This was a nice system, I think also the first one with the Nights games. Mine didn't last that long, but I remember Independence Day: the video game (yes that cool movie with will smith vs aliens with aircraft). Besides not having Will Smith in it, that was about the best arial combat game I've ever played, and a contender for the best movie based game. That was also when I was minimally into sports games, at least hockey, i had the NHL 1998 one I think. Good times.

This guy is my new hero in the piano/singing department. He has the raspeist voice ever, to the point where it sounds like he's gargling shrapnel. Lots of his music is pre-rock creepy vaudeville stuff.

Every once in a while I'll cut a rug, not often though...
I think the entire YTMND soundtrack makes me want to dance, and that covers a lot. I stopped going to schoool dances but I'd bust a move to lots of the hip hop songs, as much as I hated them. There's still the dance at band camp, which has slightly better music because we can request it (they played Robot Rock last year...that was so cool). |

All humans have the ability to love, and want to find out the source of the amazing gift that it is. The act of connecting and communicating with everyone else brings out the best feelings in us, a more complete sense of love. This feeling of community happens for no reason that we can understand, so we turn to religion which gives reason for gathering. It's what keeps us from being tools of eachother and turns us into corresponding gears of the most marvelous contraption.

cool!
I'm interested, I haven't been to the zoo in over a year, but used to go every other weekend in the fall/winter of 2004. I'll get back into drawing more, right now I've been focusing most of my talents to music since I'm in 2 bands. Cosplay sounds iffy, I'd do something elaborate and too hot for summer. I know of two other artists who would like to go, I'll tell them soon. There's a slight chance I won't make it because of marching band stuff, but if not I'll be there with plenty of original artwork. |

The most brilliant modern composer.... ..yeah!
I love so much of his music, I have no idea where to begin to start. He's done the most technically challenging pieces in his time, and also made what I consider the funniest songs ever. |

All CN needs to do is show Johnny Quest again, then they can put whatever else they want. That and Thundercats.

Hmm, this does fit in with my Sonic-DBZ connections theory, they already had the Vegeta character with Shadow and now this new hedgehog might be the Broly equivelant...
I'm not sure if I like Eggman's new style. I'd rather he go back to the round bumbling "bad guy" Dr. Robotnik than get an updated sleeker look. I'm guessing this will be a lot like SA1. (Last edited by Van Rhanell on 05-14-06 08:26 PM) |

I pretty much don't, as heat doesn't bother me. It gets just as hot in michigan as it does in the south, just not as long and less sun. The summer is usually when I get to work on video games I haven't touched in a while so I guess that keeps me away from the hottest of days. On a side note, I need to start drinking more water, I almost always feel dehydrated now.

In the words of Tiny Tim, "Things that bother you never bother me". That covers almost everything, but I'm still not always happy as pie. From middle school on, my self-esteem dropped and I didn't see the reward in getting angry. Little disappointments throughout the day often grind my gears subtly, like my ice cream falling on the floor or partially missing a doorway or hearing kids my age talking about the news. The only thing that I could probably turn Super Saiyan from are certain parts from certain video games, like the mini-games in Super Mario Sunshine, the Gradius series, or the many repetative battles in SCII's Weapon Master. I seriously try praying for people instead of getting mad at them, if it doesn't help them at least it helps me.

Well, the long-abandoned rule is that nobody was supposed to swear, but so many people swear now that (aside from being irritating) there is no difference in 'strength' from words of vulgarity to saying the name of someone or something revered in vain. I'm just going to go with "it's all MTV's fault", most people don't or can't disagree.

I've always been terrific with Fox, and for a time could also majorly lay the smackdown with Mario. I hope they make another out of place character like Game & Watch, though Snake might've already taken that spot. Other than that, Ridley would be flippin sweet. On another note, Krystal or perhaps Fox w/that staff will likely be in this game.
Has anyone talked about possible new items yet? I'm thinking a mario kart that you could hop into and speed around in for a time, creating an effect similar to the hammer. Or the Flood thing from Super Mario Sunshine. Other cool stuff would be the many wierd items from Wario, like cake. |

Saw this on Saturday, I think the goods outweigh the bads by a lot. While both Gambit (my favorite) and Nightcrawler were absent, Juggernaut was a very entertaining suprise for me. Didn't see the spot at the very very end, but everyone was posting about it on 4chan so I knew of it about a half hour after the movie ended.
I think this saga is slightly character themed, like most stories with superpowers, where one character will have a profound effect in one movie and hardly exist in the next. I really liked Angel's role in this one, very short but also very meaningful. |

Dangit, people like her damage Christianity the same way suicide bombers damage Islam. I also don't see where anybody got "God hates fags" from, God may hate 'faggotry' if that's what you want to call it, but it's repeated a ton that He loves every human.
The Old Testament was not about God hating people, it was about consequences and prophecy. God cries for those who oppose him, the same way a caring father would cry for his daughter if she was the town floozy. It was a time of us proving ourselves worthy of Him keeping us in existance. The crusades actually were a really awful thing to go through with, there was much good but far too much bad in that move. Made for some neat stories at least. |

The President has hardly effected my life, I agree with his choices enough to think he's an alright guy, and local government people are much more important anyway. No leader is near perfect and you really shouldn't put all your trust in any of them, respect is the best thing you can offer. I hate most of pop culture and the media now for constantly making a joke of our leader. The economy is going up currently, and if this war really brings us closer to the end of the world then I'm glad; I've been waiting for it. I think most of the reason he's seen as stupid is because of the southern accent, and past bad speeches. That last State of The Union wasn't half bad though.

well, there's Blue Lake fine arts camp in late July, band camp shortly after that, and before that just lots of loafing. I'll still make my pilgramidge to the mall at least once a week to play ddr; I'm starting to get A's and AA's now . I guess I could get a job, which would suprise the heck out of me, but I need to get money to buy a good keyboard (screw cars), namely a Korg Triton. I'll be playing/writing music with my friends a lot, probably start drawing more, probably not being a hit with the ladies , and catching up on various games. School gets out in a little over a week for me, I don't mind.

Originally posted by Spyware heck yeah! I don't think the world's nearly in bad enough shape for something to happen today. If any unordinary tragedy happens, it will only be from the psychological impact such a date could have. It's kinda stupid how Omen comes out today and how Slayer's new album comes out today. Maybe a few more people will think a little about how hell might indeed exist, I expect lots of people will go to confession today as well. |

Revolutionary Etude by Chopin, the greatest etude ever by the greatest composer for piano. Apparently this recording is played by Jordan Rudess, which makes it more awesome. I have the sheet music to this song, it's something I still can stare blankly at without being able to sightread.

It could be for a number of reasons, but the fact that the lion went straight for him without hesitation is definitely a type of sign. Zoo animals are never so violent that they'd go straight for a person with intent on killing, most are afraid of people. It could have been that the guy had some sort of doubt in his mind, like when Peter went to meet Jesus walking on the water. Also, the people who witness and perform miracles like that happen to be the ones who pray the most, so this poor sap must have been unprepared in some way. I think this comes pretty close to a Darwin award.
Hmm, another thought, saying "God will save me" may not mean "God will save my life". The guy could have actually went to heaven, but this isn't too likely. |
