You're not bad. Honestly, with how much time is passing it's not shocking to me any more when it comes to what people have never seen.
I used to be amazed when I'd hear teens say they'd never seen an episode of "I Love Lucy," but with every new generation there's fewer and fewer people who've seen it. Star Trek and Lord of the Rings, I could easily see not being exposed to these days, and heck, even Star Wars since it's not played everywhere, all the time. I'll put it to you this way. I was in a photojournalism class a couple years back. Our teacher was talking about Polaroids. One girl didn't know what the hell Polaroids were and ventured a guess, asking, "Are those the things you get on your ass?" If you haven't been exposed to something, who cares? Whatever, right? It's just a page where you can collect threads you love and would like to easily access.
Like Demi said, at the top right corner above a thread, there's a link that says "Add to Favorites" that's next to "Next older thread." Personally I don't really use the Favorites, but somehow there are a few threads in there. |

It's a tough call, honestly. By stopping Hitler I've saved millions of lives, including soldiers', I would have kept millions of families together, and on top of that I would have made it so people won't so easily break the Godwin's Law. And yet, I'd also be preventing the United States from breaking out of its isolationist shell, eventually becoming a leading world power. No one would gain the billions of lessons there were to learn from the experience.
By stopping Hitler it would completely change the world. Many of the writers, scientists, actors, poets, philosophers, and great minds that left the homelands and came here, were inspired to create in their new home. A lot of the art, music, movies, books, and anything that might have been inspired by this massive tragedy would be lost. You wouldn't have Superman, and several of the other heroes (Captain America, even). The Golden Age wouldn't exist, thus the Silver wouldn't have taken off so well. Hitler caused his enemies to rise up and join together and ally against this ultimate evil. The United States was never so unified as they were in WW2. Children collected scrap metals and papers. And WW2 pulled out of the Depression, made us eventually very prosperous. Geez. I'd sound like a monster if I said I wouldn't stop him. So yeah, I guess I would. If your country instituted a draft, and you got called during a war, would you go willingly? |

Yeah, it was really cloudy for the most part last night. We went down to the ocean, where it was sometimes clear, but most of the time the cloud coverage made it difficult to see.
Ended up watching it laying on my roof, in the back, and saw a few big and bright ones along with the smaller, fainter ones. |

Answer the door and go, "Hey let's hit up new comic book day at the local shop and kick back in my messy room watching crappy movies." And do just that.
One of your best friends is coming in from out of town. You're not dressed yet, you haven't even showered yet. Your room's a mess and he's on his way over to discuss what you're all going to do tomorrow. You've also got a party to go to that happening right now. What do YOU do? (FYI, this is all actually happening right now) |

Ashe from FFXII. Then I'd be queen of Dalmasca, AND I'd have Basch as a love interest. Mmmm... Basch. Yeah, I'm replaying FFXII right now.
How would you describe your dream house? |

Watching "King of the Hill." Hank's about to get raped by a dolphin.

Originally posted by Phoenix I have Mountain Dew in my nose. It burns. So... many... gay.. jokes. Back from the party. We watched British comedies, drank, and ate cupcakes. My boyfriend ate a foot-long burrito and we took sexy pictures of friends. Got a concert tomorrow night with my friend from out of town. We're seeing this pirate rock band at the House of Blues. Then there's the beach party on Sunday with other old friends. Good times. |

I saw it more than two weeks ago and I've been itching to watch it again.
One of my Facebook friends apparently saw it four times today. |

It's funny. When she got casted for Ramona, I knew her from "Sky High" and "Grindhouse" and I randomly recognized her in different things. When she has her hair like Ramona and I swear she looks completely different to me, as though Ramona is someone I don't know, whose fresh to moviemaking. | |||

Took this a couple years ago at Anime Expo:
I think it was Xeo who had the most to say about it. |

I was about to ask, "Are you guys talking about 'Enterprise'?" but that wasn't awesome at all.
There were tons of attachments to the original material, but seeing as it was an alternate universe, they didn't have to tie so many. But yeah, anyone (Trekkie, Trekker, or neither) could enjoy the recent J.J. Abrams-produced movie. But just a few of those ties: Spoiler: Scotty was assigned to this deserted icy section of a planet for beaming the admiral's dog, which didn't come out where it was supposed to be transported to. The dog in question belonged to Archer, the captain from the series, "Enterprise." Kirk takes the Kobayashi Maru test, which he hacks into so he could win in the no-win scenario. This references back to "Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan," when they show Savek taking her test and failing. It's then revealed that Kirk is the only person to have passed the test and they mention his re-programming the simulation. When we first meet McCoy, he mentions that he's just been divorced and the ex-wife took the whole planet. It's been referred to in the original material that McCoy used to be obscenely wealthy and owned his own planet like billionaires own islands. Kirk spends most of the movie trying to figure out what Uhura's first name is (which was never revealed in the original series or movies). In the movie they called her Nyota, which was what she was sometimes called in the books. |

July 28. You answered a question about toilet paper.
You're out in public and your crotch is suddenly REALLY itchy. Do you scratch it or rub it right there? |

This guy who has a pie that talks and can time travel. But he's hungry. So he eats the pie.
It would be the dialogue that sells it. Would you rather be a pirate or a ninja, and why that one? (Last edited by Rogue on 08-14-10 05:17 PM) |

A acquaintance of mine who does Rocky Horror and performs opera around the world is supposed to be in this one.
The last time I saw anything with him and Johnny Knoxville they were doing a show and tell video with fetish gadgets, so this upcoming movie I gotta see. |

Honestly I liked Gideon better in the book, but that's not to say the movie isn't AMAZING.
I haven't mentioned it here, but I totally dug a certain someone's cameo. |
