| Ugh, I really have mixed feelings here.
Totally wanting a new Terminator movie (especially set during the war as this one is supposed to be, I believe?) Totally a Christian Bale fan... But Christian Bale as John Connor? wtf, Connor was never much of a badass of any sort, he was always a little clumsy, geeky, the guy who did things behind the counter. Judging from the teaser here it looks like he might get a bit of action, but that's just a little weird. Meh.  |

| Yeah I've kind of blanked out T3, though you're right about him "growing up" a bit. And well I guess it's no surprise he'll have some kind of combat abilities and training from his crazy mother.
(This also reminds me, I still need to watch the last episode of the series.  , heard it was actually pretty good and they're making another season?) |

| So I saw the panel for it at Con and yes, this is pretty much a franchise reboot that's going to ignore the fact that T3 was made.
The terminators in it are going to be T-600s, which aren't going to be as advanced at Arnold's terminator models in any of the movies. As in they have rubber skin that comes off easily, but not flesh and blood. |

| McG pretty much said the show is its own entity and left it at that. So no, the show will go ignored as well.
He also explained that SkyNet doesn't exist yet and it's "still in research and development" (which goes along with the fact that they're ignoring the end of T3 where SkyNet blows a lot of the world to shit with missiles). So yeah, we see a young Kyle Reese, Mrs. John Connor, and a whole new group of human freedom fighters. |
