"You fucker." He resentfully released Leon, knowing that more violence wouldn't solve his problems, a rare thought for the Marinae leader. "Come on Eric, let's get out of here. Eric? Eric!" The comatose bodyguard snapped to attention, dropping Edgar in his confusion. "...the fuck...What happened boss?" "I dunno, but we gotta get outa here." Outside the Suvoj base, Jeremy leaned against the luge, just out of sight of the patrol. He opened his eyes and released his grip on his shard. He had lost his link with the buffoon, but hopefully Edgar had gotten his message. |

As the spikes approached him, Ornlu held up his sword, a purple bubble appeared around him. The spikes disinegrated on impact. He lowered the sword, and pointed it at Xeios. The bubble reshaped, and became a point of light at the tip of the sword. |

"One of our scientists, several years ago. He spearheaded the team that figured out how to boost the power of the shards. But he...turned against us, and left me with this." He tilted his head, revealing a jagged scar along his neck. "The shards he enhanced had distinctive traits in the etchings. But all of those shards were...removed. The only way your shard could have those markings would be if he enhanced it. But he's dead. Eric here killed him with is bare hands. What was his name Eric?" "Hatos. Josiah Hatos." |

"Ma'am, if the man you think is Josiah, is Josiah, then we are in serious trouble." Jeremy was tired of waiting. He had a limited amount of time if he wanted to stop whatever was about to happen. he decided that he would have to sneak in. He reached into the hover luge and pressed the camo button. The metamaterial activated, and the craft shimmered out of sight. Hopefully, he wouldn't get caught this time. |

| Jeremy Nalust crawled along the roof of the Suvoj base. He had to keep low to avoid being blown away by the high velocity winds. He was freezing cold, as his military uniform was not meant to keep him warm. As he crawled, he felt a large amount of heat to his left. He turned that way and saw a hole in the roof. He peered in, relishing the warmth from the hallway. As he scanned the room, he saw a man with green hair running away. That can't be good. He carefully pulled out his standard issue 9mm pistol and screwed on the silencer. He dropped through the hole and landed in a crouched position, pistol at the ready. He crept down the hall and peered into the hole in the wall. More holes, not a good sign. | |||

| Dude, you need to calm down. Sorry about not getting into college, but just because you don't go, doesn't mean you'll end up at burger king. Do you think that everyone around you went to college? No. Besides, there are plenty of other options. You can go to a community college, and then do a transfer program in two years. You'll have a much better chance then. Hell, I might even do that. So just take a deep breath, and calm down. | |||

| I felt this thread deserved to be made. So here's how I got mine:
A few years ago, I got a disc of games from PC Magazine. One of those games was a game called Roar. It was just a top down game where you flew a ship around an arena. But it was really fun and addicting. In the game there were 3 ships. The slow Thunderbird, the medium Firebird (I think, I know it was fire something), and the lightning fast Quickfox. Well, the Quickfox was my favorite, and I started using the name Megafox as my name in the high scores list on that game. And then I started using it for my name on pretty much everything. Then, I tried to join...something, using that name, but it was taken. The site gave me a list of names similar to it, and one of those names was FX114. So, I started using that, including on this board. Then, since everyone just called me FX, I ended up switching to that. End of story. |
