| Been playing through the Streets of Rage Remake again, a fanmade game that rocks on all cylinders. It's basically got the SoR1 and SoR2 paths in there, and two others that are a mix of SoR3 levels and new original content. There's a lot of options to change up the gameplay mechanics to feel more like SoR2, or SoR3, etc. It's amazing playing a huge SoR game that has all the enemies in there and all the characters. Family had to put down Daisy today, family dog we had for 18 years. She was a lively one and you wouldn't think she were a wiener dog haha, she was so damn fast. Her quality of life has sunk as the years went by lately though, she went blind, couldn't hear, and lost bladder control, and I guess she could barely move recently. I couldn't make it but they took her outside for one last time before taking her away. I guess it was hard for my dad to let go and triggered the loss of his mother a few years ago to cancer. A mournful day.

Have to say so far I like what I've heard from Bernie Sanders as well. It's not much, but he definitely gives off the vibe that he'd be a big change from the last few presidents we've had. Which should be a good thing I'd hope.

I'm still pretty behind though and need to do some homework on everything,I definitely feel like this will be a very crucial election. The Trump joke needs to end though. Even if this guy is spouting out good stuff, I just can't take a celebrity seriously at all. GTFO. lol

Same deal here. In a way though I like that I've basically supported myself, but not even having that option with my family does seem a little wrong. Financial struggles will probably be my biggest concern with this election. I'll never forget talking to one of my friends mother a few years back, how in the 80's she was working part time, living on her own, and going to school. No way in heck could you do that today, unless you luck out with some $20+ an hour part time gig and the cost of living isn't much in your area or something. The government just continues to pull funding from schools and education as the years go by, from what I hear? I'm not one that is big on goofy conspiracies or anything, but I can't help but feel that this is weirdly intentional in a lot of ways, that 2% doesn't want us to be educated. |

I didn't like Hyvee. I'm a mess haha. It was a lot more warehouse than I wanted. The training was pretty bad too though, didn't really any structure... I didn't even get to know my department much. Granted, I only gave it about two weeks. lol...

But I got an offer at Best Buy and Starbucks, and have an interview with another pharmacy job tomorrow. I'll probably lean towards that if it's full time. Either way, thankfully still have some options, but I'll really have to settle on something soon. I hope something good works out. (Last edited by Xeoman on 09-27-15 08:09 PM)

I was at campus a year or so back myself when a lockdown went down. Along with another friend who was stuck for hours longer. This and the theater shootings, it's truly nerve racking and seriously needs to end. Whatever approach they're doing right now is obviously not working.
