I ALSO hate salmon burgers, interestingly enough. Pretty much the only way for me to like salmon is for it to be either encrusted in garlic or blackened in cajun spices.

Tonight was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. It's really chilly tonight so it was super nice.

Why on earth would you eat it if it does that to you?

Took my mom's friend from Australia to Philippe's French Dip in downtown L.A.

I had the turkey dip sandwich and chili. Sooooo full.

Roast pork with mashed potatoes and green beans at The Pantry in downtown L.A. I've missed you, sweet Pantry.

On Tuesday morning, around 5 in the morning, I headed to Carl's Jr wanting one of those biscuits they'd been advertising on TV for a month. They said they didn't get them until Thursday.

So... after another night of no sleep...

Mission a-fucking-ccomplished.

I love that I'm the sole fatass who posts in this thing.

Making broccoli cheddar soup with Indian Wells' Spicy Pumpkin Ale in place of chicken broth. This might be interesting.

I want that biscuit thing so badly! Fuck, I miss Carl's Jr!

Also, I want spicy pumpkin ale.

So the other day I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies from scratch, they turned out super soft and yummy. I send some to Nelrith as a bribe for burning me My Little Pony on dvd so he can comment more on them if he chooses.

Apparently dinner tonight is meatballs and alfredo with noodles. I haven't really been cooking much since we started doing the overnight shifts, I just cannot get to sleep easily lately.

Meatballs and alfredo sounds like the ultimate comfort food for me.

Had this for dessert last night for my friend Marty's birthday:

We literally caravan'd down to Mission Viejo, an hour or so south, to get ice cream.

The above is the "Fake Chicken Dinner" with Zagnut bars for chicken strips, vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup for mashed potatoes and gravy, and mint and cinnamon balls for peas and carrots. Everyone else got sundaes.

That is rather awesome, but would totally kill me.

I am debating the idea toast with nutella. I just really hate dealing with the toaster.

Just had Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls. We picked up a pint and ate it at the Griffith Observatory.

I know some people have said it's not worth the hype, but it was pretty good. Not as good as Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream, but definitely better than Jimmy Fallon's Late Night Snack.

Further proof that Jimmy Fallon fails at life.

So today I had a toasted almond butter and nutella sandwich... the almond butter was rather dry and bland. I was disappointed.

Also got homemade chex mix that Ben's mom made. Rather tasty I must say.

So the other day we went to the restaurant at the TA (sad right, but different) and I had a rather yummy patty melt... it had "spicy sweet sauce" that was neither spicy nor sweet but tasted good and added a lot of flavor.

Yesterday, since two of us were sick, we had rice with chicken cooked in lipton onion soup mix. Also tasty.

I am thinking of making ramen right now in my continuing struggle against the sickness.

((WTF? I thought I posted this last night, but for some reason this post has been open in a tab all night. D'oh... Well, pretend I posted this then.))

Oh my god. I'm bad. Well, sort of.

Last night had a burger called "The Elvis." It had half a pound of hamburger meat, then peanut butter and bacon, smoked gouda, and jalapeno. Yeah, shockingly good.

Since Stitch needed to access the internet right away, we ended up sitting in a diner eating biscuits and gravy on top of that.

For lunch today we went to a vegan/vegetarian place and had the vegan pulled pork and deep-fried mint Oreos.

Gnocchi, with a homemade tomato sauce (diced tomatos, garlic, spinach, herbs), Italian meatballs, with sprinkled Parmesan cheese.

Nom nom nom.

Just shared a pint of Ben and Jerry's Red Velvet Cake ice cream with the boyfriend person.

Cake batter ice cream with cake pieces and cream cheese frosting. Not bad, but not great. A bit lacking, actually.

Sounds rather lame... I expect better from them.

So, today I had the best thing ever from a school. The Greek "restaurant" (read: station)/coffee bar had this torte made with spinach, feta cheese, and sundried tomatoes. It was honestly one of the best things I have ever eaten. Overpriced and a bit small, but SO good!

That sounds damn tasty!

Just shared a box of Samoa Girl Scout cookies with Brandon, after having a microwaved Costco chicken bake. *Sigh*

You sigh, and I go "waaah, I miss chicken bakes!"

This morning's breakfast is peanut butter multigrain cheerios, dry (almond milk went bad) and coffee. I'm also eyeing the last pistachio muffin.
