| Since the "New" icon doesn't work unless you constantly mark all forums read, I tend to just go the old fashioned way and go through the forums. I look at what is new and what is being posted in, and if I can add something, I do. | |||

Marking them as old is sometimes useful, but usually I'm too lazy, so I just check last posts. |

What the hell is up with the poll? I put like 5 options and when it posted it left one out. And now when I've come back to check it the first option just read "Check" as opposed to "Check Last Posts." 
I think I was inspired to ask this when someone wrote something like, "I didn't even know there was a button for that" after I mentioned the Last Posts link at the top. Well, I was also wondering why some threads would get passed up while others got a lot of traffic. |

| I go through all of the forums the old fashioned way, and then usually mark that specific forum read and continue on through.
When I'm waiting impatiently for a response to a specific thread, I might refresh Last Posts about a hundred times until it posts. |

| I use the mark forum read or mark all forums read links. It makes it easy. I look at the forums I want to and mark them as read, then hit mark all to clear the others. Easy as pie...or cake. | |||

| I was curious as to who clicked the 'Other' button, and what they do instead of the above listed things.
Last posts is convenient, but simply refreshing the board and having a 'New' icon pop up is easier, in my opinion. Checking Last Posts is something I do when I'm not logged in, too. The New icons are a bot messed up until you log in. I think they display everything new if it posted in the last hour. |

| I have to check every interesting forum for actually new stuff. Those NEW stickers that Probably because I'm not used to continually marking forums read.
