| To start things off. I have an old friend who basically dropped everything in life to join film school. He recently got his hands on the internet again and found me on Facebook, added me, and the moment I accepted his friend request he asked if he could call me. He had something important to talk about:
After hearing that he got his hands on an HD camera and about three people as a part of his crew. He wants to come back to my area to film a B-movie for a film festival that is happening in November. Here is the kicker I will be the main character To show that he was serious he sent me pictures of his workshop that he is moving to Columbus GA just to film this show at multiple locations. My friend was like "Bitmap you were the first person I thought of when starting to write this. You are the only man for the job" This isn't going to be something serious. Nothing that will hit theaters If you don't know what a B-movie is it's basically B for low "B"udget. Meaning not a lot of money and serious effort is going into the making of this movie. 99% of the time B-movies are basically hilarious to watch and therefore not to be taken seriously. You kinda have to have an acquired taste to watch these kinda movies. I don't even know the plot yet Yeah, my friend is going to be coming to see me in about two weeks to let me get my hands on the script. He plans to start filming in August which is kinda early due to not that many 'Actors' being a part in this movie. Needless to say. I am psyched. For an example of a B-movie: WARNING NSFW The one thing about this trailer is I can't believe I forget the name of the man at 0:42. That man is not only the king of B-movies. But he also directs and acts in his own movies. He was also in the movie "Orgasmo". I can't seem to remember his name though. Love his movies though. (Last edited by Bitmap on 03-04-11 01:37 AM) |

| I talked with my friend and it's supposed to be a Suspence Drama Triller. Meaning someone in a group of friends is a murder or something like that.
I'm going to be two characters: A Drug dealer as the main character and a thug with some stupid gimmick. He basically asked me if I was comfortable with smoking out of a bong. Cause according to him I will be doing a lot of that and using an actual crack pipe. Of course no drugs will be in them. I'm just as confused as you are. E- Oh yeah, and no zombies.
