| Apparently the basketball coach over there used to teach at my university so today's school paper had a lot of information from him, he and his daughter that goes there were fine. She was living in the dorm next to the one where the first shootings happened.
I think what amazes me most is the the school took two hours to notify students of the first shootings... by email. I know that on a campus that size email is probably the only way to notify so many people, but TWO HOURS? The second shootings had already begun by then! The whole thought of this ordeal is just horrifying to me... I read about how one classroom barricaded the door with a desk just before the shooter got there. He tried to force it open, and when he couldn't he fired three shots into the door and left. What could possess someone to want to kill that badly? |

| This has been bothering me far more than the attack on the World Trade Center ever did, and I have no idea why - last I heard I don't know anyone down there, but somehow I think that might be what's worrying me, that maybe one of my old friends had been there.

| Yeah, I know what you mean. It seems disturbing that someone could do this. At the same time, I feel pissed off that people are trying to blame gun stores for this. I think that if more intelligent, kind-hearted college students were permitted to carry firearms, maybe they could have stopped it from ever being a second shooting.

| It's not right to kill all those people! It is a bad thing! Over 30 people who could have changed the world have had their lives robbed by this one particular antisocial guy because he didn't like rich kids! I can't condone murder, ever.
If someone has a problem, I can even understand getting in a fight to resolve things, but never end someone's life. Humans should not have that power. |

Surely after he started shooting, somone would have thought, let's do a massive charge while holding up tables so that they can't get shot. Although, I suppose we shouldn't judge, hving been in a different position. |
