Extremely. Addicting. I have been an "Average" civ fan for roughly 6 years now, but this one takes the cake. Sure its alot more simplified in terms of consoles using it, but damn does this game feel awesome. Basically you choose a leader and you set forth and grow your own civilization, you can win by Military Conquest, Financial, Cultural, or Technological dominance. Each of which are fun to do, and are very challenging to accomplish. Military Conquest- Self Explanitory, best way to win is by using Nukes and teching up before everybody else. That, and be a commie. Financial Conquest- Earn 20,000 Gold and build -I think- a United bank. Expensive, but quick way to win. Cultural- Get 20 "Great People" and win this, this however makes you an easy target for spies, so its very challenging to pull this one off. Technological Dominance- Basically you build a Space Station, and launch it. However this one takes the longest, as depending on how you build your station depends on the percentage / accuracy it will be a success. Overall, its an extremely fun game that I highly recommend. Games take from 2-4 hours, depending on how long you think about what you want to do next. I have not played Online, as I am sure I will get Raped, but this is one game that Online gameplay is great for you and three other friends. Also, if you want to see what a very classic - but fun- civ game is like. Check this Let's Play out. Its one of my favorites. Damn dirty Romans. (Last edited by Nagis on 07-11-08 05:27 PM) |
