So... whatcha eatin'? Hell, what was the LAST thing you ate even? Or what are you planning to make for lunch/dinner/etc? Where you headin' for grub later? I just had Popeye's Rip'n chicken with mashed potatoes (oh my god, sausage gravy). I had it yesterday, but the potatoes and gravy are addictive. |

Last thing I had was a "chunky Kit Kat"... which is basically the British version of the "Big Kat"... a lady bought it at my work today and was talking about how good it was so I just had to try one. OMG the chocolate is so much better! We are getting ready to have chicken burritos. Nom nom nom. |

| Sushi is usually defined by the raw fish, though I've had some fusion inspired sushi that had no fish at all in them... in which case it's just that it is rolled up in rice and uses nori (seaweed) in some fashion.
I miss the Boston Roll that I used to get all the time, it had grilled chicken in it. |

| Chicken in sushi? I wonder if I can find that around here...but when it comes to food, I am surrounded by a bunch of sissies. I'm usually the "brave" one when it comes to trying things, and I'm the one with the broken pancreas! Haha. But one thing I can't handle is texture. I think it's because I don't smell or taste too well. Like, I tried octopus once on a dare...he was just looking at me and my nephew dared me...but I didn't smell or taste anything. Just felt the texture and puked instantly. So I'm a little nervous about fish, to be honest. Can anyone here tell me what kind to avoid trying when it comes to sushi? I've been wanting to be adventerous, but have either been too poor, or afrad to have another "octopus" incident in public.

| Well, the thing I usually tell people to avoid is sea urchin, that stuff is putrid and I've never met a single person who even likes it... taste, texture, or otherwise.
I would, however, recommend unagi - barbequed eel. It's freakishly delicious! |

| Went into a pizza coma over the pie I made this afternoon. I mentioned it in the Xeogaming Office thread, but it had a rosemary focaccia crust, garlic alfredo sauce, meats, mushrooms, onion, and lots of cheese.
Just had a cheeseburger (just the meat and cheese, no bread) and a salad with creamy Caesar dressing I got for 50 cents at Fresh & Easy. Good stuff. |

| Not eating at the moment, but last night I tried the Hot & Spicy chicken flavor of Sapporo Ichiban Ramen and it was very interesting. It smelled of ground up jalapeno, yet wasn't that spicy and didn't really taste much of chicken either despite my using a cup of chicken broth as part of the "two cups water" base. Good though... just odd. | |||
