| So I am constantly beraided with by my parentals to get my license, now I have no problem with that, I've already went for it once and you can guess how that went. But instead of getting me out driving again they feel it would be better telling me that they were stupid mistakes and they won't happen again. To which I say, not if I don't learn. It just gets a bit irritating hearing the same phrase over and over again. "You should get your license bud," I might snap. | |||

| I'm in the same boat. Instead of supporting me and believing in me, my parents compared me to my brother.
"Your brother wrecked the van 3 days after getting his license and he got better grades than you and blah blah blah..." Well, my brother is also a dumbass! 
I'm studying in my downtime and I don't want to go unless I'm 100% sure that I'll blow my instructor's socks off! |

| Yeah, I've been getting this, too. it gets really irritating when my parents compare me to Charlie Chaplin.
In any case, I've been doing okay. I illegally drove my girlfriend home because she was in shock the other night. Granted, she lives up the street, but I thought I did reasonably well considering my crotch was SOAKED! Okay, not really, but you get the point. |

| Hopefully your parents aren't like this when college comes around the corner. Waaaaaay more annoying (sounds like Valhalla's situation maybe?). It annoyed the hell out of me for a long time, but after awhile I was finally able to tell myself "I'm going for myself, not them". | |||
