Lately ive asked myself this question. There hasnt been a single game that ive been playing lately that has gottem me hooked on them.

WoW: It has good and bad aspects, what kills me is that when you join a guild. Chances are that the high-level people wont help you at all. I have this problem and get scolded at. So the interist level has gotten thin. It can be very addicting, and questing for better gear has its rewards, but 90% of the guild mates can be rude as hell.

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion : This game was AWESOME at first. But I was really looking for a game to where I can play with people. Its a great single player game, but im not hooked on it.

Maple Story: Way too repetitive. It takes dedication, and a lot of time to level up. No PVP either in America, which is what im looking for in a good RPG game.

Titan Quest: Sure this game was a great improvement from its "Look alike" Diablo 2 game. I just felt from the reviews and gameplay that it was too easy. Your pet's AI sometimes drew in aggro for you, which really gets annoying.

Armored Core 4: GREAT game for PS3, VERY high pace, and VERY beautiful. But I havent played enough Online gameplay to actually Judge it. It looks challanging enough to actually get into, but I havent due to the EPIC challanges that are on there.

I dunno, Its just hard for me to get onto games nowadays. If theres ANY games you could recommend, I dont care what system, please recommend them to me.

Honestly, my friends and I were talking about this recently, but I think the major case here is its just been a slow time for good releases. There just hasn't been a lot of AAA games released recently, besides say God of War 2 (I'm still playing the first though, pretty far though).

This time of the year and summer usually seems to be pretty slow with videogames.

Due to school, wanting to just relax, work, time constraints, and other things I haven't found myself being overtaken by any videogames lately either, though I've really been getting into God of War it still hasn't pulled me in to the point of being just about the only thing I'm focusing on (rarely happens though).

Lost Planet was a great game, I was playing that a few months back ... online was awesome.

FEAR, now that's a game I'd have to recommend. Its hands down one of my top favorite FPS's I've ever played, and probably the best FPS I had played since Half-Life 2. Its just, incredibly fun and the setting is amazing. If you like FPS's at all and haven't played this one, I'd have to highly recommend it. It also really pulled me in, I remember playing for hours upon hours a few days when I was playing this a few months back.

That's all for now, I just haven't been playing a lot of games lately. I'd like to change that though, and plan too since I just got a thin PS2 and it'll actually read my games! (my old PS2 just gave up on me. I also still have a copy of Rogue Galaxy I haven't even touched). So I need to do some catching up with my PS2.

That's what you get for buying a PS3. The Wii actuall has a lot of games that I've been able to get really into, like Zelda: Twilight Princess, or Red Steel.

Anyway, I'd actuall pobably have to reccomend Call of Duty 2, for the PC. It has almost no lag time, great graphics, and is reall challenging when you first start playing it.

Really though, most of the games I really have a huge desire to play don't come out until later this year, like Metroid Prime 3, or Battalion wars. Games will come out soon, it's just that spring is always a slow time.

The PS3 is going to have great titles coming out in September such as Heavenly Sword, Lair, Killzone, and the new Ratchet & Clank. So you only have to wait till September for some quality titles.

*Vidar smacks Xeo with a 5 Iron for the pun.

I've been seeing this for a while, with games so often just being more of the same. I want something new! Something unique! (I want to find Katamari Damacy, for that matter...) Thing is, games cost more to make now than they used to, so trying new ideas is quite a bit riskier. =/ Most of the games that people praised in the last generation, like Halo, were still not all that unique - well-made, but still the same general gameplay that we've seen countless times. That's not really a bad thing, but there's just... I dunno, there's just not enough new ideas out there anymore.

I know the above may not have been exactly what you're complaining about, but it's a related subject.

Oh im Glad I bought my PS3, Flatout 2 was a great game, Armored Core 4 is seriously Godly, but as agreed by alot of platformer magazines: There arent alot of good titles for the PS3 as of yet.

Just a Handful. But still grand.

Also, Motostorm is an EXCELLENT game online...but I cant figure out if there is a 2 player mode. I played 2 Player at best Buy...but I cant seem to figure it out on my system.

The waiting is intense, but im waiting on MGS4 to be released...I know for a fact any game im hooked on will have to wait for this epic game. And with Online Gameplay? Its the gift that keeps on giving! =D
