| Finally! Some people outside reddit that are happy about the landing! Everyone I talked to at my work that day said "oh, I don't care about space stuff" and I was like "WHAT?! ITS SO IMPORTANT AND COOL AND AWESOME AND BLARGH!!!" so yeah... =D
I watched the live twitter stream, but couldn't get out of bed to watch the livestream. Its amazing that such a complex system performed perfectly and flawlessly to land an SUV sized thing on another planet. Can't wait for humans to go beyond LEO again...Moon landings would be cool to see. |
