I dunno. I mean, I was all against Prop 8, myself, but once again we're talking all those people who threw a fit about politics, but didn't vote (I'm staring right at you, American youth). EDIT: I just remembered. When I went to that big, 2,000-strong against Westboro counter-picket in Long Beach, one of the counter-protest organizers started walking around passing out duct tape shouting, "They want to silence us! And we want to show them we can't be silenced, so put the tape over your mouths!!" Yeah... uh... huh? Maybe this is all too existential for me. (Last edited by Rogue on 10-09-11 01:46 AM) |

This version isn't quite the same as the one of his album, but Patton Oswalt's bit about Sky Cake made me laugh so hard, and now I can't help but think of the WBC and go, "Oh Sky Cake..."
