| Everyone has plyed variations of this, but I'll go over the rules anyway.
Basically, as many posters as possible sign up, and the game begins. I select(though PMing) two people to play as the "mafia", who, once each turn, decide on someone to kill, making him out of the game. I also choose one sheriff(through PMing), who gives me a name, for someone he wants to save. He can save himself, or anyone else who the mafia decide to try and "kill". After one person is taken out, all of the other people post and specualate as to who they think is mafia. During this time, they vote, trying to decide the guilty one. Whoever they choose gets taken out, regardless of whether or not he's mafia. He will then be revealed, and say what his role was during the game. Anyone can sign up at this point, I'd prefer at least eight people. We can begin once I think we have enough. |

I remember something like this, my cousins and I used to play it, called "Murder in the Dark"...only we did it ghetto style and rather than turn the lights off, we would play it outside, in broad daylight, and just close our eyes. Good times. Good times.  |

When the mafia decides who to hurt, do they PM the GM? Same with the Sherrif? And the sherrif probably doesn't know who's the mafia, so they can chose to save them? LOL, AAAAANNNDDD... do the mafia know who the other mafia person is? Lol, I love to be a pain in the butt. |

| Heh, no, they're valid questions.
First off, the mafia will PM the GM(me)m and so will the sheriff. Also, the mafia has no idea who the sheriff is, and the sheiff has no idea who the mafia is, so in theory, he could choose to save the mafia. Also, the mafia do know who the other mafia person is, it makes it so that I don't have to worry about it. Alright, we have enough people, so just in case someone else wants to join, I'm going to start this on monday, and choose the mafia and sheriff. |

Byte was looking into Evo's window one morning. He looked inside, and to his complete suprise...Evo was still there. There were signs of a struggle, indicating the the mafia was attacking someone, but failed, due to the sheriff. Celebrate, for no one was kicked off, as the sheriff saved the target's life. Now it is up to the civillians. Everyone here must vote on who they think is mafia. At the end, whoever has the most votes against him or her, gets killed in a most brutal fashion. Begin voting! |
