She ordered specific cakes to be available... I am not telling Ben. He will seriously walk out of the restaurant when he finds out. I'm just done. And fuck you to Ben for being absolutely NO help with this whole battle. He just sits in the background bitching about everything and getting annoyed that I don't berate my mother, insult her and throw a fucking tantrum (not his words, but it's basically what he wants me to do). He thinks it will show her that her actions have consequences... she isn't a five year old, she's my mother. That game doesn't work with her. |

| Yeah, Carnival does target the younger crowd I have noticed. Also means they have the lower rates since families tend to like to save money when possible. Win! That cruise I went on right before the move was on Carnival and I really liked it, so I am looking forward to this.
In other news, Ben's dad found us a judge. No mention of payment was made, so I don't know if we have to or not, but I don't care. I guess it pays to have a father-in-law that's a Freemason. Double win! |

| So winter finally ended like two weeks ago. Now we are in the chilly spring rain time with occasional bouts of awesome weather. We had our week of 60+, though now we are going 50s and 60s.
Still better than snow. So much better! |

| Bioware has given October 7, 2014 as the official release date for the third Dragon Age game.
So far, I have to say that the trailers have me interested enough that I preordered the Deluxe edition of the game for PC (it was only $10 more for DLC stuff and the soundtrack, so why the hell not?). I am SO happy that I can make a Dalish elf again, for they are so superior to boring old humans. No bias. Nope, none at all. That being said, I am actually making second play-throughs of the first two games. I have never done that before. Ever. Once I know the story, I am kinda done... but there are some minor permutations and dialogue options that I wanted to take just to see how they turn out. Probably just going to import my original set of saves though. That being said, anyone else planning on getting this? What are your thoughts on the stuff they have released thus far? | Humidity can kiss my lily white ass.
While temperatures in the 100+ range suck, I am still enjoying the weather out here for the less than 10% humidity. I think the high back home today was 76 with 69% humidity. Fuck that. But... I am missing out on thunderstorms, and that makes me a bit sad. |

| I have been super busy this week. Running around... well, driving around, trying to see people who can't make it to the bonfire, get all the food in that we want, etc etc.
Then back to work on Tuesday until the 7th of June, when we fly to Miami for the honeymoon... yay cruises! |

| It did go smoothly... the families get along surprisingly well, which is a big bonus.
But yeah... fuck you, 100+ degree weather in downtown Los Angeles and fuck you rush hour traffic. Overall, it really hasn't been that bad, but today was just insane. Maybe it was more noticeable because I was in a dress? |
