| I remember having an exercise like this for a health class in high school, where we started each day before going into the lecture talking about something positive that we've done, thought about or had happen to us.
I figure this will also off-set the "Fuck You" thread which is reserved for the more negative aspects of every day life. So my positive for today: I ran into my old best friend from high school that I haven't seen in the last 5 years. I've missed him so much and I'm so happy I found him, got to talk with him today, and traded numbers. So what's been something that's made you happy, amused, etc today? |

| I spent time with a couple friends today who will be going on the first flight to Korea late Monday. I'm on the second flight, which doesn't leave until the end of October, so I won't have any friends here at Ft. Hood for a month until I get to Korea myself. | |||

I have had a positive weekend. I drove over to Phoenix, Arizona to visit my best friend. We went up to Sedona and went hiking, balanced rocks, and meditated.  |

| I've been feeling rather crappy today. I can't really explain being so under the weather as I feel at this moment, but it's quite likely that it's PMS. At least, I hope that's what it is.
It seems like a lot of people are getting more and more pissed off as well around me at school and even on the bus this morning. It could also very well be the onset on seasonal depression, which I deal with every year due to the increasingly shorter days. Anyway, the few little lights in the darkness for me today: - Discovering that Stephen Chow will not only be directing the new Green Hornet movie, but playing Kato as well. - Talking with my friend Scott in history class. - And, putting up this ridiculously long post on my American studies teacher's website which felt more like a mental catharsis for me regarding where I stand with my family and society. |

| I had an extra day added to my schedule, which brings me up to 26.5 hours this week.

Well, let's see. Aside from tasty free lunch (which was cool but I had a hard time eating thanks to an earlier dentist visit) I had a productive day hunting for apartments with my boyfriend, and we have a few potential places. Also, made tomato soup that my tomato-hating boyfriend actually liked... all hail the power of garlic and basil! |
