Well I mean I've had it installed forever, it was just weird because for a few weeks it all of a sudden stopped doing anything and said I had to upgrade to their pro service or something like that. Now all of a sudden its active again and working like it normally was.

Hehe, yeah. I'd imagine you'd also dig Scanner and Vicious Rumors? Also, you'd probably like Overkill, since you're into thrash. One thing I really like about them is that they don't have really raspy vocals like some bands at times (Metallica and Megadeth come to mind), the vocals are a little more clear and stuff. At least on their first album, Feel the Fire.
Rotten to the Core (alright maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but hey they're awesome!) Clock, you'd probably like Jag Panzer. But yeah, Dragonland's instrumental parts are just mindblowing when you're really into it. And the solo's sound like melodies straight out of a Megaman game or whatnot (I know I always say this, but yeah they've got it perfect). (Last edited by Metal on 12-26-06 01:55 AM) |

(for those who disliked it, shown in the Wii thread please just stay out? )
Spoiler for how long it took me to get everything ... Spoiler:
About 40 hours. Didn't bother with all the poe's though. Even though you've played most of it on the Gamecube, it'd be totally worth playing on the Wii again. The Wiimote really makes the experience even better. Even though it doesn't force to use the Wiimote too drastically or anything, the controls are just perfect and it feels completely natural. I had my doupts up to the point where I was putting the game in my Wii and starting it up, but now I can say I'd take the Wii controls over another controller of any kind anyday for Zelda. Although it'll never happen, I'd explode if Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and even Wind Waker got ported to the Wii with an option to enable the Wiimote and play those games with it. It'd just be amazing. I started up a 3 heart run and got about halfway before I just kind of stopped playing. One of my gripes with this game, is that it was insanely easy. I haven't even died once in my 3 heart run. Bosses were basically pathetic (minus Level 7). That, and although there was nothing wrong with the music, it was more atmospheric than melodic, which just felt a little different for Zelda. It just wasn't overall that memorable. But yeah, this game was amazing. Definitely a reason to pick up a Wii if you plan on it or for others out there. It doesn't beat out Link to the Past for me, but it probably ties with my 2nd favorite Zelda, Ocarina of Time. |

Yeah, I can say the same to just about everything you said.
The first one was pretty good I thought, but at the time of its release it was barely a speck of dust compared to Batman Begins. It wasn't really groundbreaking, overall good ... but yeah. So far though, this one sounds like it could be more series, darker, and all around better. But yeah, I myself am still puzzled as to just how exactly they plan to throw in the Silver Surfer and Galactus into this. It just seems like it could be really weird. That trailer was awesome though. So for now I guess I can say my hopes for this one are pretty high. |

Hmm, I don't think you had joined yet when Star Wars Episode III was new. I got over-excited and made a temp Star Wars forum, and made a global announcement the day the movie came out.
So yeah, I love my Star Wars. Looking back at III though, despite what I had said at the time, it was only great at some points ... especially the legendary duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan that I had waited for almost all my childhood life. My order: 1. Episode V or VI - I know, I know. But I seriously can never decide between these two. Episode V has the infamous Hoth battle, its darker, its a rollercoaster ride (seriously watch it again and see how nonstop that movie actually is, right from when they flee Hoth its a nonstop chase. And the music just makes it even more amazing). But, Episode VI has the ending glory, and one of the most epic duels in any film to date. Still to this day when I watch Luke take on Vader, and Vader save his son, I get the biggest chills. 2. Episode IV - Not as much Jedi action in this one, but its still incredible. I also think this one had the best music hands down. 3. Episode III - Better than II and I, and even though it blended in with IV a little bit it still had a scent of "too much Hollywood" and over the top effects, if that makes sense? Still, some of it was pretty emotional, and it was pretty cool to see Anakin become Vader. I don't know between Episode II and I. I think I'm really going to say I liked Episode I more. It had Qui-Gon, who was probably one of the best Jedi out there. Episode II for me ... just didn't have much going for it. Jango Fett was cool, it was cool to see the Death Star was being built, but other than that there's a few parts of that movie that I just really hated (the whole factory thing with R2 and C3PO, then the arena thing at the end. The whole horribly done love story between Anakin and Padma, and Anakin's horrible acting, Doukou is the worst Sith ever, etc). But I still like it, cause its Star Wars. Basically, nothing can touch the Old Trilogy, and the New Trilogy is okay but probably could've been more. (Last edited by Metal on 12-26-06 03:59 PM) |

So my point stands, Metal Slug is awesome.
I'd even say better than Contra ... |

I don't know what else to say? This just looks flat out amazing. Silver Surfer = Advanced T1000 with a surf board!

I wasn't being too serious, but I'm sure you know.
|
In looks, he did remind me of the T1000 though. But yeah, I seriously know next to nothing about the Silver Surfer, but after reading that ... I'm compelled to check out some comics and stuff.

Well it was fun when it lasted.

My condolences and appreciation goes to those who said "I'm glad this board isn't like others", its refreshing to me, to hear such things. But this has gone far too off topic. *destory*

Here's the hidden site. I haven't found out how to get into anything, but then again I haven't spent a lot of time on the site. Some rumors say its actually not really for the movie, but the game that will be based off of the movie. (restricted)
