From the same developers who have brought you the Socom games comes another shooter title that many people at first thought "That will never work". For starters, it brings seriously redonkulous amounts of users in one map for several types of game modes. Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and more. There are three factions that you can choose from: RAVEN: High Tech PMC. These guys are the techies of the battlefield. Coming equipped with lightweight weapons and tactical work. These guys ask computers first before they enter the battle. SVER: The jihad PMC. These guys are retarded. Why the fuck would you pick them? Oh wait, their weapons are bad ass. Ok. Next VALOR: The USMC type PMC. These guys hold honor, truth, and glory to their battles. Also, they are sexy. I chose Valor when I first started. And even though I never played around with the other three factions; I really love the playstyle of Valor. Reminds me a lot of MW2 or something. No Lag? None. Never been dropped out. Even with shit going everywhere and people chatting on the mic. It runs smooth. 256 players? That sounds fucking nuts!! Not really. The maps are incredibly huge. But when all players fight in the same area as you are though it does get intense. Plus, not all maps are 256 player enabled. At the least there are about 96 players. That's just for strictly Team Deathmatch. Yawn, I would rather play MW2 I can't really judge on which game is better. MAG or MW2. But I can say each game has their advantages. MAG is constantly being updated. And just reciently they brought out a Beta that is seriously going to improve the game in every way. Before the beta it was awesome, but the Beta itself just makes the game feel so much better. With an in-game weapons shop, perk trees, and more. This game fucking owns. I love it. One of the best purchases I ever made. |

I've played this at my uncle's house and my mind was blown, it is amazing. I didn't get nearly as high as 256 but it got up there. definately worth picking up. | |||

It sounds pretty interesting, plus it looks awesome.
I think it actually adds more to the army feel like this. In other games, you just work with a small group of player. This is literally an all out war. This...is Sparta. |

Been playing this for a while already, and feel it's far superior to MW2.
The maps are well designed for such extreme numbers of players, it seems to cope well online even with my occasionally crappy internet, and it's one of the few FPS games I can actually get some kills playing online! Plus I much prefer the weapon, item and armour selection, it seems a lot more balanced overall. Helps that it's a dedicated online game rather than a lacking single player game with a multiplayer stuck on it. Can't remember what class I picked though, although I've got a feeling I'm a part of VALOR. |
