Male Shep, Infiltrator.
Quite possibly the least stealthy infiltrator ever. I went through ME2 almost never using the cloak, and once I got the Widow I was basically shooting people with it at shotgun range. In fact, this Shepard has actually said a couple variants of "I'm tired of sneaking around." Which is just weird. Also, male human Adept in Multiplayer. Nothing's quite as satisfying as seeing three teammates take on one mob and then soloing the other one. I'm also playing a couple Final Fantasy Tactics hacks, Celdia's Complete Patch (available here) and FFT 1.3/Content (available here). 1.3's pretty faithful to the original game, just a fuck of a lot harder, while CCP takes... significant liberties with the classes. The Monk replacement's basically Sabin without the Suplex (probably couldn't duplicate that in FFT), and the Vanquisher's clearly a Belmont. Still fun, though it's amusing to see how many story enemies use the original sprites - but that's for technical reasons, it's kind of a pain in the ass to change the story sprites, so to save some annoyance, they're just set up to use the full original sprite. I'm also playing Forza Motorsport 4, still. Finally got someone else to join Phase One. If anyone here plays (I doubt it), just send a request to join (and, if you're not on my friends list, send me a message so I know who you are) and I'll let you in. We're... not very competitive, though. Mostly 'cause the other guy sucks. (Last edited by Astrophel on 03-12-12 03:15 PM) |

Finished up ME3 (ugh that ending...), going for an Insanity run now. I did it in ME2, so I have to do it again! ... Multiplayer is a blast as well.
Finished up Halo Anniversary. Nice way to revisit the good ol' original Halo. Still need to get back to Saints Row 3 and Skyrim. |

Well, this post isn't about me. But my Mom and I can NOT believe what she is playing.
A little backstory. But my mom really loves the voice and gameplay of the original Duke Nukem. Hard to believe, I know. But reciently I built her and my stepdad a computer that is on caliber with mine and she wanted a few games to go with her computer. Well, she asked for Duke Nukem Forever so I happily obliged and gave her a copy No joke. These were her exact words: "Duke Nukem is hilarious! I love this game" Mind you it's 1:30 AM and she just told me this. on Facebook. And she just came home from FL. From vacation. ...I dunno what to say right now to be honest. |

I mean she isnt into videogames. That's the funny part. But she always found Duke Nukem hilarious and when I shown her this trailer:
She was excited. Like. LITERALLY excited. I know that my mother knows that I am into gaming and whatnot but I guess something about Duke Nukem cought her fancy. Hell she is enjoying it. Thats all that matters. It's weirding me out that my mom is into something like that. She owns a Wii and owns bones at Punch Out but this game? I would have never known. Christ, My mom owns E- Also forgot to mention that she really loved Portal and Portal 2. Surprised me on the fact that it took me two days to beat Portal 2 and it only took her 8 hours on a single setting. (Last edited by Bitmap on 03-20-12 01:37 AM) |

Got a Wii again, Skyward Sword is amazing!
Totally stoked for Xenoblade. Anything else that's not too obvious that I should pickup? |

Originally posted by X Ha, I'm getting a Wii again too. Just to play Xenoblade and The Last Story. I really need my JRPG fix. I just recently finished Vanquish. It sucks that Sega publishes some great games, but they never sell too well. (Last edited by Byte on 04-04-12 06:11 PM) |

Indeed, both Vanquish and Shadows of the Damned looked amazing, but it's a shame they hit the bargain bin almost instantly.
Only played the Vanquish demo myself, but yeah I just kind of almost know I'm going to love these two games, haha. Need to pick them up sometime. I definitely look forward to The Last Story myself! But man I'm so stoked for Xenoblade. Days away! |

Woo~, birthday's coming up :3 This means new games
I'm going to start up a few, such as Asura's Wrath, Hyperdimension Neptunia, possibly InFamous 2 and others. On the subject of what I'm playing now, I've been going through InFamous and collecting every trophy I can manage (62% right now :3), Nya~. I've managed to complete the Evil story first, but since I basically went on a hunt for the Blast Shards, I haven't really finished Hero mode (Really close to it, though). I'm honestly a tiny bit disappointed, since I pretty much guessed and knew the ending of the game There were one or two surprises, but the one of who Kessler is wasn't one of them. |

I've heard good things (outside of the press hehe) about Asura's Wrath, I definitely want to check that one out sometime soon myself.
The Infamous games sound pretty cool. |

I just snagged the Humble Indie Bundle for the $1.50 that I had left in my account... and Sword and Sworcery is pretty damn cool. Never played a game quite like it before and the soundtrack is amazing.

It's at the point where I think the Humble Bundles make up 80% of my Steam list. lol

I've been playing "You Don't Know Jack" every day for like the last month and a half on Facebook (it's been resurrected as a Facebook app).
I'm addicted, especially since they have Cookie Masterson hosting it and everything. Sadly it's only 4 questions plus the Jack Attack. |

Playing Team Fortress 2. Lemme copypaste a story from Jul.
(Edit: May also be worth noting that he had, until that last round, the second-highest score on the other team.) Edit2: Yesterday's matches weren't all bad, though. I did get a laugh out of one Heavy's minigun. Name: "Hush, little baby," description "Don't you whine, Heavy's gonna buy you a respawn time." Kinda wish he spent less money on me though. Right noooow, back to my fighting games fixes still. SSFIV:AEELUXE:HEYLADIES:REMIX and once in a while SFxT.
Also recently beat Urban Reign for the PS2. Game is fucking dope. It's also fucking hard. Luckily missions only last like 2-6 minutes so having to restart 094823905832906 times isn't sooo bad... Now playing Siren: New Translation, reimagining of the first Siren for PS2. Also pretty dope. Also pretty damn hard. Spooky shit though, and sometimes the ragdolls look really good. Hit a dude over the head and he crumples so...lifelike. EEP! |

Was always curious about the Siren games, look kind of Fatal Frame-esque...
Beat Crysis (360), felt super short, but it was fun until the aliens came in. |

Originally posted by X I kinda felt the same way about Crysis -- I enjoyed the entire game, but you didn't feel like an unstoppable badass after the aliens started showing up. I'm currently playing Ocarina of Time for the first time in years. Girlfriend dug up her old N64 so I've been glued to it for the last three days. |

Yeah don't even get me started on the last level on the boat. Holy shit that "boss" was annoying as crap.
I hope the second game is a lot better... which is what I generally hear. |

Originally posted by X If you like CoD, then the multiplayer is pretty much identical -- except with supersuits. As much as I've played of the sequel, it seemed a lot more linear but I was running from military most of the time instead of aliens. The suit's powers are quite a bit better streamlined as well. |
