'll be basically showing up for work in the morning to so if everything is alright and then going back to my room for the rest of the day, playing Call of Duty or whatever. Supposedly. We'll see if that really happens, but my soldier and I have been taking early lunches for the past week and a half and going home early on days we don't have much work.  |

| That's good to hear. I happy that you found someone good enough to marry. Just make sure you put your all into the marriage and do lots of things together. Going through events and other things brings two people closer to each other. So when you finally get hitched and get back from your deployment don't just "sit around the house". It's gonna lead to problems sooner or later. And get him to make you laugh.

| I don't see the point of me buying clothing that expensive. I don't if other people notice something like. That they can tell how much your jeans were (unless they study them in magazines or whatever) and if the design/graphics on it were worth it. I couldn't get my self to buy something like that. Not jeans. Maybe, if a, expensive shirt looked really, really good and looked good on me I would consider the purchase. | |||

| Well, first of all let me say it's good to see you after a while. Maybe you've been around recently, but I haven't seen your face here much for some reason.
It's great that you're into a good band. I believe you're the first person here to do so. The music is definitely unique. I can say that much. I don't think I've really heard neofolk, and ambient music is one of my favorite types. The songs that I've listened to on your Myspace could really be of awesome use in something like a Wild West-themed game or movie. I don't know if there are supposed to be vocals with the music on your page, but it does sound good.
