I know, but like I said in my first post, all the parts I have have just been laying around my room collecting dust,

I have a trial version of windows server 2003 that im going to mess around with for a bit, then im going to switch over to linux and apache or somthing later just to see how they are. like I said before, it's a learning experience for me, and the more experience I have with some of this stuff.. then I will be better suited to get a job

We acctually had a big discusion on this the other day in class. What should we do about it and such.

One of the main reason's that we dont do good enough is that we dont have enough gaurds out there, I think the statistics my teacher gave us is that there is one gaurd for every mile of border. that leaves way to many wholes for people to get through.

If we post snipers then we will have huge law suits from random people because of it... unless they dont find out.. .but more than likely they will..

What I think most of my class came up with is that we should build the giant brick wall.. but then the problem of cost of labor and such came up... I would say more.. but I dont want to burn any britches today, so if you want the rest of what im getting at.. just pm me or something.. lol I just dont want a argument

Awsome, I will take a look when I get home, I should be getting a power supply and cd drive by the end of the week.

The owners of Computers 2 Kids are going to let me go through there storage shed and take what I want because there giving everything away to some PC repair shops around here, the owner Jerry got fired from his job for some lame ass reasons that I wont talk about here, but almost a week after getting fired he got hired with Intel up in the washington area. so they cant take everything along.. so yea. .im ganna miss them

Well.. some of you may know that my hard drive died a few days ago, and unfortunetly I had a very important paper on it. I cant seem to get it off the hard drive and now im pretty much screwed on graduating on time if I dont get the paper in soon, my english teacher isnt really cutting me any slack on it either.

What I ask.. Could anyone find links to any site that's lagit and gives info on computer technology and it's affects on the world today, If anyone could help me out it would be great. for those of you who know how hard it is to get info that's good and well kept is hard now adays, so you might feel my pain. I need at least 10 sources for the paper,

like I said, any help would be great.. if I dont get this done I wont be graduating =/

Putting the Hard Drive into a slave is easy, you just need to follow the instructions on the HD case itself...There are these little clips that you can insert on the....IRG (sp?) port of the HD...I dunno if its called an IRG...but its something like that...its the cause of turning the hard drive into a slave or not...

Lol, dont worry ive tried... the drive is dead, I was talking to my boss about it asking him if he could help out and stuff.. but it turns out that the drive I had has had a series of problems, one of them being that it will die

what it does... it revs up so you think it's loading or something, then it starts clicking like it's missing something, you then get a drive read error, it wont even load windows.

the drive I had was a 27 gig IBM Deskstar, more like IBM DeathStar.. >.<

also I know how to set slave drives up.. you take the pin in the back of the drive and put it in position where it says slave, then you make sure there is no pin in the master at all.. or put it in the master slot..
