I agree with Rogue on this one, though I do think that the artist should decide what they are and not the public. Sometimes a sub-genre shift doesn't hurt an artist so bad... Manson started off Death Metal and is now called Industrial and he's doing just fine.

Name: Kaylee Cambell Age:21 Family Relations: Father: Malcolm Cambell- A retired military pilot with an obsession for Chinese culture and literature. Eccentric as he is, he has always been a good father to Kaylee and encouraged her to go after her dreams. When the war broke out he felt guilty that he was too old to be any use and took to drinking, leading to fights with Rebekah. Mother: Rebekah Cambell- A loving woman with decent artistic talent, she did her best to make sure that her daughter had the best they could afford growing up. It wasn't much, but it was better than what she had. She owned a small bookstore, which got Kaylee started in her own obsessions. The recent spur of fights with Malcolm over his drinking have lead to a decline in her health, which causes both her daughter and husband no end of worry. Personality and background: The only child of a generally loving family from Los Angeles, Kaylee has a friendly disposition and always does her best to help out those that she calls her friends. She's often found with a book of some kind in her hands, usually a fantasy novel or D&D book. When her father started drinking she began playing RPGs to take her mind off it, and it worked well. She's always had a very vivid imagination and is prone to daydreaming. It caused a bit of trouble during her early school days when she would drift off during her math lessons wishing that a genie would appear to do her work for her. She does well in school for the most part though. Gratuated in the top 30% of her class in high school and has been on the Dean's List every semester at her college. She recently switched her major to History from Biology because the subject was losing it's fun to her. Once things are no longer fun to Kaylee she generally gives them up. She is easily discouraged in that reguard, thinking hard things to be often impossible to beat, or causing too much trouble to others. Most often it shows itself as a self-sacrificing politeness towards others. Kaylee has, or rather had, a loving boyfriend named John. He was recruited to fight in the war and recent came up as MIA. They were planning on getting married when he returned, but now she has no idea if he is even alive or not and it plauges her. Often she wakes up at night calling out his name and then crying herself back to sleep. She remains strong for him, and is willing to do anything to find out if he is okay.

That is what I am seeing, and it makes sense to me. Love and hate are both strong emotions, indifference is basically an absence of it. Makes sense that it would be the opposite of not only hate, but of love as well.

Either way, I think that indifference is overall far more destructive than either of the other two emotions can be.

Then again, me and WhiteRose were the high school nerds who could have intelligent and funny conversations with the quaterback of the football team and even decent joking fun with the gang bangers, the druggies, the bimbo sluts. Then go up to the Science Club after school for a D&D game.

I am currently an Attendant at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. It's a ocean liner tourned tourist attraction/hotel. I'm working in the Titanic Artifact Exhibition, and while the information is facinating it is all very sad... and thanks to my supervisor it is also getting very boring. He wants us to be zombies I tell you! "Don't entertain the guest at all, don't tell them extra information about the Titanic passenger on the Boarding Pass that they were given"(even though the guests love it because it adds so much more to the experience and makes it easier to part with that $17 to get in) "... just tell them the rules, give them the boarding pass, and/or thank them for coming. Don't talk to each other, don't take 3 steps from your spot even though no one has come in for the past hour and a half and it's five minutes til closing... etc"

The job pays $7.68/hour, nearly a dollar over the minimum wage... but there is NO fun in the job anymore and I've barely been there a month! Venomouslobster is working there too, we got hired together... so it's some small solace. Hopefully we will work our way up to Tour Guides so we won't have to deal with Bill (the cranky supervisor) anymore. Oh yeah, and for the most part our immediate coworkers are the most annoying in the world... ditzy, lazy, or complaining about EVERYTHING. Oh, and we have to wear navy blue polyester uniforms.
I've also worked as a monster at Shipwreck at the Queen Mary (the best job ever... no Bill!), and the Long Beach City College Bookstore as a rush season cashier (first two weeks of school when the slackers realize they need textbooks). Before getting this attendant job I thought the bookstore was the most boring/annoying job ever, but now I would kill for something like that again.
