| Actually race is arbitrary. Rather arbitrary indeed. The only reason that such a thing has any meaning, is because people give it meaning. A lot like borders. Or any Idea of identity. If those ideas of identity lead to blind hate.
I agree with Venomouslobster. The activity is dumb. As for society or normals. They aren't laws of the natural world. And can proven wrong. So why let other people's ideas keep anyone down? But as for the web sight, eh. I find it dumb. But I find a lot of other things dumb. But the world is full of dumb people, and dumb things. One can't get too worked up over it. |

And yes, depravation dose lead to depravation. But that's a whole different can of worms all together. And I curious as to why you are so hard up on this. Nobody has denied that minority's are havening a bit of a hard time about life. But so dose everyone. Inner city kids, no mater the race, are given up on. Gang neighborhoods are high crime areas, and schools in said areas are under funded. I've sat in on school board meetings. And at no point do they draw up a list and say "oh this school is full of them blackies, let's screw them over some more." Hell my family being part of the school system (Teachers, and board directors, and councilpersons) I get to watch the televised broadcasts of the LAUSD bard meetings. So you are saying that society normals/expectations have oh so much influence. But why? Is it because that they are universal laws? Or is it because people get too jumped up over them? I covered my thoughts of what society and what is thought to be either expected, or normal. You know you should actually read (As in understanding what you are reading and considering it) before just dismissing. You seem much too ready to attack others opinions and Ideas neighbor. As for your source. *reads* The biggest problem with something like this is that it goes off of a sampling. Not only that, but takes only one side of information. But doesn't show that underlying cause. I myself am quite off this demographic. Am I rare? No, not really. I know none of my white friends that would fall into this sampling. Them or their families. I'm also not quite sure what you are trying to show with the quickfacts URL. It dose support Xander's post of minority being, well... minority. (That and math is aperently not their strong point) Could you clarify? *Edit* Whiterose reminded me of a joke I've been meaning to post. *Edit #2* I posted the joke, but I felt it is going too far away from the topic of this thread. It makes me giggle. But to get any sort of bug, and use it as evidence, they would need a warrant. If they want to use anything they gather in court. If they just do it for no real reason, they are waisting time and resources. For some reason just the whole thought of this makes me giggle. |

Yes that was all types of wrong, but I found it fun. I like ellipsis. They are a useful tool. But should one use a hammer in place of a ratchet, then they are me on a really bad day. But as for my own personal resolutions. Hmmm... #1: To return to writing. As bad as it it, it'll only get worse if I don't work at it. #2: To join Venomuslobby in audition professionally. #3: To gain a little more ground on my personal demons. #4: LOSE WEIGHT!!! And get back to my fighting shape/condition. #5: Get a more long term job. #6: To stop shooting myself in the foot, in the respect of classes. And lastly, with the least amount of hope. #7: to stop beating myself up, and comming down on myself so f***ing much. |

I love this video. The guy basically straps a rocket powered ultralight to his but and takes a jump. I love it. As close to unassisted flight so far. The video from the chase plane is shaky at points, but good enough to show that he is a rocket flying crazy man. And I love it. I want one. I wonder if I can get some simulator time next time I got for my pilot's license training, But flight school has nothing for ultralights, or experimental air craft. Oh, yeah by the way I want one. *looks at previous argument on flight.* *Laughs* |
