I totally agree with you. The characters, ESPECIALLY the ones to mentioned, are incredible.

It takes about 15 episodes to get into the change of story. But I think it's worth it.

Especially the recent episodes. Gory, filled with action, epic..etc

EDIT:

I just read the last bit of your post. Yes, the manga and brotherhood have the same ending and they both end in June.

That's pretty cool (how true the series is staying to the manga). I still think it's a bit odd they kind of redid the series so quickly though, especially after hearing so many great things about the original... but I guess both are different enough and all. I will have to get around to both eventually.

Started up YYH again last night, the dark tournament begins!

YYH!!! I miss that show....

Alright, so, I'm no Otaku. I'm in love with what anime/manga I HAVE had access to, but I haven't fussed over buying many things. I do buy things anime/manga related, but only when I happen to have the money...and I'm lazy about looking things up online, an would much rather talk about them in discussion...so, expect stupid questions...

...like this one...

Did the Inu Yasha anime REALLY end with them just walking around going "We'll defeat Naraku together!" Like...really?! O_o I've only had time for OnDemand lately (I know, NOT the best anime) and...while Inu Yasha isn't one of my favorites, (Though I do LOVE the music for it.) I kept noticing that OnDemand was climbing in episode numbers. So, I kept watching the last, newest one, to see if it came to an end. Next thing I know, I'm watching the most stupid episode ever, they profess to defeating Naraku together, and next thing I know, OnDemand is back to the beginning....

Is that really the end?

Really?!

I can't answer that...

But on another note Kat, you should watch Maison Ikkoku! It's by the same creator as Inuyasha though it's an all out comedy/romance/slice of life, and probably the best one I've seen. Quite the manly tear jerker.

This is one of the most epic OP's ever!

I rarely get into the slice of life stuff as I did Maison ... but it is BY FAR one of my top favorites.

No, they just finished a second season finishing the whole story.

Honestly, I'm not kidding."InuYasha: The Final Act" is out in Japanese. 26 episodes, finishes the story.

Well, she did do Ranma 1/2 before doing Inu Yasha, so let's say it wasn't the first time the author did a comedy =P

I totally agree. It's really strange... Though the ending wasn't bad... it seems so strange for it to be over..

I enjoy both of those. I didn't much like the ending of Kannagi, but I (surprisingly) ADORE K-ON! and K-ON!!

Exactly. And the managed to make it nearly(?) as good. I crack up the same amount and you can tell they have a lot more money the second time around.

Ahh, K-ON, I love you.

What's the deal with FMA?! They freaking had one thing going, then they like started it over. Music was good though. I think that's what gets me into anime these days. Well, keeps me into it. I'll give anything a shot that's recommended to me, or come across, but if I really like the music but didn't like the show too much, it's like I'll still give it a little more time because of the ambiance the music had created for me, rather than give up on it after the second or third episode. Gravitation did the same thing to me. The main kid annoyed the hell out of me...but of the music...

Still trying to iron out my free time so I can watch Maison.

Do it. It's pretty easy to relate to us younger adults. I hear it's not as popular among younger people, that could be why.

So I'm playing catch-up. I've watched and am re-watching Hetalia. It was huge this year at AX.

I'm also a few episodes into Gurren Lagann. We kept taking pics of girls dressed as Yoko and eventually went to see the movies, which had a costume contest in between, judged by the Japanese voice actor for Kamina.

Still looking into more things to watch. Seems like a ton of people are into Black Lagoon. Any good?
