My "cool" little cousin was trying to teach me, cuz one day I actually professed to turning to the "cool" side because being a "nerd" was too expensive, and she started correcting me...and then I realized I didn't understand "popular" talk, so I tuned her out.

Geek refers more to a follower of fandoms and nifty-type dealies, while a nerd is more into technical stuff and spending time edifying themselves. A dork is someone who's awkward in every which way. Personally, I think Xeu's more adorkable.  |

| I like to think of myself as a disturbing hybrid of cultural acceptableness and geekiness. I love dungeons and dragons and video games and old cartoons, but I also try to be well-versed in "regular people topics" so I have something to talk about with everyone. I am not very technically proficient aside from film equipment, though.
