Nice, I finished the original Macross not long ago myself. Probably my favorite Macross series... the music/singing focus just seemed a lot more realistic and original compared to others, though I still enjoy pretty much all the Macross shows.

Since you've seen it, you could maybe consider checking out Macross 7? Milia and Max are both in it and are probably the biggest supporting characters, Milia being the mayor of the city (and totally doesn't looke like she's in her 50's) while Max is the captain of the battle fleet. Mylene is one of their many children who is a main character, which is pretty cool I thought.

Have you seen Macross Do You Remember Love? Pretty interesting to watch in comparison to the series. It's not a compilation or anything but basically an alternate retelling of the story (did I talk about this earlier?), the movie itself is like a movie made within the Macross world ... it's interesting, gets specifically mentioned a few times in Macross 7. It's really cool though, the animation is really good for its time and it's just great. The film goes through the main story arc of the series, ending with the Zendtradi becoming good and everything. So it doesn't drag things out kind of like the series did after this stuff was done (I've heard Macross was only supposed to be 27 episodes or something but people wanted more. Though I did like how Minmay developed towards the end). But yeah, not sure what to think of the end myself. It's sad because I've heard the original voice actor for Hikaru died awhile back, so because of that the creators have never wanted to go back to Minmay, Misa, and Hikaru's story which seemed kind of left open.

Macross 7 has turned out to be hilariously awesome. It's so over the top and goofy ... it just works, I'm going to have to say I like it much more than Frontier right now. I'm around episode 35 now.

I plan on watching Eureka 7 ... anyone here seen that one? Thoughts?

Higurashi scares the crap out of me, I haven't even seen an episode, but it does.

It's funny because I've watched loads of anime AMV's and there was sometimes a scene that was disturbing to me, and I thought "wow, I never want to watch that anime..." I just recently realized most of them was Higurashi =p..

I still want to see them though, for some reason.

I'm currently watching Tekkaman Blade, which is fucking epic. I was linked to this video... apparently the VA for the main protagonist of the series broke a mic with his voice on two occassions, now that's dedication.
(more than likely screaming his ultimate attack, VOLTEKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)

I actually haven't watched this video and will not until I finish the series, but I love listening to it ... it just sounds unbelievably epic. The rivalry between the twins, Tekkaman Blade and Evil in the series is probably one of the best I've seen in awhile. I can't wait to actually see this final fight.

Obvious spoilers if you're interested in watching it, but at least do what I do ... just let it play and listen, screw DBZ! Despite the budget being a little low at times (it's an early 90's series), the voice acting cast is really incredible with tons of AAA names in it.

Edit: Got my hands on the OST and the song in this scene too, really awesome stuff.

I am watching...hmmm...

Completed::

-Shakugan no Shana: It's alright so far. Gotta love sword equipped lolis on fire.

-Strike Witches: You know how anime is stereotyped as being purely magical cat girls and all that? Well, this is an anime about teenage witches who never wear pants, are equipped with big guns, and gain bunny/cat ears when entering their combat mode. They fly around using mechanized leg things, and they fight against giant alien robots. Throw in some tit shots (the whole thing, no cover) for good measure. Awesome?

On-going:

-Toradora: Still quite enjoying this one.

-Bleach: I think the newest episode is a flashback episode. Shit.

-Clannad ~After Story: Same old same old.

-Soul Eater: A pretty darn good series. It's looking like it will be long-running, too. Silly me, thinking it was gonna end with Medusa trying to revive the Demon God.

Plan to See:

-Gundam 0079

No big changes yet. I love Medusa in Soul Eater so much, but good love.. I really hate Black Star.

He's beginning to get annoying as hell, and I'm getting annoyed at how weak the MAIN CHARACTER is.. Damn Maka.

I didn't like Maka at all ... especially because of her voice actor (first role apparently), she was just insanely unemotional. Though I heard she got better after like episode 7 or something when I dropped it. , I don't even think I met Medusa.

Black Star I simply hated for tossing Tsubaki around, she was <3.

TP: Most sites I've seen list that the series will be 51 episodes.

I would just like to say that, Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo is awesome.

Kannagi is my waifu.

Also, this is like ... "The last thing you'd see Xeo watch", seriously this kind of series is usually not my cup to tea at all (cutesy stuff, lots of loli's and whatnot) and I'm sure all the sci-fi elements help, but it really is fun stuff.

Hell, it'll probably be way better than what Gundam 00 has become, oh and Code Geass R2 also. Because it's NOT taking itself seriously!

Still watching Naruto and reading the Manga. The anime series is finally back to the original story after a loooong filler. I finished watching Rurouni Kenshin for the second time in years.

Berserk. I don't think I can watch another series without it paling in comparison to the awesomeness that is Berserk.

Higashi No Eden, Hatsukoi Limited, K-ON, Suzumiya Haruhi Season 2, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Bleach.

Higashi no Eden Rockks. K-ON is amazing, but almost has to much moe~. Full Metal Alchemist I'm enjoying, I'm also reading that manga so I can't wait for the anime to veer off of it's original anime storyline. Haruhi is great, the whole one episode we've seen. Bleach is fine. Hatsukoi Limited is fine, but a really typical romantic comedy.

I'm also finishing up Higurashi no Koro Ni Kai and just recently finally finished Minami-ke Okari.

I haven't watched Naruto Shippuden for 60 episodes (last April), but I plan on watching that someday again, it's good to hear the fillers are done for now. I'm reading the manga which continues to be awesome.

Wait, where does Hunter x Hunter end.

Greed Island Arc?

Sure hope so, because I'm not too keen on the manga's current arc.

As for myself, no watching much, but still reading tons of manga.

Like Mahou Sensei Negima. The mangaka (you know, that guy who did Love Hina) is a freaking genius.
