| I'm still going to refrain from jumping into the manga, but yeah the current anime arc itself is kind of... whatev. Not bad, but I think I'll just take a break from watching it weekly and let the episodes pile up again. | |||

| No spoilers really. But something really cool that I love about the story is that Luffy isn't the only "rookie" pirate that's alone in the sea. There was a scene in some of the later episodes that explain that luffy is currently #2 in terms of bounties and that most of the top rookies were on the same islands as he was. They were called the "Supernovas".
E- That is episode 453 by the way. When you learn that there are -other- badass people that luffy has to fight against somepoint or another. Right now we are on episode 506! But at least in the anime it's at Spoiler:
Luffy is gonna learn HAKI! Can't wait to see how Oda animates luffy when he learns that. I mean holy shit!~ E2- I don't have the full list. But I can say that that bounties that are a part of the 11 Supernovas are Monkey D. Luffy (300 Million Beri) and Pirate Hunter Zoro (120 Million Beri). Which means that right now, in accordance to the Anime. Zoro is not the greatest swordsman. KILLER and X-Drake are the best ones. Eustass Kid: $315,000,000 Monkey D. | Dude have you heard about these side chapters Oda has been doing for awhile, like "Where are they now" kind of things... that the anime hasn't covered at all?

I really loved the way he did second gear as well, it was holy shit epic to me. 522 was amazing. I will miss Hancock though, lol. She's the one I'd love to see join the crew... somehow... |
